The color drained completely from Eden's face, a sudden wave of fright paralyzing his posture. "Boss, I—I deeply apologize. My concern over your distress caused me to overstep my boundaries. I swear to you, it will never happen again."
Westley's piercing grey eyes bored into the back of the driver's head through the mirror. "I have zero use for your concern. This marks the second time you have seen fit to interfere in my private matters. Attempt it a third time, Eden, and I will personally ensure you live to regret the day you met me. Now keep your eyes locked on the asphalt and don't dare look at me through that rearview mirror again."
