Hardly the first week into summer break, I woke up one day to find an email in my inbox from I-Island.
I know I shouldn't be surprised. Bakugo winning the Sports Festival is how he got onto the island in canon, I think? So I wasn't too shocked to get it. What was shocking, or at least surprising, was how a few minutes later, Momo texted me to see if I wanted to go with her family to the Expo.
I politely told her no since I was going my own way in, but I still had to figure out who I was going to bring. I decided on Sasha and Shoto, since the event organizers gave me two tickets, and we got to packing again since it was a little over a month away.

By the time the Expo rolled around, it was getting closer and closer to the date Aizawa said the summer camp might happen. I really hoped he might push it back after this mess since I knew what was going to happen, but knowing him, I was out of luck.
The flight from Japan to I-Island was actually pretty nice. I'd been ready to spend the entire flight watching movies on my phone and napping, but Shoto somehow convinced his dad, the guy he goes out of his way to avoid, to let him use the private jet Endeavor uses for big events around the world.
I'd nearly lost my mind when I saw the thing, but Shoto and Sasha took one look at it and dragged me up. He then explained that, despite not spending much on certain things, Endeavor and, by extension, the Todoroki's were very wealthy.
Not Yaoyorozu wealthy, not even close, but still enough to own a plane and the second biggest hero agency in Japan. I decided to roll with it and enjoy the ride. The plane had plenty of space for the three of us. I'm sure we could have brought more people, but I only had two extra tickets.
I spent the entire flight with Sasha watching Star Wars. She had been wondering why I was so obsessed with it, and so I gladly took the chance to show her my favorite universe. I started with A New Hope, before switching to the Prequels.
We only finished up to Attack of the Clones before I jumped over to the Clone Wars show, letting her get attached to Anakin, before it all went down the drain. We didn't finish the show by the time we reached the Island, but she was hooked.
Since the I-Island Expo was such a big event, the plane couldn't stay since so many others were arriving as well. We'd actually arrived a day before everything so that we could look around the island and enjoy the sights.
Poor Shoto ended up being the third wheel, since Sasha and I just kinda did whatever. He didn't seem to mind, I think, and we kept him fed and let him choose every other attraction we went to, and that seemed to keep him happy.
We weren't the only ones from 1-A here this early either; Momo had arrived with Toru, Mina, and Ochaco. At first, I'd wondered how she got an extra ticket, then I remembered she's super rich and ignored it.
Sasha ended up splitting from us to go have girl time as Shoto, and I just walked around aimlessly. We saw some other guys from class as well, Bakugo and Kirishima, Kaminari working in a cafe, and I even spotted Jiro at some point.
After a few hours of this though, we got pretty tired, so we decided to crash in the hotel room until it was time for the opening event. Yeah, when I said we were a day early, I meant we got here maybe 12 hours before it started, at midnight.
We actually ran into Izuku once we made it to the hotel, with All Might covered in steam next to him, and a middle-aged man with a girl our age talking to them. "Ah, young Shoto! Young Micah! What a pleasant surprise!" All Might boomed.
He then introduced the pair he was talking to, "This is an old friend of mine who's a researcher here, David Shield. He was actually my first sidekick when I was in America!" David shook our hands and introduced his daughter, Melissa.
She was a pretty girl, with long blonde hair and blue eyes that Izuku seemed to be getting lost in. She didn't notice yet, however, as she was bombarding Shoto with questions on how his quirk worked, so I kicked Izuku.
"Ow, what was that for?!" Izuku whined as I gave him a look. "Dude, you already get stuck when you see Ochaco, don't add more girls into the mix. Bruh!" Izuku's face flushed as he tried to deflect, but I had bigger things to worry about.
"So, how does your quirk function? I noticed during the Sports festival that you don't seem to have a limit on how much fire you can use. Do you create new fire, or does it come from your wings? Do your back muscles ever get tired from flapping so much?" She asked as I got Nejire-shaped flashbacks.
