The return from Luminius marked a turning point. Sitting in my room at the headquarters, I laid the four relics out on the table before me—the Eye of the Storm, the Heart of Nature, the Sands of Eternity, and now the Tidal Gem. Each one glowed with its own unique light, humming in harmony with the others. I could feel the immense power contained within them, but I also felt the weight of responsibility.
We weren't just reacting anymore. We were preparing.
"Rizu," Aiko knocked on the door, stepping inside. Her expression was different today. It wasn't urgent or panicked. It was... reverent. "Dr. Sato found something. Something we didn't expect. It's not a rift that appeared naturally. It's a signal. A call."
"A call?" I asked, standing up.
She handed me the tablet. On the screen was a map pointing to a location high up in the stratosphere, invisible to normal eyes. The energy reading was off the charts—higher than anything we had ever seen.
"The realm is called Celestia, the Archive of Infinity," Aiko whispered. "Legends say it is the library of the universe. It contains the history of every world that ever existed, every secret, every truth. And according to the sensors... it is opening specifically for you."
"For me?" I touched the mark on my shoulder. "Why now?"
"Because you have gathered the Elements," Dr. Sato said, joining us in the hallway. "The four foundations of reality. The Archive only reveals itself to those who have proven their worthiness. But be warned, Rizu. Knowledge is dangerous. If you read the wrong book, you could learn things that break your mind. And the Syndicate... they are hunting this place too. They want the knowledge to create the ultimate weapon."
"I have to go," I said immediately. Hana jumped onto my shoulder, purring loudly. She seemed to know this was important.
We didn't travel by plane or boat this time. We used a specialized teleportation platform designed by the Collective. Standing in the center of the room, I activated my mark.
"Minna-san," I said, looking into the camera which was already rolling. "We are going to the highest place in existence. The place where all stories are kept. Wish us luck."
[ilikecatslol6767]: LIBRARY ARC??? RIZU GONNA BECOME A WIZARD SCHOLAR 📚😺
[womanizer796901]: HOPE THEY HAVE THE BOOK ON HOW TO DEFEAT THE SYNDICATE LMAO 🤓📖
[sigmafalcon]: MAX LEVEL RIZU LETS GOOOO 🌟🌟
I stepped into the light.
The transportation felt different this time. It wasn't tumbling or falling. It was rising. Rising higher and higher, past the clouds, past the atmosphere, into the void between stars.
When I opened my eyes, I was standing on a staircase made of pure starlight.
Above me stretched a structure that defied all logic. It wasn't a building; it was a galaxy shaped like a library. Endless shelves floating in the void, each holding books made of light, glass, and energy. The "floor" was transparent, looking down upon the universe itself. Planets and stars swirled below us like decorations.
"Whoa..." I breathed out, walking forward. "Minna-san... look at this. It's beautiful. It feels... quiet. Like time doesn't exist here."
[ilikecatslol6767]: IS THAT EARTH DOWN THERE??? OMFG WE ARE LITERALLY IN SPACE
[womanizer796901]: THE AESTHETIC IS PEAK. I WOULD LIVE HERE FOREVER FR
As we walked along the floating bridges, books floated off the shelves by themselves, opening their pages to show us images—pictures of wars, of creation, of worlds being born and dying. It was overwhelming, but also fascinating.
But as we approached the center, where a massive pedestal of white marble floated in the void, the air changed.
They were already there.
And this time, it wasn't just Kaito or Commander Vane.
Standing there, waiting for us, was a figure dressed in robes of pure black and gold, wearing a mask that covered the entire face, shaped like a skull made of shadow. Behind him stood an army of elite guards, their armor gleaming dangerously.
"The Grand Master," Aiko whispered, her voice trembling slightly. "Rizu... that is the leader of the Void Syndicate. The one who started it all."
The figure slowly turned his head toward us. His voice was deep, modulated, sounding like it came from everywhere at once.
"Welcome, Rizu Tanaka," he said. "I have been waiting for you. You have caused... quite a lot of trouble for my organization."
"We aren't the trouble," I stepped forward, standing tall. I didn't feel scared. I felt the four relics warming in my bag, ready to be used. "You are the ones trying to destroy everything beautiful."
"Destroy?" The Grand Master laughed softly. "No, child. I am trying to order it. Look at your world. Chaos. Pollution. Weakness. I intend to use the power of the realms to fix humanity. To make us strong. Perfect."
