Chapter 20: The Red Eyes
From the portal, all kinds of villains began pouring out.
They walked forward step by step, slowly approaching the students.
"Are they stupid?" Kirishima Eijiro muttered as cold sweat ran down his forehead.
"This is U.A. High School—a place full of professional heroes. Aren't they afraid of getting crushed?"
"Teacher, what about the security sensors that detect intruders?" Yaoyorozu Momo asked as she stepped forward.
"I'm not sure whether they only appeared here or across the entire school," Shoto Todoroki said calmly as he analyzed the situation.
"But if the sensors haven't reacted, then someone among them probably has a Quirk that interferes with them."
"This attack seems carefully planned."
"A coordinated enemy operation."
"Thirteen," Aizawa Shouta said as he pulled down his goggles, his voice completely serious.
"Start evacuating the students and try contacting the school."
"The villains already accounted for the sensor system. Someone among them must be interfering with communications."
"Kaminari, try to contact the outside using your Quirk."
Then he glanced at Izuna.
"Uchiha—come here."
"Huh?"
Izuna was briefly surprised before stepping forward.
"Your Quirk is hypnosis," Aizawa said quickly while watching the villains approach.
"What's your limit?"
"…How many do you need?" Izuna asked calmly.
Aizawa paused for a moment.
"Don't tell me you don't know your own limits."
"That's not it," Izuna replied as he stepped beside him, ignoring the worried look on Momo's face.
"If you want…"
"I can hypnotize all of them."
"…And the side effects?" Aizawa asked immediately.
Powerful Quirks usually had drawbacks.
Even though Izuna's report stated there were none, Aizawa still wanted confirmation.
"None."
"Good."
"Then hypnotize all of them."
The moment Aizawa finished speaking—
Izuna's eyes changed dramatically.
His dark pupils vanished, replaced by deep scarlet eyes.
At the front of the villain group, their leader immediately noticed him.
"Red eyes?" Tomura Shigaraki muttered as he leaned forward slightly.
"His Quirk looks similar to Eraser Head's."
"But it doesn't matter."
"Even if it's erased, my little soldiers should still be enough to handle them."
Below, one of the villains grinned maliciously.
"Is U.A. really this empty?"
"They're sending kids to fight us?"
"Perfect."
"We'll use this brat to crush U.A.'s pride."
Behind them, Izuku Midoriya looked extremely worried.
"Teacher… is this really okay?"
"Students aren't allowed to use their Quirks freely without a hero license."
"And Uchiha…"
"It's fine," Izuna said calmly, interrupting Midoriya.
The three tomoe in his eyes slowly began to rotate.
In the next instant—
It felt as if time itself had stopped.
Every villain below froze in place.
Like puppets whose strings had been cut.
Not a single one moved.
Genjutsu could be cast through many mediums.
The Sharingan was only one of them.
What Izuna did now was simply inject chakra into their bodies, disrupting their perception.
He slowly lifted his gaze toward Tomura Shigaraki.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
Clearly—
Izuna had not pulled Shigaraki into the illusion.
Shigaraki and the figure beside him immediately noticed the situation.
"…That's insane."
Kirishima stared at the frozen crowd below in shock.
"He hypnotized all of them at once?!"
"Good work, Uchiha," Aizawa said quietly.
In the next moment, he jumped directly into the middle of the immobilized villains.
Using his capture weapon, he began binding them rapidly.
Just like that—
The number of active villains quickly began decreasing.
"As All Might said before," Aizawa muttered as he worked,
"In real combat, hypnosis can be extremely powerful."
Watching the villains being restrained one after another, Aizawa finally felt some of the tension leave his chest.
"That red-eyed guy is troublesome," Shigaraki muttered irritably as he scratched his neck repeatedly.
"Should we capture him first?" the dark figure beside him asked.
"Take him alive."
"Understood."
Suddenly—
A dark portal appeared behind Izuna.
Before anyone could react—
The mist-like figure grabbed him and pulled him directly into the vortex.
"What—?!"
Midoriya, Bakugo, Iida, and even Thirteen were too shocked to react.
They could only watch as Izuna vanished instantly.
"MADARA!" Yaoyorozu Momo shouted as she stepped forward.
"Aizawa-sensei—he…"
"What?!" Aizawa turned around immediately after finishing restraining the last villain.
But by the time he looked—
Izuna had already disappeared.
The entire process—from the portal appearing to Izuna being taken—had lasted less than a second.
Aizawa immediately understood.
"They were targeting him from the start…"
"Aizawa-sensei… what should we do?" Ochaco Uraraka asked anxiously.
Aizawa frowned.
"We bring him back."
"No matter what."
"He's my student."
