Chapter 25 - Approaching

Energies, flow and the invisible line that is connected to their summons.

The All-Father is doing it's work.

The energy frequencies, and the color of the voices: the voices that shows a certain hue of what they are feeling when they were talking.

He can also see their full potential, and the magic that was flowing inside them.

Even the equipments they have equipped that gives off some small energy readings; he can see it.

And there was it.

Ichor, Bernard and Irene. All of their names are there for him to read.

It was working so well.

On the other eye, was like a simulation world.

Like a see through glass, which he can see the skeleton of the person, not the in-game character, but the person playing the character.

There is also the innards, the muscles and every change that happens inside their body.

It was working well too.

"Hey, are you okay?"

At the sound of it, Zypher looked over where the voice came from.

There, he saw a woman with almost 100 lines in her body, which connects to each and every summon, which was the power of the All-Father.

But on the Unknown One, what he saw was not something he expected.

A bundle of mess. No bones, no structure, but a lump of energy and looked like something that didn't belong there.

It's both working well, but that's the problem.

"I'm okay, Ma'am."

He answered as his eyes were being strained. Ellen, who looked like a powerful being to him, was now just a lump of nonsense in his mind.

On their point of view, Zypher is sad because he did not get a summon, but on his part, Zion's head is like a log being split in two.

The pain did not stop, and even made his brain almost pass out.

Nauseating visuals, and even the dizziness has rooted in his mind, making him wobble from time to time.

As he answered Ellen, shock colored their faces when they saw what happened.

Teardrops of blood flowed from both eyes.

But not just the eyes, also from his other orifices.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

Ellen asked, while Ichor stretched his hand to help him, but Zypher tapped it away.

"I'm okay." He said as he bowed.

"Thank you for today." He then turned around and ran to the exit of the building.

"Poor kid." Ellen said.

But then, she suddenly sensed something that she rushed up inside the room.

The magic circle, just stopped glowing.

And the five magic circles in the floor, were now seven, and one of them, is being erased.

Erased in a way that the circle is crumbling, and it isn't affecting the other six.

"No, no, no, no!"

She said as she started creating a magic circle out of nowhere.

"TIME STAMP!"

A rune appeared and she started to make a magic circle, but then, the disintegration is faster than the creation of the magic circle.

"Double Cast!"

She said as she pulled out her other hand and opened another rune.

"ACCEL!"

Then, the rune became like a clock and forwarded time in her other hand.

Within five seconds, she finished the said circle, and the deterioration of the circle stopped.

No, it's more like that the circles have all stopped working - or rather, they are frozen in time.

"Phew."

She sighed in relief and fell down the floor.

As she marvelled on the thing she did, her eyes saw her self as something more than a person with an addiction to capes.

"I'm a genius, aren't I?"

She looked back, only to see the empty hall.

Her students were not there, and all that saw what she did was she, herself.

A vein bulged on her head as her stress went up.

"Kids nowadays."

Falling down the stairs a few more times, Zypher's head was having a war.

Although his vision and head had settled a bit, he is still struggling to adapt his own body on the changes he is experiencing.

As he stepped down, he missed one step that made him slip down.

His body, without the sense of balance he knows, did not know how to respond but to freeze up.

As his vision blurred, a hand stretched out to pull him into the side of a room.

Instincts kicked in, and Zypher tried to fight back, but his hands and his feet was bound by something that he can't even move.

"Trust me."

The person behind him said.

Suddenly, a set of footsteps went down the stairs.

Zypher, was shocked to see the person coming down the stairs.

With his headphones and a metal mask, and the dark skinned woman behind her, he ran down the stairs.

Suddenly, the dark skinned woman stopped, and looked around.

Seeing this, Bernard looked back.

"What? Why did you stop?"

The dark skinned girl then looked around, and like a dog sniffing around, she stopped on a nearby wall.

"For god's sake, you are an elf, not a dog."

Bernard went back and walked towards the place where the elf was sniffing.

He looked intently onto the door. Sniffing, he opened his mask to smell clearly.

Poking his nose, he almost sticked his face onto the wall.

Unbeknownst to him, he was only a few millimeters away from Zypher's face.

Fear, surprise and anxiety flowed through his veins as his sweat began to flow down.

PANG!

Bernard hit the head of the elf.

"You are an elf, not a dog."

Bernard then went down the stairs, while the elf followed him.

Looking back, the elf met him eye to eye, but it didn't call Bernard's attention back.

After a few seconds, he was released back to the corridor.

"Ichor?"

Suddenly, from the shadows, he appeared.

He then walked towards Zypher.

Seeing this, Zypher walked back, as his body is not yet recovered from the shock from Bernard, and now, Ichor is also acting weird.

He hit the wall, and he was looking up, when Ichor leaned down.

"Are you sure you didn't summon anything?"
