Aria's POV
"How does he know where I am?" I asked Leah and my voice came out sharper than I meant it to.
Leah looked guilty. "I don't know for sure but I think someone from the pack might've followed me here. I tried to be careful but with everything happening so fast…"
"It's fine," Lucian said and he was already moving toward the windows, checking outside. "How far behind you was he?"
"Maybe ten minutes?" Leah said. "I drove as fast as I could to warn you."
Ten minutes. That wasn't a lot of time.
"We could leave," I said. "Go somewhere else before he gets here."
Lucian looked at me and shook his head. "We have the assassin downstairs and we can't move him without risking him escaping or dying from the silver burns. Plus, running makes us look guilty."
"Guilty of what?" I asked. "We didn't do anything wrong."