"Um, I can fly around and use fire, I guess? There is actually a limit to my fire usage since I get tired after so much use, but it's a pretty high ceiling. As for creating, I don't actually know if I'm the one making the fire or if it's just getting drawn out from my wings.
I do get tired after a few hours of flying, though, really sore back."
"OH ok. I wondered why you were able to fly all the way through the obstacle course without having to land."
"Yeah, I've done a lot of endurance training so that I don't get grounded. I'd be ok, but I'd rather avoid such a situation."
Before she could ask her next question, something familiar slammed into my back as I nearly fell over. "Found you!" Sasha exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around me. I propped myself back up and brought my wings out to smack Sasha as she skipped around me and towards Melissa.
"Hi, nice to meet you!" She switched to English when she stopped in front of the blonde. "Oh, hello! My name's Melissa, what's yours?" "Sasha!" They started firing off a barrage of questions as Momo and the other girls showed up as well.
"I guess you all had fun?" I questioned, and Momo nodded. "Very much, we toured most of the venue and are heading to our rooms to get ready for the opening event tonight." I glanced over to see Ochaco grilling Izuku about Melissa and almost felt sorry for him.
"Yeah, Shoto and I were doing the same before we ran into Izuku and All Might. We got to meet his old sidekick, David Shield, and his daughter as well. I think she's occupied with Sasha right now, though."
We both turned and saw Melissa being assaulted with questions from both Mina and Sasha as she struggled to keep up. I almost felt sorry for her, but better Sasha mess with her than me. "Anyway, I'm going to relax before getting ready, see you guys later." I waved to Momo and dragged Shoto with me as we left the now crowded hall behind.
(A few hours later . . .)
We'd only lazed around for a bout two hours before we started getting ready for the event. Shoto was dressed in a white suit with matching pants; he paired it with a blue shirt and a red tie. I wore the same with a different color scheme: a black suit and pants, a red tie, and a burgundy vest.
We looked pretty good, if I do say so myself.
We then left to meet up with everyone else. I was looking forward to seeing what outfit Sasha chose, but I also kept in mind that there was going to be a villain attack. I knew less about this than the rest of the series, unfortunately. The extent of my knowledge was that there was an attack, and that was it.
I tried to keep an eye out as we met with the others, but with how massive the tower was, it was getting difficult. We eventually found the others, well, most of them. "Have either of you been in contact with Bakugo or Kirishima?" Ida asked as soon as we rounded the corner.
"No, we haven't," Shoto said as Izuku looked worried. I was too busy checking out Sasha's dress as she sauntered closer. "Like it?" She grinned as she struck a pose, "Yeah, it looks really good."
Her dress was vaguely familiar, then I remembered where I'd seen it last. "It's something my mom gave me from Night City. She called it a Phoenix dress, pretty cool, huh?" I nodded. I'd never realized how well she could wear red.

Before we can say anything else, alarms start screaming as the security system activates. "What's going on?" "It's the security alarm! Someone must have broken in!" Melissa exclaims as we move out of the corridor.
We then reach a massive glass window that lets us look down from the third floor to where the event has started, and where everyone else is being held hostage. "All Might!" Izuku cries, but I drag him away from the window so he isn't seen.
I then turn to Jiro as Melissa tries to hack into the system remotely. "Use your quirk to try and listen in." She looks unconvinced but moves to try as I check my phone and see the signal's been cut.
"So what's the plan?" Sasha asks as I see Izuku muttering up a storm as Melissa fails to breach the system again. "I need to get to the security system's main servers to shut this down. It's at the top of the tower." Melissa says as she fails to notice her father being dragged away by the villains.
"Sasha, go with them. You're good with computers, so you help them while I get us a distraction." She whirls around to glare at me. "No, you don't!" She hissed and grabbed me by the collar.
