The thought had crossed Roseanne's mind for a fleeting second when they met again but with the way Czar treated her, especially after they had spent the night together just a few days ago, the idea that he could be involved with another woman hadn't returned since.
Until now.
After accidentally overhearing the marriage arrangement from Frederic and David, she had pressed them for details. They gave her nothing but stiff expressions and vague answers. Not surprising. They wouldn't want to expose their boss's secrets.
Which was exactly why she sat uncomfortably, itching to get back to the mansion soon. Being here felt wrong now that she knew everyone here could possibly question her identity knowing that their boss had already had a fiancée.
It didn't take long.
A few minutes passed before the door finally opened. Soren stepped out and informed her that Czar had finished his meeting and was already waiting in the car, ready to head back to the mansion.
