"This is a Vampire, which represents the Dark Rune."
Ellen pointed at it, using mana, until a rune appeared at the heart of the vampire: the same rune that represents the Dark.
"They were called Dark because they sometimes go against morality, but it also makes them more powerful as laws do not apply to them."
Ellen then tapped the rune on the Vampire's chest, unsummoning it. She walked forward, holding the shoulder of the next one.
"This one is Servant."
The same thing happened, and the rune appeared on it's chest.
"They are called like this because they enter a contract, a Master-Servant Contract, because they need to accept the terms, before coming under servanthood."
Unsummoning the Servant, she proceeded with the next.
"This is a Salamander, a spirit. They are not under any servanthood, but they have a Benefactor - Beneficiary relationship, for they only lend their power to the Beneficiary, and they are not used, unless they voluntarily do so."
"The next one is a golem. This type of summon uses cores to make them move. They are reliant to the caster's mana, and they only move according to the will of the caster. They are sometimes in the form of elements, so don't get confused about a Golem and a Spirit. It will tick the spirit off."
"And lastly, is the Modular."
Ellen stopped and made the mechanical suit move. It then began to open up, as the hollow inside was enough to fit her in.
Then, speaking in a robotic voice, she started her lecture.
"The Modular is a scientific discovery of a new kind of Energy, which is Mechanical Power. It runs on a core, which is almost the same as the Golem, but their uses are still a bit unknown, even to the creators."
She then began her long lectures about the uses, purposes and other things related to summons. She also discussed the proper etiquette and right handling of summons.
For hours, she rambled on and on, but only one remained interested, Zypher.
He knows what he needs, but his hunger can not be satiated with just a tiny piece of bread.
Adding the knowledge in his past life, the demonstrations of Ellen, and the runes in front of him, he decided to run simulations in his head.
TAK!
A single sound was heard.
"I end my lectures with this."
Ellen said, waking up the four students from their dreamlands.
"And now, we go to the exciting part."
As she said this, the four suddenly perked up.
This is the freebie that Zypher was looking for, and it turns out that he is not the only one who has the idea.
"Let us go, then."
Ellen said, exiting the door, and leading the four out.
The walk was silent, for they are all focused on the perk, but Zypher did not know that a pair of eyes is currently observing him.
When they arrived at the room, it was a small, cramped and dim one.
"This is the Summoning Room."
Ellen started.
"Only one person can use this, for if anyone gets inside aside from you, they can tamper with the summoning, and the summon may become berserk."
They nodded their heads, clearly understanding the danger of having their mana tampered with.
"Do not worry, the circle is safe, for it is reinforced with Amplification and Restoration, so it will always yield a good result."
She then knocked on the door and asked.
"So, who wants to go first?"
Without further ado, the man in the black hood entered the room.
The door closed, and they waited.
After a few seconds, a loud rumbling can be heard, and after that, a small explosion happened.
They tried to enter the room, but Ellen stopped them.
"If your mana tampers that, it will cause a larger explosion than that."
After a few minutes, the dark hooded guy exited the room, but instead of a battered man, he looked extremely intense, as his aura is denser than it used to be.
"Congratulations on forging a Contract with the Shadow Spirit."
Ellen greeted, which startled the man. This action felt off, but Zypher shrugged it off, thinking that it was just shock that Ellen knows what they summoned.
Next to enter was the man who has a headphones, Bernard.
Again, player's names are displayed above their heads.
"What gentlemen."
Hearing this, Zypher looked beside him, and he saw the pouting Irene.
"Ladies should always go first, right?"
She looked back at Zypher, clearly looking for an ally in the said scenario.
"Well, aren't they just excited?"
"Hell no! Excited or not, they were supposed to have manners."
"And, is it right manners to complain when you tossed away your opportunity?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"What I mean is, Ma'am Ellen did not even call out who should be the first and the last."
"So is it my fault then?"
"Yes and no. Your fault being you did not grab the chance when you had it, and no, because it was not entirely a fault, but a misunderstanding."
Irene was a bit silent for a few moments, before another small explosion happened.
They looked at each other and decided to look at the thing Bernard summoned.
And when he went out, he was with a dark skinned elf, with a platinum hair, and a mark on it's forehead.
"Interesting."
They heard Ellen said as she then greeted Bernard.
"Congratulations on your Servant."
"Thanks."
Bernard said as he walked towards the man with the dark hood, and his smug face is like telling the other one that his summon is greater than the hooded man's summon.
The hooded man just scooted over, making space for Bernard, before completely ignoring him.
This icked Bernard more, but he knows he can't do anything for now, because Ellen and Zypher is looking at him.
Suddenly, a larger explosion rang out, as light passed through the small spaces out of the room.
Irene has entered the room; Ellen and the others did not see her do so at all.
"Women."
Zypher mumbled, earning a gaze from Ellen.
"I am a woman too, boy."
"Sorry, Ma'am."