"Last time I left you alone, you nearly died! You think I'm letting you be a distraction, again?" I nodded. "Yes, because I'm going to free All Might." Izuku and Jiro were busy filling in All Might, who'd noticed them in the window. He wasn't happy about it, but he knew they didn't have any other choice.
"I know you hate it, but we don't have any other choice. They need you for your techno wizardry, and I'm needed to free the others." I took her hand and squeezed it as she calmed down slightly. "I'm not going to fight the bad guys; that's Izuku and All Might's game. All I'm doing is freeing him and keeping hostages safe."
"Promise? No heroics?" "I promise."
I almost chased after Sasha when she followed the others to scale the tower, I really did. I had something else to do, however, so I turned to the window and did the math. About 15 heroes were being held down below; the one I needed most was All Might.
Problem, he's surrounded by three goons with guns and quirks pointed at him. Solution, blaze down and cause a distraction while freeing him and letting him go to work. Problem, another 10 armed men are aiming at the crowd. Solution?
I took a deep breath, in and out, as I backed away from the window. I could already hear Sasha and Momo getting onto me for this, but it was the best plan I could think of, so that's what I'm going with.
I grinned as the familiar rush of Desperation washed over me. Seems the number of dangerous villains below was giving me a good boost. I ignored it as my wings burst out of my suit and I shot towards the glass.
It shattered with a loud crack as every set of eyes below snapped towards me. I didn't stop there; I formed a massive wall of flames that blasted down towards the various villains. In their panic, the fear of burning overrode their orders as they turned their guns away from the people and towards me, a big mistake.
All Might effortlessly burst from his bindings and leapt across the room. He disarmed and immobilized every villain he could, as the other heroes broke free as well. I let the flames disperse as I touched down.
"Not bad, young Micah! Maybe next time, rely on your friends for help as well." All Might's voice rattled me with its volume as he checked on everyone and made sure the villains were tied up properly.
"All Might, the others are scaling the tower to get Melissa and Sasha to the top. They can take control of everything from there. They're also looking for Kirishima and Bakugo, but they should be fine.
We need to get to the top of the tower quickly. I'm pretty sure the main villain took David up there as well." I said as fast as I could as All Might nodded seriously.
"A wise strategy. Let's hurry up and finish this." He marched out of the exit as I felt the tower itself tremble. Wolfram must be moving now. As we get outside, I spread my wings to go up, when All Might grabs me by the shoulder. "Don't worry, I know a shortcut!"
The air then leaves my lungs as All Might leaps upwards. Imagine being on one of those towers that go really high before suddenly dropping you, but in reverse. Not fun. I heard the air snap beneath me as All Might kicked off of it to get even higher.
When he finally reached the top of the tower, I crumbled to my knees, gasping for air as All Might leapt into battle. I felt a pair of hands drag me away from the helipad we'd landed on as All Might and Izuku threw hands.
"You idiot! I told you not to do anything stupid!" Sasha yelled in my ear as she kissed my face over and over. Melissa didn't even look bothered; she was more focused on her father being shoved into a helicopter by Wolfram's men.
Seeing the briefcase containing the quirk amplifier, I pry Sasha off of me and leap towards it. Wolfram must have spotted me since a slew of iron pillars tries to crush me, but the heat from the fire around me turns them to molten slag before they can reach me.
All Might uses the distraction to slam a fist into Wolfram's gut as I reach the helicopter, where his men turn their guns on me. The Guardian shield snaps up as bullets ping off it. I don't slow down as I slam into the chopper.
I set the two men shooting at me ablaze as I reach in and grab David and the briefcase. Desperation suddenly kicks into overdrive as the chopper starts to crumble around me, as Wolfram tries to crush me and the Professor.
Before I can react, David kicks open the briefcase and grabs the Quirk Amplification Device, and puts it on my head. The rush from Desperation fades quickly as bubbling fire builds up rapidly within me. "What did you do?!" I manage to shout at David before my body sets itself ablaze.
