Ed checks his status again for the skills he got.

Ed looks down from the tower waiting for a chance to slip away once the group trying to capture gap were distracted. His face became stern when he sensed a familiar energy.
"He's close..."
Ed jumps down and runs through the city till he got to a site where guards camped, just at the outskirts of the city. From the pressure in the security, he knew they were guarding something important.
"Hey, time to switch..."
Guards walked into the camp while other stepped out. The tent set in the middle was the only place closely guarded by the guards. Thanks to his newly obtained ability, bypassing the guards was a breeze.
Ed teleports to the entrance of the tent heavily guarded and walked in.

Back at the manor, Melissa walked into Ed's room with a briefcase that seemed to contain files,in addition to the materials he might need for the academy's opening ceremony. He arranged the file and dropped his materials on his bed.
Just then,a woman breaks into the room like she was in haste. She takes a quick glance to the table Melissa had arranged the files.
"You bitch... where are the files?"
"Huh?"
The woman throws a blade at Melissa, and it pierced her chest, pinning her to the wall. She moves to collect the files when Melissa responded to her.
"Oh well, you've did wrong..."
"Huh?... how are you—"
Melissa pointed the blade to her neck,as she wipes the blood on her face.
"First...you barged into the young master's room... Second,you attacked first..."
"Damn you—"
Melissa removes her head with one slash,and cleans off the blood from the sword before turning to the mirror in the room. Her clothes that were partly soaked in her blood shone brightly through the mirror and she sighed.
"This is scary..."
Melissa possessed a unique ability, one that negates any form of death if she's attacked first. Thanks to that, she survived the woman's attack in one piece. As she cleans the room, a thought crossed her mind
I wonder why the young master needs these files...

Ed stood in front of a young man,who seemed to be in his thirties. From their eyes to their statue,it was the same, hinting a chance of them being relatives.
"Oh... Edward"
"..."
Ed stood silently in front of the man. Not because he was powerless,but because of the power gap between them. His robes shined, through the torches lit up in the room. His smile that read disregard annoyed Ed the most
"Father..."
"Why did you return?...are you tired of running?"
They stared at each other, one with pride, the other with disgust. The man in front of Ed rose to his feet
"Why did you—"
"Autumn.d.angelo..."
Autumn stared down at him with a frown on his face. Ed could feel the murderous intent escaping from his energy. He calms down a second later and smiled.
"Why will you call your father's name like that..."
"I came to tell you something... Your plan won't work. I'll make sure about that. "
Seconds later,a knight and a prince walks in.
"Your majesty..."
The knight bows and the boy walks to Ed's side, ignoring his presence.
"Father..."
He took a quick glance at Ed and faced his father again.
"... why's this boy here?"
"Oh... he came to pay his respects"
The prince drops a message and turns back to leave,closely followed by the knight that escorted him. Autumn turns and smiles before sitting again.
"So the survey group have successfully captured gap... I guess it time to meet them"
He rose to his feet and walked past Ed. Before leaving the tent,he drops a message
"If you want revenge,you should become stronger first. You can't even beat a knight with that strength."
The emperor walks out, leaving Ed to his fate inside the camp. By now, his mind was full of nothing but anger against his father for unknown reasons.
Sally and the others got back to the hotel and met up with the emperor. Sally's gaze couldn't meet with the emperors',as it was filled with murderous intent against him.
Later that night,they went back to the hotel to prepare for their exit the next day. Ed met up with the black coats after arriving before them. They planned to leave after Sally's group so as to avoid the others. With their entrance exam fast approaching, Ed also had to sort out the things he would need.
"I haven't gotten a word from Melissa yet..."
The next day, Sally's group left for their world closely followed by the knights of the kingdom. While they left, Ed stayed behind for a while.
"We'll leave by noon..."
He wore the clothes he used to hide his face and prepared. Suddenly a knight comes running to him.
"Young master... here's what you asked me for"
"Oh... thanks Kang"
Kang places a recorder on his hands and falls to the ground. By then, Ed had realized that he was bleeding.
"Hey... "
"Oh I got caught trying to help you... I can't go back now"
"Follow me"
The knight rises to his feet and bows before smiling at Ed. He was Ed's childhood friend who sought the path of a knight and became one. He was one of Ed's escorts back when Ed still lived in this world. Ed didn't want to leave him behind and tried to recruit him into the black coats but he declined
"Young master, or should I say Ed,I hope we meet again in the other world."
Ed turned and left, beginning his journey to exit the world
