That was the main reason why she was dealing with George Parker so carefully. She didn't want any unnecessary attention from the British or the American secret freak society at the moment.

While getting dressed for the party, Hancock recalled her brief meeting with George Parker the previous day. It was strange but when she had tried to read exactly what were the emotions George was feeling except for lust, she had found an irregularity in his emotional patterns.