"Perfect by forcing everyone to obey you?" I argued. "That's not perfection. That's slavery."
"Semantics," he dismissed my words with a wave of his hand. "Today, however, is the end of your journey. You have gathered the Four Elements. You have the power I need. Hand them over, and I might let you live as my apprentice. Refuse... and you will be erased from this library forever."
[ilikecatslol6767]: DONT DO IT RIZU!!! KICK HIS ASS HE THINKS HES GOD OR SOMETHING
[womanizer796901]: BIG BAD BOSS FINALLY SHOWED UP LETS GOOOO 🗣️🔥🔥
"I refuse," I said clearly. "These powers aren't yours to take. They are gifts given to guardians. And I will never let you use them."
"Then die."
The Grand Master raised his hand. He didn't fire simple energy blasts. He manipulated the very space around us. Bookshelves flew toward us like weapons, gravity shifted trying to crush us, and shadows formed into giant hands trying to grab me.
"Protect yourself!" Aiko shouted, engaging the elite guards.
I didn't draw a weapon. I closed my eyes and opened my heart.
Wind. Forest. Time. Tide.
I summoned all four relics, floating them in the air around me. They spun in a circle, creating a barrier of rainbow light.
When the shadows hit the barrier, they burned away like paper in fire.
"What?!" The Grand Master stepped back, sounding genuinely surprised. "You can wield all four at once?!"
"I told you," I said, opening my eyes. They were glowing with intense white light. "You don't understand these worlds. They don't respond to force. They respond to love. To care."
I pushed my hands forward.
The sky above us (which was really the void) turned into a beautiful painting of nature and storm combined. I unleashed everything I had saved up.
A tornado of leaves and water crashed down upon the enemy lines. I slowed time around the Grand Master, making him move like molasses, then sped up my own movements to appear right in front of him.
BAM!
I hit him with a palm strike filled with pure golden energy.
The Grand Master was thrown backward, sliding across the starlight floor, his mask cracking slightly. He was strong, incredibly strong, but he was fighting against the combined will of four entire realms. And they were all on my side.
"You... you are not just a Pathfinder," he hissed, touching his cracked mask. "What are you?"
"I am just someone who cares," I replied, walking toward him. "Now, leave this place. Or I will make you leave."
But the Grand Master didn't run. Instead, he laughed. A dark, bitter sound.
"Very well. You win this round, boy. But know this... the real war is just beginning. We have already prepared the final gateway. Soon, we will bring the war to your world. And then... we will see who is truly strong."
He raised his hand, and his entire army was enveloped in dark portals, vanishing instantly.
The danger was gone.
Silence returned to the Archive.
I panted heavily, letting the relics fall back into my hands. My legs felt like jelly.
"They're gone," Aiko said, walking up beside me, looking exhausted but triumphant. "You did it, Rizu. You faced the leader and won."
"I didn't win," I said softly, looking at the empty space. "I just delayed him."
Suddenly, the pedestal in the center began to glow. A book floated down from the highest shelf and landed gently in front of me.
It was open. And on the pages, words appeared, written in golden ink.
'You have passed the trials of the Elements. You have proven your heart is true. We grant you the Title: Arch Guardian.'
And then, the book showed me an image.
It was a map. But not a map of realms. It was a map of our world. And it showed a location. A massive fortress hidden in the mountains.
'The Enemy's Stronghold.'
I stared at the words.
"They were telling the truth," I whispered. "They have a headquarters. A main base."
"And now we know where it is," Dr. Sato said, her eyes shining with determination. "Rizu... are you ready? Because this time... we aren't just visiting. We are going to end this."
I looked at my camera. Millions of people had watched the whole battle.
[ilikecatslol6767]: FINAL ARC CONFIRMED??? OMFG IM NOT READY BUT IM READY 😭😭🙏
[womanizer796901]: STORM THE CASTLE LETS GOOOOO 🗡️🔥🚨
[goonercouncil]: RIZU IS THE ARCH GUARDIAN PEAK FICTION
"Minna-san," I said, closing the book. "We have the power. We have the location. The Syndicate thinks they can control everything... but they forgot that the greatest power is the people who stand together."
I looked at my friends, at Hana rubbing against my leg, and at the vast universe of knowledge around me.
"Next time... we go to war."
