The black coats teleported, leaving Sally alone with Arthur who had just arrived. His face was tired from running around looking for Sally. She turns to him and smiles before heading back with him. Since no one knew of her plan with Ed, she could not tell Arthur about it
Xing ran to the hotel without stopping to rest. By the time she got there,it was five in the evening and the fire had already died down. After checking around,a black coat brings her the coat Ed wore and handed it over to her.
She stared blankly at the coat while fondling it for any materials left inside. She carries a case from inside with her name on it
"Hey...look around for my... Ed look for Ed"
Her guards scattered around to search for him leaving her alone. After she opens it,a teardrop flowed down her eyes without her realizing. She held the coat and the case close to her body and smiled

Sally and her crew were finally called in by the imperial family. Which gave them an opportunity to see the king if allowed. Leaving the crowd, the walked to the new location.

After a while of silence,he stood to his feet, having mastered the first act of the human path. Just then, he checks himself and realized that his coat was gone, that would mean his items were gone
"Argh this is bad... I also had to sacrifice my recovery points to get out of that fire unscathed.
This is bad... I hope Melissa already delivered my message on time.
He stood to his feet and sighed into thin air before turning back.
"The timing for the escape was wrong, don't you think so too... Gap?"
Gap who was planning to ambush him from behind becomes shocked by his discovery. On top of that, she had already exhausted her stamina trying to run from the imperial guards.
Ed sat down again and continued reading the hukan path till his mana proficiency reached 40%. His resolve collection proficiency rose steadily till it got to five percent. Gap stood silently behind him , waiting for whatever ed had in mind
"Why aren't you saying anything,young master..."
Ed turned back to her
"Oh... you didn't leave already?"

Gap silently stared at him ,short of words to say. Seconds later,ed turned back to her again, this time with a smile on his face.
"On a second thought,we should work together ... I need your help "
Gap ignored and struck the first blow, directly connecting to Ed's face. He didn't react but simply rose to his feet again
"For last time... I. Need your help"
Gap removed a dagger she had been hiding and slashed,to cut Ed's throat,but he dodges before kicking her back.

Gap runs towards him and slashes with a mana blade,but Ed jumps from the building without turning back. While he fell,he shoots a blast at her that was strong enough to rock the city, notifying Sally and the rest of her team.

Sally sat up immediately she sensed the attack. Since she knew it was her brothers,she decided to head there alone till the others sensed the impact.
Xing who was staying on the other side of the hotel exits, to look for Ed but runs into Arthur on his way out.
"Oh... young lady... what brings you here"
"Oh... I, um..."
"Oh,miss xing, did you bring the box"
Sally interrupts them to talk to xing. She didn't know that xing would be in the city but it seemed like she was with Ed so she didn't want Arthur to know.
Arthur greeted her and rushed to the others leaving them there.
"Sally... Thanks"
"Sure... Did you come with Ed?"
"Something like that... do you know where he is"
Xing explained their meeting at the entrance of the link and the message sent to her by him. She left out the part about the case given to her.
"If he said to wait at the entrance,then I feel that it's important so you should do that"
"Okay..."
Xing turns back and orders her guards to follow her back to the link. The black coats accompanying her followed her as per Ed's orders while she exited.
Ed managed to lose gap who was getting an edge over him thanks to her ability. He runs through a building and jumps to another as it explodes behind him. Using his advanced mana sense,he notices Sally's group approaching and stopped letting gap catch up to him.
"I gave you a chance but you didn't take it... it's too late"
"Teleport"
Ed vanishes, just as they reached the scene. While they surrounded her, Ed who's now standing at the apex of a tower exhales, exhausted from his battle. Her ability was one that gives her an edge the longer the fight progresses. After resting,he stands to his feet again.
"Now... My main purpose for coming to this world"
