The next day, Senne wanted to go out again.
I wasn't particularly keen on the idea, still reeling from the catastrophe of the day before, but I also knew staying in my room stuck with her for the whole day might be even more unbearable.
So out we went.
It was another hot day. The heat this summer was particularly intense, so much so that this time even I didn't wear my hoodie and made do with just a baseball cap.
Just as we were walking around aimlessly, which seemed to be exactly what Senne wanted, I got a message from Karuhi. The DM simply read 'Would you like to meet up today?'
By this time I had already indulged Senne prancing around—as if nothing happened the day before—for nearly two hours, so I decided to meet up with her. At least being in a public place where there were many other people around would keep Senne quiet for a while, I thought.
Karuhi sent me a map link to a cafe where she'd be waiting, which happened to be within walking distance, so off we went.
