Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Concessions

In front of the culture tank, a person in a protective suit looked at the monster inside the tank with fervent Eyes.

After learning that the American Empire was going to establish a Laboratory to study G-cells in DJ, he voluntarily applied to come, just to witness the Alien monster in front of him with his own Eyes.

In fact, this was not an experimental subject from the Laboratory; it was just a monster resembling Godzilla formed by a large aggregation of Godzilla's blood.

They paid a considerable price to restrain this monster initially.

They eventually captured it using a coagulant, but even so, this monster was still alive, and if the injection of the coagulant stopped, it would revive in no time.

"I wonder how captivating the true Godzilla would be."

Anyone who knows about Godzilla develops a fascination with him, wanting to understand him in more detail.

However, Godzilla has disappeared into the sea, and it is unknown how long it will be before he reappears in human society.

Most people do not wish for Godzilla to reappear, as that would signify another disaster.

But a small number of people, however, long for Godzilla's return.

Because then, they would be able to witness Godzilla's true form with their own Eyes.

Inside this secret Laboratory, besides this already frozen Individual, there were other Creaturess of strange shapes.

These Creaturess were almost all mutated products after being transplanted with G-cells, and among them, there were even a considerable number of humans!

Most of these Creaturess died because they could not withstand the G-cells, but many still survived.

But they were not satisfied with those Creatures; those Creaturess did not meet their expectations.

Strictly speaking, those Creaturess were all failures.

Fortunately, G-cells can self-proliferate, so even after so many experiments, there has still been no shortage of G-cells.

However, the deeper they understood G-cells, the more they feared.

Because they found it difficult to imagine how humans could possibly deal with Godzilla.

Inside the Laboratory, within a room where experimental subjects were confined.

An extremely distorted monster huddled in a corner of the room.

This was a human over two meters tall, with half of his body covered in black tumors.

The one Eye of this human not covered by tumors had lost all its light, either due to the influence of G-cells or because he had lost his sanity.

Huddled in the corner of the room, with half his body covered in hideous tumors, this person was one of many experimental subjects in this Laboratory.

From the perspective of the people in this Laboratory, he was no different from anyone else.

Therefore, he was not treated specially.

This was also why he had survived until now, but his good luck seemed to be ending today!

For these experimental subjects that failed to meet the expectations of those people, besides being discarded, they could only be repurposed for other experiments.

Today, there were not many empty rooms left in the Laboratory, so it was time for a cleanup.

These experimental subjects would be transported to another Laboratory for experiments on weapons to counter Godzilla.

With the release of the special coagulant, the experimental subject in the room suddenly twitched, and all the tumors on half his body underwent a sudden change!

His originally hideous black pustules on that half of his body all opened their eyelids, revealing their lifeless Eyes inside.

It turned out that those "tumors" were all Eyes!

Through monitoring, the people in the Laboratory could see that those Eyes contracted slightly due to the coagulant, indicating that they were not just decorations.

The coagulant stopped after a short while; they did not release too much coagulant. They only needed to make the experimental subject lose the desire to move.

The transfer of the experimental subjects proceeded without incident.

Once all were loaded into containers, they would be shipped across the ocean to another American Empire Laboratory.

But today, it clearly wouldn't be that easy!

Godzilla is constantly evolving!

And so are G-cells.

These experimental subjects had undergone countless experiments in the Laboratory, and their bodies had long since undergone unknown changes.

Thus, the next day, an inconspicuous news item appeared internationally.

A ship traveling from an island nation to the American Empire exploded, with no survivors found yet.

Inside the ship, the experimental subjects, who were treated as weapon test subjects, all escaped.

Not many people paid attention to this.

Because even if those experimental subjects were not killed, they would die soon enough.

But some Scientists warned that those experimental subjects might grow into monsters like Godzilla, but in the vast ocean, even if they wanted to retrieve them, how would they find them?

--- Godzilla was a bit discouraged.

Ever since returning from the world of "prometheus," Godzilla would search for other worlds whenever he had time.

But as his energy was about to run out, he still found nothing.

Could it be that there was some technique he hadn't found?

Besides searching for new worlds, Godzilla left the underwater volcano and wandered the ocean.

Essentially, Godzilla has a restless personality.

It was already very difficult for him to stay in the depths of the ocean for so long without any human presence.

Without a phone, without a computer, there were no means to pass the time.

Godzilla felt like he was going crazy from boredom.

Godzilla thought of the two worlds of "alien vs. predator" and "prometheus."

Should he visit these two worlds?

He had already been to the world of "prometheus," and the other world was too dangerous.

So Godzilla could only sigh and continue searching for new worlds.

In addition, Godzilla was also getting used to the power he gained from the "black water" in the "prometheus" world.

The Alien's body structure was clearly not suitable for Godzilla. Although adding an exoskeleton greatly improved his defense, the problem was that heat dissipation became an issue.

And Godzilla did not plan to change the Alien's whip-blade tail and inner jaw.

As for the tail, if he changed it, releasing Atomic Breath from the tail would become a problem. Compared to negligible close-combat ability, he still valued Atomic Breath more.

As for the inner jaw, Godzilla felt it would not be of much use if he changed it.

After all, if Atomic Breath couldn't solve an opponent, the inner jaw would be useless too.

More importantly, if the inner jaw were truly modified, it would also have a certain impact on the release of Atomic Breath.

No matter how excellent the body structure, it must yield to Atomic Breath.

Unless its function surpasses Atomic Breath!
