Chapter 14: The Sovereign's Fusion
The deep-sea battlefield was a graveyard of twisted metal and bioluminescent blood. As the Pseudo-God Deus-Vance surged forward, its body of liquid silver shifted, forming a thousand jagged blades that sliced through the ocean currents.
"Leo! The pressure is breaking through the Void-Bubble!" Samuel shouted, his Earth-Dragon King straining to hold up a massive tectonic shield against the Pseudo-God's crushing aura.

[Solution: Triple-Soul Resonance Required.]
"Master Silas, Kaelin! Get the rescued pets out of here!" Leo roared, his white hair now a blazing crown of violet light. "Sam, give me ten seconds! Hold that shield with everything you have!"
"I've got you, brother! DRACONIC BULWARK!" Samuel's Raptor grew to twice its size, its obsidian scales glowing with a deep emerald fire as it anchored itself to the trench floor.
The Forbidden Technique: Triple-Fusion
Leo closed his eyes. In the silence of his soul space, he saw his three partners. Nova, the gatekeeper of space; Amber, the eternal flame; and Kael, the prince of the void.
"We aren't just a team," Leo whispered. "We are the New World's Heart."
"System, spend all remaining Points! Activate: Trinity Sovereign Descent!"

[Warning: Soul Strain at 95%. Synchronizing...]
A massive pillar of violet, white, and crimson light erupted from the center of the trench, vaporizing the water for miles. When the light faded, Leo was gone. In his place stood a humanoid figure clad in Void-Plate Armor, with nine flowing tails of white fire and a dragon-serpent coiled around his arms.

The Fall of the Vance Foundation
Lord Vance, watching from the safety of his command center, screamed into the comms. "Kill him! Deus-Vance, consume his soul!"
The Pseudo-God roared, a sound that cracked the very glass of the underwater base. It lunged, but the Avatar moved faster than thought. Leo didn't dodge; he simply reached out and caught the Pseudo-God's silver blade with his bare hand.
"You built a god out of scrap metal and stolen blood," Leo's voice was a harmony of four beings. "Now, give back what doesn't belong to you."
Leo's hand pulsed. The Void-Heart Fragment inside the Pseudo-God began to resonate. With a sudden, violent yank, Leo tore the glowing violet crystal out of the machine's chest.
BOOM!
Without its power source, the liquid silver body of the Pseudo-God collapsed, melting into a puddle of inert mercury. The shockwave traveled back through the mana-conduits, blowing out every terminal in the Vance Research Sanctum.
"No... my life's work!" Vance's scream was cut short as the trench's pressure finally crushed the compromised dome of his base. The Vance Foundation—the empire built on exploitation—was erased in a single night.
The Shadow in the Ruins
As the dust settled and Leo reverted to his human form, gasping for air while Kael curled protectively around him, a new notification appeared on the System screen.
[SYSTEM: Hidden Frequency Detected.]
[Tracing signal... Origin: The 'Void-Eaters' Cult.]
From the shadows of a nearby thermal vent, three figures in hooded, bone-stitched robes emerged. They didn't have pets; they had parasitic tentacles growing from their backs that pulsed with an ancient, terrifying energy.
"The Vance Foundation was a useful tool," one of the cultists hissed, his voice sounding like wet gravel. "They provided the data. They proved that the Heart bloodline is finally ripe for harvest."
"Who are you?" Leo asked, struggling to stand.
"We are the Apostles of the Primal Maw," the cultist replied, bowing mockingly. "We worship the thing that lived outside the simulation long before your ancestor 'saved' this world. The Great Merger was not a mistake, boy. It was an invitation."
One of the cultists pointed to the Void-Heart Fragment in Leo's hand. "Keep it for now. Collect them all. The more you feed that dragon prince, the more delicious the sacrifice will be when our Master finally wakes."
With a sudden burst of dark, oily smoke, the cultists vanished, leaving behind only the smell of rotting sea-life and a chilling realization: The Vance family was just the tip of a much darker iceberg.
The Aftermath: A World Changed
Weeks later, the Global Tamer Alliance declared the Vance family as terrorists and seized all their assets. Leo Heart was no longer just a "prodigy"—he was a war hero.
But as Leo sat on the porch of the Heart Ranch, looking at the three moons in the sky, he felt the Void-Heart Fragment pulsing in his pocket. He knew the peace wouldn't last. The Championship was still coming, and now he knew it was a trap set by an organization that had been hiding in the shadows for ten thousand years.

"Ready for the next round, Kael?"
The little dragon chirped, its eyes reflecting the stars.
