Chapter 15 - Torture

Grand Heal.

A skill in the game, which lets the players who got this, experience something worse.

In the game, if the pain receptor is high, the player is automatically, and forced to log out of the game.

But Grand Heal messes this up.

Because, Grand Heal is a type of heal that is continuously doing it's job.

Grand Heal regenerates 10 health per second, and Zypher, has only 100 health points.

These health points, once one enters a critical juncture, becomes a safety net for others.

But that's where Grand Heal comes forward.

If the player is at critical health, which is 15%, regenerates it back to 30% in one fell swoop.

Meaning, the player can not possibly die, nor be forced to log out after the Grand Heal is casted upon them.

Although it is a good blessing to others, a person with 1.8 APH has a different opinion.

Stabs covered his body.

A healer, an archer, a mage, a warrior and a scout.

He was hung on a tree, and these five players were also, playing with him.

Shots of arrows were fired to his body, as each of them lodged deep down to him.

Zypher, now has no choice but to endure.

His mind, awake, but his body is deteriorating slowly.

His ears, were like two loud statics that fight each other from time to time, as it just hears one thing, but his mind registers it as two.

His body is convulsing in extreme causes, such as burns and freezes from the mage.

His hands felt like it is being torn apart by a savage beast as the rope tore through it.

His feet feels like it was dipped in boiling oil but submerged in ice as hypothermia started to kick in.

His mind, although filled with numbness, still feels the pain of being tortured.

And the priest? He casts heals from time to time.

To let Zypher come back to the game, and not let him get logged out.

Unlucky for them, they didn't know that Zypher doesn't need that much healing.

"You pulled a good move there."

The warrior said, while sucking on a lollipop.

He, and the others, were looking at the battered man, devoid of any emotions.

"I was caught off guard."

He stood up, and pulled his sword.

"...but luckily, I found you again."

Stab!

A fast stab went through Zypher's stomach, which made him puke out blood.

It went on for a few seconds, and the man still twisted the sword, making Zypher felt the pain more.

Intense pain washed over his body, but his eyes were still filled with vigor and rage.

"Oh, I love that look."

The mage said as she fired a thunderbold towards Zypher.

His body convulsed, shook and squirmed as the electrical current went to his body, but his eyes remained furious.

The spear is still stuck on his back, and it created a hole on his body, which was because it was dangling down, and he is hanged up, so it moved a few times, bleeding him out.

But the heals were coming at a fast pace that his wasn't even done reacting to the first pain, yet the second pain is already there.

"AARRRGHHHH!"

Shouting, he was desperate to come out of this, but a sudden thought washed over his mind.

"What can you do to us?"

The archer said, as she fired another arrow.

This time, it hit Zypher's eye and it lodged itself very deep.

Gritting his teeth, his gums began to bleed.

"You should've gave me the quest item."

The warrior said as he struck the spear with his sword.

Vibrations went through it as it was like a wave crashed onto his body.

But still, he is so mad.

Because he knows who they are.

Back at the Adventurer's Guild, they were the ones who saw the motes of light.

And, Zypher, who they thought, was in a quest, became their target.

A single mistake cost him greatly, and so, Zypher swore an oath to himself.

To never, ever, let anyone, see what he has.

Seeing his gaze deepened, the swordsman's face contorted in rage.

"You still have the time to be angry?"

He suddenly swung his sword towards Zypher's foot, making him scream in pain.

His rage boiled up like oil.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! SCREAM!"

A healing spell landed on his body, regenerating his amputated foot.

The healing was not the problem, but the sudden feeling and losing his feet within one second sent a shock to his head that even him did not understand.

Fear struck him, as his mind started to drift away.

Suddenly, a voice echoed in his mind.

"You're still struggling?"

This words suddenly woke him up.

But, what he saw was a sword coming down to slice off his hands.

Falling down the tree, his body convulsed. His body was like being rolled over by a truck.

His one eye was blind, and his balance is not good because the arrow went out his ear.

He tried to get up, but the burning pain from his amputated hand was too much that his brain can not process everything at once, giving him shock after shock.

"Is that all you've got?"

The voice suddenly said again, making Zypher grit his teeth.

Zypher's action was not hidden from the others, but this time, they stopped at their tracks.

A light suddenly shone from Zypher's body, as a single barbed wire tattoo glowed.

It was evident as the shine can still be seen under the clothes he is using.

Suddenly, the arrow and the spear that punctured his eye began to disintegrate, and his eye color changed.

[White Chain Unlocked - Transcension.]

Zypher moved with unknown speed as he punched the face of the warrior.

After that, he took his spear and threw it to the archer, impaling her to a tree.

Holding the warrior's face, he kicked the mage towards the priest, and delivered a punch towards the scout.

In that moment, Zypher became invincible.
