Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Arc Reactor, Lucky Block, and Chaos Begins

Tony Stark never thought he would encounter such a terrifying crisis.

It was supposed to be a very ordinary military exercise, but he was attacked by Terrorists.

Not only was he kidnapped to a dark cave, but an electromagnet was also inserted into his chest, using a weak magnetic force to attract bomb fragments in his body, preventing them from piercing his heart.

But before he could accept this fact, a group of Terrorists rushed in and began to torture him, ordering him to produce some Jericho missile.

Just when Stark didn't know if he could survive, when he was most confused and most afraid, a man claiming to be a Stand user suddenly appeared, using a strange method he couldn't understand to kill all the Terrorists, and then said he wanted to take him out of this ghost place.

To be honest, Stark was a little scared.

He didn't know if this person was trustworthy, but he had to escape immediately.

According to Allen Walker, the Terrorists had all been dealt with, and Stark could leave anytime if he wanted to.

But only Stark himself knew what a huge hidden danger the electromagnet in his chest was; if the car battery, which served as its power source, short-circuited, he would instantly die.

So, for the sake of his life, Stark had no choice but to create a new energy source for himself.

Fortunately, there were plenty of materials here, and with Yinsen willing to act as his assistant, Stark quickly completed the first step in creating the new energy source: extracting 1.6 grams of palladium metal from a pile of missiles.

However, just as Stark was about to melt these palladium metals in a crucible, Allen Walker, who was hiding nearby studying the Stand, suddenly froze, because an electronic prompt sounded in his mind.

System Prompt: Detected new mod feature. Download permission can be obtained after research.

"New mod feature? What's that?"

Allen Walker was startled and immediately asked.

However, the electronic voice did not answer him at all. Fortunately, Allen Walker now understood that this system-like electronic voice had no intelligence and could not communicate. It would only pop up a prompt or something when he triggered certain specific conditions.

"What?"

Stark, who was fiddling with the crucible, seemed to hear something, looked up, and asked, "Are you talking to me?"

"Something like that."

Upon hearing this, Allen Walker walked towards Stark's location, suspecting that this new mod feature might have something to do with him, so he directly asked, "What are you doing?"

"Melting these palladium metals."

Stark placed the crucible on the fire and explained, "To make a miniature reactor, I need to first cast a palladium ring."

"Reactor, huh..."

Allen Walker looked at the gradually melting liquid palladium in the crucible and, for some reason, suddenly thought of when he played an industrial mod with his friends before. Because of his foolishness, he accidentally took a Uranium-235 particle and was tormented by the radiation debuff. At this moment, he unconsciously said, "Good heavens... you're planning to share the radiation, aren't you?"

"Huh?"

Stark was stunned, "What did you say?"

And at this moment, Yinsen also happened to walk over with the newly made sand mold, "What's wrong? I just heard you two discussing something?"

"Yinsen, look, Stark is already making soup."

Allen Walker immediately turned to Yinsen and said, "He's already trying to kill himself in fancy ways. As a Doctor, aren't you going to stop him?"

...Making soup?

Yinsen was also confused upon hearing this and looked at Stark questioningly, "What kind of soup are you making?"

"Authentic Tritium dish." Before Stark could answer, Allen Walker deliberately gave a thumbs-up, "It has a delicious, radiant aroma."

"Don't listen to his nonsense."

Stark quickly explained, "I'm just trying to make a small arc generator. This thing is very safe. My company has a super-large one. Yinsen, your hand should be very steady, come and help me cast the palladium ring."

"I just posed a challenge to everyone, asking them to find a way to fill the entire cave." Seeing that Stark ignored him, Allen Walker continued to play with the radiation meme, "First, I killed all the Terrorists myself, but the corpses only covered the ground. Then Yinsen lit candles, but the cave still had shadows... Only the smartest Stark, he cast a small reactor coil with palladium, and the radiation instantly filled the entire cave."

"Palladium is just a heavy metal; it's not radioactive!"

Stark finally couldn't help but retort, "The reactor I want to make doesn't rely on fission energy at all. It relies on a cold fusion energy generation that uses palladium to adsorb hydrogen isotopes. You, a wizard, shouldn't talk nonsense if you don't understand..."

"Ah?"

Hearing this, Allen Walker was also stunned, "Isn't palladium a radioactive metal?"

"That's called a radioactive element."

