Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: What is a hardcore MC player?

"Could this be… turning my last words into a modpack?"

Thinking of this, Allen Walker was also stunned.

This was too messed up! If he had known, he would have talked more back then. Putting aside other mods, at least he should have added a mod like Equivalent Exchange before dying, right?

Standing still and contemplating for a moment, Allen Walker finally sighed helplessly: "Sigh, whatever, at least they didn't add Terrafirmacraft."

Since Allen Walker had awakened a Steve as his Stand, rather than transforming into Steve himself, he could now multitask. It was like playing a game; Steve was chopping trees over there, while he himself pondered the future impact of those mods.

Allen Walker was quite familiar with the Pam's HarvestCraft mod. He frequently encountered it when playing on servers before. It was basically a fun mod that added new crops, cooking utensils, and food recipes.

But for Allen Walker, this was not good news.

Because while Pam's HarvestCraft added a large number of new food recipes to the game, it severely reduced the saturation of the original ingredients.

The easier a food item was to obtain in the game, such as potatoes, apples, or carrots, the less hunger it would restore. Unless you were willing to spend a lot of time crafting a set of pam's harvestcraft cooking utensils and then cooking simple ingredients into exquisite dishes.

But the current problem was…

Allen Walker couldn't remember any of pam's harvestcraft's crafting recipes!

If he were in the game, Allen Walker could just look up a guide. But now that he was in the Minecraft World himself, what good was looking up a guide?

Allen Walker stated that he was a normal person. Aside from the more commonly used crafting recipes from the vanilla game, he couldn't remember any other complex crafting recipes. After all, those mods added thousands of crafting recipes to the game. If someone could remember all of them, they might have a serious mental illness.

"I was too careless."

Upon realizing that he couldn't check crafting recipes, Allen Walker instantly felt numb: "If only I had asked for JEI or NEI before I died. Even a G-key crafting table would have been fine…"

Actually, Pam's HarvestCraft wasn't too bad.

After all, Allen Walker used to be too lazy to play with this mod anyway. At most, he'd just get more potatoes. If three baked potatoes weren't enough, he'd eat ten, right?

What really gave Allen Walker a headache were the other mods.

Like Avaritia, for example.

Without a crafting recipe list, just the recipe for the Endless Catalyst would be enough to make Allen Walker die on the spot.

While Allen Walker was worrying about crafting recipes, his Stand had been diligently chopping trees. And because Steve chopped trees as fast as in the game, his backpack was full in no time.

Noticing this, Allen Walker had no choice but to temporarily set aside his dilemma about crafting recipes and start organizing his backpack.

After a period of hard work, Steve's backpack now contained about seven stacks of wood, more than half a stack of cobblestone, a few stone pickaxes, and as for the rest… it was basically all sorts of fruits and vegetables from pam's harvestcraft.

At the same time, night had completely fallen.

Faint, low whimpers could be heard in the forest, along with some clacking sounds like bones colliding.

Upon hearing this sound, Allen Walker reacted. He had clearly been in a daze for too long, ignoring the arrival of night, so now monsters were starting to spawn around him.

Perhaps for a novice, the first night in the Minecraft World was very dangerous.

The Zombies hidden in the darkness seemed endless, and the cold arrows from skeleton archers always caught people off guard.

Not to mention those silent Creepers. Once they started hissing, only one outcome awaited the novices… they would be blown to smithereens.

However, such a scene could only happen to novices at most.

As for Allen Walker…

Who was Allen Walker?

An avid Minecraft player, a human meat grinder, the number one war god on the entire server!

Emmm…

Dig a three-block hole and fill one block, understand?

Seeing the eerie monster shadows in the surrounding forest, Allen Walker, without another word, immediately controlled Steve to dig a three-block high hole on the spot, then stepped onto Steve's shoulders and jumped in.

There was no other way. After all, the blocks in the Minecraft World were all super-sized, one meter by one meter. Steve could jump directly into this three-meter-high hole, but Allen Walker couldn't quite manage it.

However, once he jumped into the hole, this simple Underground Room was officially completed.

The entire process didn't even take more than ten seconds!

Of course, Allen Walker didn't plan to squeeze into this small space with Steve for an entire night. So, after sealing the hole above his head, he immediately controlled Steve to dig out the surrounding space.

After digging for a while, Allen Walker got a simple Underground Room.

It was about three meters high, twelve meters long, and nine meters wide.

Allen Walker had always been a pragmatist. Moreover, it was still the early stage of development. Wanting to build a big house while being completely naked was simply being full of oneself. For him, just digging a casual Underground Room to make do was enough.

At this moment, the Underground Room was messy with torches stuck everywhere. On the left, there was a workbench, and a few furnaces and chests.

As for the right side… it was covered with a 9x9 layer of dirt. Allen Walker planned to convert this into an Underground Farm later and grow some potatoes to fill his stomach.

After briefly organizing his items, Allen Walker immediately chose to go mining.

While digging the Underground Room earlier, he had accumulated a large amount of cobblestone, and he had also conveniently used the furnace to smelt a stack of charcoal. Now Steve's backpack contained a full four stacks of torches and more than ten stone pickaxes, so mining would definitely be a blast.

As for the remaining space in the backpack… it was basically all filled with pam's harvestcraft ingredients.

And that's where the pam's harvestcraft mod was tricky.

At first glance, Allen Walker seemed to have brought a lot of vegetables and fruits, which seemed quite filling. However, eating one of these only restored 1 hunger point, and there were many different kinds, taking up a lot of backpack space, such as grapes, blueberries, cabbage, tomatoes, broccoli, and a whole bunch of other random stuff.

Allen Walker wondered if he was going mining or camping?

Shaking his head, Allen Walker controlled Steve to eat seven blueberries to fully restore his hunger, and then he started digging the mine.

Allen Walker's mine extended diagonally downwards. When it reached near bedrock, it would expand outwards in a fishbone shape. This was the most cost-effective approach, as it allowed him to mine iron ore and also locate diamonds in advance.

However, what Allen Walker didn't expect was that after only about twenty swings, his stone pickaxe suddenly swung into empty space.

A large natural cave directly appeared before his eyes.

"Hmm?"

Seeing this, Allen Walker was also stunned.

Using the faint glow of the torches on the wall, Allen Walker vaguely saw several iron ore blocks in the cave.

Actually, exploring a cave naked was quite irrational, as caves were so dark and often spawned monsters, which was very dangerous for Steve without armor.

However, Allen Walker was an experienced miner, so he had some confidence.

He first controlled Steve to place some torches in the cave. After observing the general terrain, he then walked over and began to mine the iron ore.

Soon, Steve's backpack had a little less than half a stack of iron ore.

After obtaining the iron ore, Allen Walker wasn't greedy. He immediately returned to the Underground Room to smelt it, crafting a full set of iron armor, an iron sword, and a shield, almost literally arming Steve to the Kiba.

With this set of equipment, Allen Walker finally let out a long sigh of relief.

Now he finally had some ability to protect himself.

Controlling Steve to eat six bunches of grapes and two cucumbers to replenish his hunger, Allen Walker returned to the underground World.

However, Allen Walker's luck seemed to be ridiculously good. After digging through the previous cave, Allen Walker originally intended to continue towards bedrock, but before long, he suddenly dug into a mossy stone block.

And beneath this mossy stone, faint, low whimpers of monsters could be heard.

"…Holy cow, no way?"

Seeing this, Allen Walker couldn't help but show a surprised expression: "A dungeon?"