The helicopter melts around me, as a shield of burning red flames shields David from the molten slag. I emerge from the flames, burning within and without as I set my eyes on Wolfram, who has stopped choking All Might to stare at me in shock.
I don't wait for him to snap out of it, as I blaze a path towards him. He drops All Might, who leaps away as Wolfram nearly rips the entire roof off to try and slow me down. It does nothing to stop me. I form my burning set of armor around me, much easier this time, as I punch Wolfram in the face.
He grits his teeth in pain, but the boost from All For One is still going strong as he fights back despite the pain. All Might and Izuku quickly join me as we beat Wolfram back and away from Melissa and David.
"That's it! EVERYONE DIES NOW!" Wolfram roars as the tower shakes and trembles. Entire sheets of iron and metal rip off the tower and the roofs around us as Wolfram tries to crush us. Shoto and Bakugo chose that moment to step in and destroy as much as they could.
"You two finish him. I'll clear the way." I call towards Izuku and All Might as I turn my flames on the mass of metal bearing down on us. Even with the first layer melting under the heat, the sheer mass of it all keeps it going as I let loose.
The flames pouring from my body go from bright red to blue as I form an even bigger set of armor around me. "For the Emperor!" I can't help but yell as Aegis Pattern Terminator Armor blazes into being around me.
I slam into the mass of metal, flaming claws tearing through everything I can reach as I do my best to keep everyone safe. Even surrounded by this mass of metal and covered by armor thicker than my leg, I can still feel the shockwaves from All Might and Wolfram's fight.
Even as the metal tries to suffocate me, I'm still glad I chose this rather than facing Wolfram. Though after today, I'm sure All For One would start making plans for me, which meant it was probably time to tell Nezu everything I could.
For now, though, I had a cube of metal to burn. With Shoto's ice and Bakugo's explosions, we'd done away with one mass of metal; now we had to deal with the massive cube about to crush the entire tower.
"Since when could you fucking do this?!" Bakugo shouted at me, but I ignored him as I saw the forms of Izuku and All Might shoot up towards the cube. Even from down here, I could still feel the pressure from their combined blow as their war cry reached us.
"GO BEYOND, PLUS ULTRA!"

In the aftermath of Wolfram's attack on I-Island, Class 1-A was given a bunch of awards and money for helping save the day. Ochako and Izuku had been particularly happy to get the money since they cared more for their family than themselves at times.
Of course, Sasha tried her best to pry me out of the Terminator Amor, but it took David and a whole cadre of technicians to take the device off my head. Despite being a prototype, he was very happy with how it held up, even if I'd burned a few circuits within.
David had tried to give it to All Might, as he'd originally intended, but All Might refused. "My time in the hero world is coming to an end. I've had fun for decades now, but it's time to pass the torch to these young heroes!"
David had ultimately relented, but I could tell he wasn't happy about it. Surprisingly, he gave me the device. "I'm sure you're very confused, but hear me out first. I've poured most of my life into three things: All Might, Melissa, and this. I'd much rather trust the young man who saved all three of those with this than the board who'll just lock it away forever."
I really didn't want to take the device, but David, Melissa, Izuku, and even All Might voluntold me to keep it safe. So now I had it in a secure holding case that would never leave my side, no matter what, yay?
Side note, I got more tickets!
Turns out saving people from a metal-bending monster is pretty cool, so I got plenty of tickets this time.

This would be very useful. Imagine if I gave say, Corpus Weapon to Hawks, then I'd be able to call him in if I got cornered by All For One, or he could be used in other ways. Maybe I could Knight Stars and Stripe . . .

You can also use them as transportation by riding the floating skull or as a defense by summoning one in front of you to take the blow.
I know I said it was over when I got the pearls, but THIS, is game-changing. I can't think of the top of my head ANYONE who could tank a hit from one of these things, at least in MHA. Add Six Eyes, and I'm not missing, it's so joever.
