"WHAT?!" Evie screamed in shock, nearly falling off the chair she was sitting on.
She never thought such a situation could arise with the old elder, who had seemed healthy when he left the company with Eden yesterday. However, since the doctor needed her attention to convince him to take the treatment, she had to leave as soon as possible before it got too late.
"Send me the name and address of the hospital. I will be there fast." Evie said.
"Don't worry, I will send Eden to come pick you up immediately." He abruptly replied.
"Okay, thanks."
After the call ended, Evie closed her laptop, her motivation to work now eclipsed by the urgent call she received from Westley.
Slipping into the bathroom, she took a quick bath before rushing out to wear a simple dress. When she was done, she left the Yong's mansion without letting anyone know about her whereabouts.
