His arm, looked like cooked meat.
His mind is in intolerable state.
His energy is in turmoil.
That was what Adelaide is seeing now, yet despite the circumstances, Zypher's eyes did not waver.
"You dare talk about her again?"
Instead of a forceful question, she asked it in a manner that she is also questionning the validity of what Zypher is telling her.
"Yes, and I will always tell you that you have a sister."
"I do not."
"You have one."
"Then I won't accept your terms."
"Okay, you have no sisters."
"Sisters? You mean, there are more?"
"None, Nada, Null. You don't have any sisters."
Adelaide was left speechless.
"I think you will be fine, cause you still got time to joke around."
"Nah, I'm weak, so please carry me under your wing."
"I have no wings though."
"Then please carry me on your back."
"You always have something to say, huh."
"Of c--"
Adelaide then turned around to exit the door.
This stopped Zypher from speaking, but it also made him froze in embarrassment.
"Rest up, because I won't be merciful."
This time, he beamed as he heard Adelaide speak.
He sighed as he felt all the pain he was feeling in his body.
Luckily, he has the Grand Heal that heals his body from time to time.
Now, his hand is back to its normal state, and his body, which is in turmoil, went back to being a still water.
Sighing, he opened his Quest Panel to see his progress.
First, is the 10 Quests of a Hero.
Because of his predicament, Zypher can't level up, or even do the things in between the 10 Checkpoint Quests, so they are basically much harder than the 100 Quests.
So, he has to do roundabout methods to try and get some things for himself.
Before going here, he took a walk, and found a place where he can take his Sub-Class, which is a blacksmith nearby.
It takes care of his Sub-Class, but his class is still far.
And so, Zypher decided to take drastic measures to get a Class.
But now is not the time for it. His body won't be able to hold on if he decided to just go with his plans. He needed a stronger body.
Which is another part of his quests, but it is from the Clear Chain.
The first card, the ones with four symbols, gave him a quest, that is supplementary to his 10 Quests of a hero; which is to have his Sub-Class in Advanced Rank.
Novice, Beginner, Apprentice, Advanced.
These are the first four ranks, also known as the Introductory Phase.
And for him, a sub-class, which is creation, needs some tools, so he has to make something, out of nothing.
This stresses him out, but he has no choice but to plan ahead how to do it.
And the last Quest, the card he took from Mr. Celess before they parted ways.
[Clear Level 5 of Tower and Reverse Tower.]
Zypher couldn't help but sigh.
The Tower.
In Project: Zerø, there is a content that is only accessible by the players, but not the natives.
And in this tower, is a challenge that gives rewards when cleared.
Also, because it is a player-only content, there is a rankings there, which also makes players try their best to clear or surpass.
Zypher, who knows everything in his past life, is stuck ina dilemma.
The Tower, as it is said, is the building that goes up to the sky; only God knows where it ends.
But the same can be said about the Reverse Tower.
If the Tower is one to climb, the Reverse is the one to go down.
And if you cleared a floor in the tower, the reverse floor is harder, and vice versa.
And it follows a certain formula: if you cleared the first floor, the reverse floor is twice as hard, and if you clear the second floor, the reverse floor is thrice as hard.
That is why the rankings of the Reverse Floors is different from the rankings of fhe Floors.
And it is also a way to prevent a player from monopolizing the rewards.
Also, another problem of Zypher is that, even if there are no level restrictions in the Tower, he has to make himself stronger to even clear one floor.
In his past life, he cleared the 60th floor of the tower, but was not able to clear the reverse ones because of the difficulty.
Although he challenged himself a few times, he almost lost every time, only to be saved by his....
Suddenly, an idea popped up from Zypher's mind.
He then took the fifteen basic skills he bought from different stores.
His eyes shone brightly, and laughed at himself.
Standing up, he didn't even changed his clothes, and walked out of the room.
The strangeness, and all of the things he have right now, is just a hurdle he has to break through.
Seeing him go out of the room, Neri, who was speaking to Adelaide nearby, raised her eyebrow.
Adelaide is also shocked, but seeing the limping man walking strange, Adelaide signalled Neri.
She nodded and threw something to Zypher.
"Think fast!"
She shouted, but Zypher's reaction time is faster.
He grabbed the bottle and saw three bright red balls.
"That's the Qi Pill. It supresses your debuffs for a day. Use it wisely."
Adelaide shouted, but Zypher was already out in the yard.
"You sound like an old mom."
"Shut up, Neri."
"Yes, Ma'am."
Upon going out, Zypher walked towards an alleyway of the part of Lun' Ara.
He then took a few turns, before arriving at a certain place.
This house looked shabby, but all his needs is in here.
He knocked slowly, then he opened the door.
It is a school, but not an ordinary school.
This is a preliminary school for each and every class.
"Welcome! How may I help you?"
Zypher beamed before answering.
"I came to learn."
