Chapter 29
"I'm pregnant, James," someone said from the show my mum was watching.
The clock ticked steadily but slowly, I wondered if today was ever going to come to an end. I hurriedly washed the dishes, rinsing the last plate, before drying and storing them on the shelf.
I wiped my hand dry before pulling out my phone from my pocket.
Nothing
It had been weeks since I heard from Matthew, as much as I was enjoying the free time I had to myself, I kind of felt like something was off.
The sound of bells jingling from the movie my mum was watching was kind of fitting as it was almost Christmas.
She reminded me that I had to go stock up on groceries before everything was cleared off the shelves by people with way too much festive spirit.
Going up to my room, I brought out my yoga mat and some lavender and peppermint scented candles lighting them as I pulled out some incense from my drawer to burn.
I rarely had time to do yoga but whenever I did I always went all out.
