Dustin Brown, the second-oldest son of Westley's uncle, would be 29 in the next two months. Six months ago, after his father fell into a coma from a serious accident, Dustin was appointed vice president of the Brown Group, taking over his father's duties until his recovery. During his time at the Brown Group, he unexpectedly caught the attention of Alice, Westley's fiancée. That was why Westley's hatred for him was intensified.
Because of Dustin, Alice had broken off her engagement to him, clearing the way so that she and Dustin could be together and eventually marry. At least, that was what Westley believed. His face was etched with cold seriousness as Dustin bypassed him entirely, walking over to Evie with an amused grin.
Dustin took Evie's hand like a proper gentleman and gently planted a kiss on the back of it. "Nice to meet you, my lady," he said, his eyes locked onto hers. "What's your name?"
Noticing Westley's unfriendly face, Evie immediately withdrew her hand.
