It was 5:12 AM, and I hadn't slept a minute.
The couch was comfortable, the living room warm. I was exhausted from all the crying and the emotional roller coaster I'd been through.
But it wasn't enough to let me sink into sleep.
Euphoria.
That was the only thing I could think of.
Not for Maki, not for the show, but I—
Just wanted to be away from this world.
I went upstairs to my room, and found that Senne wasn't around. She was probably under the bed, but I didn't have the courage to look.
I noticed that she had eaten the marmalade toast after all. The empty plate was put on my desk, the white porcelain reflecting the last of the moon as the night was coming to an end.
I picked up my VR headset and sat on my chair. I plugged in the earbuds and turned it on. There was no need to flick through anything else. I moved the right hand controller to open up the Euphoria app.
