Int. Mixo Company Gate. Day.
(Kang gets angry at them.)
Kang: Wait... (Everyone falls silent.)
Eun: What happened? (Eun and Won turn around.)
Mr. Kang: You two... (Park looks surprised—as do the other two.)
Won: Oh, I told you! It's Mr. Kang and *that* guy.
Kang: Shut up! (Park starts laughing.)
Eun: That little pest is laughing. (Mr. Kang walks toward them.)
Mr. Kang: What are you two doing here? Eun: (Slightly flustered) We work here.
Kang: Who hired you two? And why were you in such a rush that you went around shoving everyone?
Won: Oh... (Stammering) Bo... Boss, we were running late, so we pushed past people. Please forgive us.
Park: Let it go, Kang. It was just a mistake. (Laughing.)
Kang: (Ignoring Park) Don't you two know the office timings?
Eun: It's not that, Sir. Our alarm didn't go off, so we woke up late. (Everyone else was enjoying the spectacle.) Won: (In a low voice) Why are you lying? Yoon: Just be quiet.
Kang: I don't care. (Announcing to the group) Alright, everyone can finish their work early today and head home. Except for you two. (Everyone cheers and shouts happily, though eun's office colleague looks annoyed.) Oh—since you two arrived late today, you will be working until late tonight; you aren't leaving until you've finished *all* your work.
Won: What?! Huh? (Mr. Kang leaves, and everyone follows suit, returning to their work.) (Park leaves as well.)
Won: Come on, let's get going now... Eun: (Watching Mr. Kang walk away) That grumpy old kangaroo. He didn't even look back.
Won: Yeah? What is it?
Eun: Nothing. Let's go.
Cut to:
Int: LK Company. Day.
(Lee Min-joo arrives at the company, dressed in a suit and boots. As soon as Lee Min-joo enters, everyone stands up to welcome him, and his secretary approaches him.)
Secretary Yoo-jung: I'm sorry, Sir. I know I sent you a lot of calls and messages—fully aware that you were attending to personal matters—but the investors arrived quite a while ago, and they were asking for you. I tried to reason with them, but they were spouting nonsense about our company and about you. Please, could you go and meet with them? Lee: Alright.
(Lee enters the meeting room. As soon as he steps inside, everyone stands up. Lee walks over and takes a seat.)
Lee: He asks everyone to sit down. (Everyone begins to take their seats, when suddenly Lee turns to the investors and says, "I didn't tell you to sit down; remain standing."
Investors: What are you saying? Do you even realize what you're saying? Who do you think you are dealing with? We've been waiting here for ages—and you think this is acceptable?
Lee: You're in a hurry, aren't you? So say what you have to say—and be quick about it—then get out.
Investors: What is the meaning of this? Speak! (Lee begins to examine the files lying on the table. After glancing through them, he tosses them aside.) (He looks directly at them.)
Lee: What is all this? We have no interest in working with you in this manner. This is absolute rubbish. (Lee stands up and turns to leave; just as he starts to walk away...)
Investor: Wait... So you called us here just to humiliate us? Who do you think you are? You're rejecting a deal of this magnitude! Do you *really* have a better option than this—something worth turning *this* down for?
Lee: (Angrily) Yes, I *do* have something better than this deal; and besides, I have absolutely no interest in it whatsoever. Do you even know who I am? Deals like this come and go. This deal means nothing to me.
(Lee walks back and slams his hand down on the table.) So get out—do you understand? (The investors leave in a rage.)
Lee: (To everyone else, angrily) Get back to work—all of you.
