The Academy's Secret Trial Tower was a vertical dungeon of 100 floors, built during the era of the First Leo Heart to stress-test the limits of a Tamer's soul. To reach the materials needed for a Grade-A Evolution, Leo and Samuel had to climb to the 50th floor—a feat usually reserved for graduating seniors.
"This is 'Hell-Week,' Sam," Leo said, standing at the obsidian gates of the tower. "No more safety nets. If we want to beat the Vance Foundation's 'Pseudo-God,' our pets need to evolve into their True Sovereign Forms."

Leo used his Sovereign's Insight to find the "Anchor Point" of the illusion and shattered it with a single pulse from Kael, the Void-Dragon Prince.
Floor 50: The Guardian of Essence
The 50th floor was an open-air arena at the top of the tower, clouds swirling beneath their feet. Standing in the center was a Cerulean Chimera (Grade-A, Level 45)—a natural one, unlike Vance's twisted experiments.
"This is it," Leo whispered. "The guardian of the Star-Fall Essence and Nine-Tail Nectar."
The Chimera breathed a gale of freezing frost. Leo didn't dodge. He stepped forward, his white hair glowing.
"Nova, Astro-Shield! Amber, Nine-Tail Manifestation!"
Even though Amber only had two physical tails, Leo used System Points to temporarily manifest the spectral forms of the other seven. The Fox turned into a giant of crimson and gold light, clashing with the Chimera in a storm of elemental energy.

A voice echoed in Leo's mind—the same cold, mechanical voice of the "System" from 10,000 years ago, but distorted.
"The fragments are calling, Heir of Heart. The Vance 'God' is moving toward the Trench. If the First Heart is consumed by the machine, the Merger will reverse... and Earth will be erased."
Leo stood up, his aura now so powerful that the stone floor of the Trial Tower began to crack.
"Sam, get your gear," Leo said, his voice dropping an octave. "We're not waiting for the Championship. We're heading to the Abyssal Trench tonight. Vance isn't just trying to win a tournament—he's trying to restart the apocalypse."
