Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Mountains

Of course, Godzilla didn't always use an enhanced Atomic Breath.

Therefore, it was also fun to guess whether the Creaturess that tried to snatch away Godzilla's kills had "won the lottery."

It could be said that Godzilla played his way out of that immeasurably vast forest.

And after seeing the grassland, Godzilla did not stop his steps.

For him, there was no difference between grassland and forest.

However, as soon as Godzilla entered the grassland, he was met with a warm welcome.

Godzilla was walking normally in the grassland, and the surrounding Creaturess had long sensed the danger and fled, so it was very quiet.

Except for his own footsteps.

And just at this moment, Godzilla felt that something was wrong under his feet.

Hmm?

Just as Godzilla stopped and looked down in confusion, the ground where he stood suddenly collapsed.

In Godzilla's bewildered Eyes, a huge flesh worm burst out from underground!

This was a white flesh worm about a hundred meters long, with no Eyes at its front, only a deep abyss-like mouth full of sharp teeth, like a meat grinder!

At this moment, this large mouth was biting one of Godzilla's legs, as if trying to sever it.

However, the embarrassing thing was that no matter how the flesh worm's abyss-like mouth cut, it could not harm Godzilla's leg.

It could only scrape white marks on his toenails.

The flesh worm also seemed to have discovered the "prey" was difficult to deal with. Its hundred-meter-long body, like a flexible snake, began to coil around Godzilla's body, starting from his foot.

Godzilla looked at the flesh worm on his body and fell silent.

Where did this silly thing come from?

Does this thing have no intelligence at all?

Godzilla looked at the flesh worm's hundred-meter-long body and guessed that it might indeed not need intelligence.

With such a long body and a terrifying mouth capable of severing most prey, very few prey could escape its pursuit.

Therefore, it didn't need to evolve any wisdom.

But unfortunately, it met Godzilla.

Looking at the white worm that had coiled once around his two legs and could not continue to coil, Godzilla extended his two front claws.

He was ready to tear it off and then pull his foot out of its mouth.

However, looking at the pure white worm, Godzilla had a sudden thought.

He didn't make a move, but instead sprayed his Atomic Breath like a flamethrower, in a scattered pattern, onto the worm on his leg.

"Hiss~"

Immediately, the worm's mouth let out a mournful shriek, trying to escape.

But Godzilla would not let it have its way, firmly stepping on it with one foot.

Then, in less than a minute, this massive worm was burned to death by Godzilla, and it emitted an appetizing aroma.

Gulp~

Ignoring his mouth, which was burned from the excessive dispersion, Godzilla picked up the well-roasted worm and began to feast.

Hmm~ good, good.

Godzilla finally showed a satisfied expression.

After coming to this world, he had eaten all kinds of Creaturess, and their taste could be said to be indescribable.

It wasn't that Godzilla didn't want to cook them before eating; it was because those Creaturess, unlike this white flesh worm, were full of fat and protein, and cooking them might not change the taste much.

Godzilla bit the fleshy worm in his mouth and then climbed out of the pit, which was about fifty meters deep.

Half a day later, a familiar tremor came from underfoot again, and with a loud bang, Godzilla fell into a pit again.

Then, to Godzilla's surprise, another worm, also over a hundred meters long, burst out from underground and bit his foot.

A Creatures delivered right to his doorstep, how could Godzilla be polite to it?

Godzilla stepped on the worm that bit him, then spewed a mouthful of flames, and in less than ten minutes, he burned it to death. The reason it took so long was because Godzilla had lowered the temperature of this breath.

Rather than an Atomic Breath, it was more like a "white-hot light" with a lower temperature!

Although the worm was dead, it didn't mean it was cooked.

So Godzilla, not fearing the effort, burned it for more than thirty minutes.

He only stopped after the entire surface of the worm was charred.

This time, Godzilla didn't climb out of the pit and eat while walking. Instead, he jumped up slightly with both legs, then sat down on the edge of the pit, enjoying his meal.

It seems there are quite a few of these worms in this grassland.

With that thought, Godzilla suddenly didn't want to leave this grassland.

At least not for a short time.

After finishing the roasted worm in his hand, Godzilla climbed out of the pit and began to wander all over the grassland.

And Godzilla's wandering made the entire grassland restless.

Countless monsters left their original territories just to avoid Godzilla.

But when they settled down, Godzilla came to their newly settled territory—helplessly, they could only migrate again.

It could be said that the entire grassland was thrown into chaos because of Godzilla's wandering.

But Godzilla didn't care about that; he only cared if there were still those worms.

The reason Godzilla wandered in the grassland was that he discovered those low-intelligence worms hunted by sensing ground vibrations.

And Godzilla's movements when he walked were not small, so he only needed to walk normally to attract those worms.

Of course, besides the worms, Godzilla also preyed on some other Creaturess in the grassland.

Then Godzilla discovered that, in fact, the monsters in this world were not that bad.

Some monsters were still edible.

A few days after Godzilla entered this grassland, he finally decided to leave.

Because he could no longer lure out those flesh worms.

Moreover, all the edible monsters on the ground had already been wiped out by him.

There was no point in staying here anymore.

And his next target was very clear: a mountain range adjacent to this grassland!

The mountain range was extremely high; even with Godzilla's eyesight, he couldn't see the top, and its length was even more astonishing.

Godzilla even suspected that this mountain range might have divided the entire continent in half.

Since he became Godzilla, he had never tried climbing a mountain.

And with such a high mountain range, Godzilla was a bit eager to try.

Thinking it, he did it. Godzilla quickly walked towards the mountain range.

His steps seemed much lighter.

The mountain range looked quite close, but Godzilla walked for almost half an hour before reaching its foot.

Subsequently, Godzilla did not stop and began his mountain climbing journey.

The anticipated difficulties did not appear. Using both his hands and feet, he quickly climbed to a considerable height.
