Dr. June's eyes flashed. "You're being selfish, young man. It's completely inappropriate. Do you want me to leave my patient to die while I attend to your grandfather, just because you'll double his hospital bill? How can you suggest such a thing?" He paused. "That shows how ruthless you are. I don't know why spoiled rich brat like you from an elite family thinks they can bribe doctors with money and endanger a person's life for no reason."
Westley wasn't the least bothered by Dr. June's harsh words. He was used to them after all, so what was the point of his reacting to such?
He remained quiet.
Evie stood close to Dr. June. She implored. "I am so sorry for his attitude, sir. He's only desperate to save his grandfather, who is in bad health, that's why he spoke that way."
Adjusting his glasses, Dr. June stared at Westley. "Don't ever try that again, young man. Your sister is a good person for apologizing on your behalf. Learn from her meek behavior. It will help you greatly."