Stark weakly rubbed his forehead, "Forget it, I'm too lazy to explain this to you. You probably don't even understand the difference between electromagnetic radiation and ionizing radiation. Yinsen, come and help me cast the coil..."

"Alright."

Yinsen didn't quite understand either, but he didn't care about these things anyway. After hearing Stark call him, he immediately started working seriously.

He used fire tongs to clamp the hot crucible and then began to pour the molten palladium into the sand mold.

And just as the hot liquid metal was poured into the mold, an electronic prompt suddenly sounded again in Allen Walker's mind.

System Prompt: Researched 'melting' and 'casting' behaviors. You have obtained download permission for a new mod.

System Prompt: Tinkers' Construct is starting to download.

???

Upon hearing this prompt, Allen Walker's eyes widened in shock.

He finally understood now; it turned out that his integrated pack could actually have mods added to it.

As early as when the localization mod suddenly appeared, he had considered this issue. Now it seems that his guess was indeed correct. Although he was not sure how this ability to add mods was triggered, it was at least a good thing. If he could find a way to add a mod like 'Return Home', wouldn't he be able to return to the Minecraft World?

Thinking of this, Allen Walker also became a little excited.

Stark had just cast the palladium ring, and there was still a long time before the entire reactor would be completed.

Taking advantage of this time, Allen Walker also quickly tried to research how to add mods, for example, by silently repeating a thousand times in his mind, 'I've watched Fullmetal Alchemist, I want the Equivalent Exchange mod,' but unfortunately, the results were not ideal.

Seeing that adding mods was hopeless, Allen Walker had no choice but to first research the lucky block.

Compared to the mod adding function whose trigger mechanism was unknown, the usage of the lucky block was much simpler. Allen Walker just had Steve right-click the item, and the next second, a white light flashed, and the lucky block disappeared.

In its place was a crystal-clear blade.

"Hmm? What is this?"

Allen Walker only took one look and instantly recognized the origin of this sword.

This sword came from one of Allen Walker's favorite mods, the Twilight Forest mod, specifically the Glass Sword, which could only be obtained with a chance in the Aurora Palace of the glaciers.

This sword had a high damage of 40 points, but its only drawback was that it only had 1 point of durability.

It was as sharp as glass, but also as fragile as glass.

But Allen Walker's attention was not here.

"It actually drew an item from another mod." Allen Walker stroked his chin thoughtfully, "I haven't loaded the Twilight Forest mod yet, but I drew its Glass Sword... Does this lucky block really draw items from all mods?"

If it could really draw items from all mods, then this lucky block would be truly terrifying.

After all, there are so many mods for the game Minecraft, and among them, there are quite a few super weapons, such as infinitely proliferating bacteria, bombs that can shatter chunks, or hot spring machines that can flood the World. You can easily find a whole bunch of them.

It's just a pity that this lucky block was given by the system, and Allen Walker wasn't sure about its judgment rules.

Was it a repeatable reward, where he could claim a reward every time he ran a new mod, or was it a one-time reward, where he wouldn't get any more rewards after claiming it once?

And as if to verify Allen Walker's conjecture, an electronic sound suddenly rang in his mind.

System Prompt: Tinkers' Construct download complete. Load now?

"Oh, this..."

Allen Walker was stunned for a moment, then immediately agreed, "Load it quickly."

System Prompt: Tinkers' Construct loaded successfully.

System Prompt: Since you have downloaded and run a brand new mod, you have received a lucky block. This lucky block will randomly draw an item from any known mod.

Along with a series of system prompts, a lucky block reappeared in Steve's inventory.

"Holy cow, it really works?"

Seeing the colorful lucky block, Allen Walker was also pleasantly surprised.

In his excitement, Allen Walker quickly ordered Steve to open the lucky block. This time, a white light flashed, and a purple, claw-like object appeared directly in Steve's hand.

"What's this?"

Upon seeing the new item, Allen Walker also curiously examined it.

This was an item called Ender Hand. Allen Walker thought back for a moment and realized that this seemed to be an item from the mutant creatures mod. Left-clicking could directly attack monsters, and right-clicking could make a block float in the air, which could then be thrown to smash monsters. Of course, the most awesome thing was SHIFT + right-click, which allowed the player to teleport.

"This... This is truly a treasure."

Looking at the purple claw in Steve's hand, Allen Walker was visibly surprised.
