*******
The symbiote that still gave Rezel sleepiness nights was still left unguarded in the constraints of his apartment.
A clank sounded in the door as it slowly opened.
This was the first time that someone had entered the sole lab of Rezel in days.
A foul odour forced Benson the cover his nose as he strolled along.
"It smells like something died in here", a soft faint male voice sounded within the metal walls.
Suddenly, Benson stopped, his eyes fixed at what laid ahead of him.
"Is that Winston?", Benson said as he trembled.
Even he couldn't believe it.
Winston laid dead on a chair rapidly decaying.
The scenery forced Benson to shift glances. He could never have imagined Rezel to kill Winston, neither would he have thought of it.
He grinned.
Trying to look away.
The body looked as though it had been there for even up to a week.
The multiple holes and stabs were easily noticeable on the body of Winston. The pocket knife that laid on the table beside him easily made the entire situation understable.
Although Benson couldn't wallow in anything.
He had only one job, get the symbiote and get out of there as quickly as was humanly possible.
He rushed past the body and grabbed the symbiote that was still inside the translucent glass case.
The symbiote beat and pounded loudly.
The red and veiny structure of the symbiote became evident.
Nothing more to do.
He had to report back to the organization as soon as possible.
Their messanger had been killed by the man who they trusted.
Their trade agreement had completely been thrown aside after the death of Winston, all Benson could think about was killing Rezel.
He walked out of the apartment, his yellow shirt reflecting off the sun's rays.
He gritted as he stepped onto his motorcycle.
He placed the symbiote at the back of his blue striped vehicle.
He then stepped on the pedal and sped off.
As he drove a call made him to slow down.
It was from the boss as Benson usually called him.
"Hello boss.
I got the symbiote. I am returning back now as we speak".
The boss chuckled over the line.
"What about Winston that we haven't heard in days, did you find him?", the boss queried.
"Yes.... I did, but you are not going to like the state I found him in", Benson retorted back keeping his voice low as he drove.
No words from the boss, he just wanted answers.
"He is no longer living", Benson then spoke after a period of silence.
No more words.
A loud bang was heard by Benson over the phone.
He knew that the boss would be angry to hear such news.
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted that scientist who isolated himself for completely no logical reason.
Now look where that got us, stranded and looking for a new messenger", a hiss followed next as the boss continued.
"We need to repay the favour, hurry up and return.
We are killing that man".
Benson nodded over the line before he hung up.
A murder attempt was brewing.
It wouldn't also be as difficult as usual as they were already recognised as a big organisation scientifically.
It was all going to plan, at least they felt it was.
The only thing left was to find Rezel.
A motorbike pulled in as Benson dropped down.
He was formally greeted by the security men who stood in front of a large building going sky high.
The men held futuristic guns and laser rifles.
The building looked like a glass house with reflectable windows and walls.
A large encryption was written on the walls of the building.
"Guerp Limited".
It was one of the largest organisation in the entire city.
The two to four hours of constant driving finally got him to the pave way.
He walked in not focusing on any of the beautiful scenery that surrounded it.
He smirked, symbiote in hand.
He did exactly as the boss, Guerp Butland had hoped.
He also exactly followed the schedule.
He walked into the building and directed his attention to the scientific aspect of the building.
It had a long hallway but it was still easily manuveured by Benson.
A first timer in such a huge organisation would likely have the possibility of getting lost.
----------
A steel door opened as Benson walked in.
A large apartment possibly bigger that some houses carefully exempted for all scientific activities.
These men worked tirelessly to find the key to human evolution.
A piece of that puzzle was meant to be Rezel if not for his sudden disappearance.
All Benson hoped was for the symbiote to have been solved and their idea of human evolution would be put to motion possible without turning it into a world-wide pandemic.
"Check this symbiote for any signs of evolution", Benson said as he dropped the translucent glass case.
The man who he spoke to was the head of all scientific operations in the organisations.
"Sure, we would get to you back in about a week or two", the man dressed in all overall mentioned as he turned around.
A cold face slowly turned into a smile as he watched Sukar walk away.
He himself also turned around and left.
Soon enough Benson made his way to the boss' office.
It was brightened up by the sunlight that constantly made it's way into the room.
Benson looked up noticing the constant glares by Guerp as he watched his movements closely.
"Before you say anything..... Yes, I have delivered the symbiote", Benson said with a slight pause as he spoke.
"Remember, send troops to hunt down that man and bring him to his knees", Guerp lashed back at Benson all focus on their rival, Rezel.
He moaned and stood up from where he sat.
"I'll handle it", Benson stated and left the air-conditioned room.
*********
Back at the emperor's palace, Chris now dressed up in his private room looking as though he was getting ready to move out.
He grabbed his blade and secured it in its patch.
He looked at the mirror.
He nodded once he saw a man who had a face of worry.
He couldn't believe his eyes.
Worrying about a man completely unarmed while he had the abilities of the celestial order.
The ability that granted him such power.
Still he wasn't contented, witnessing the alien like nails of Rezel made him worry the more.
He didn't want to lose everything, not yet.... not again.
His thoughts were shortened by Quill who walked in unannounced.
Her eyes widened when she saw her husband wearing his emperor attire.
"You going anywhere", Quill spoke to break the silence.
"I'm glad you asked.
I'm going ahead to seek another celestial order to grant me an over load of power", Chris described to his wife.
Quill stood still.
"Hope you do not worry about that convict.
Why would you?. You already have the power of the celestial order and yet you seek to gain another.
Or have you forgotten what you passed through to gain it the first---".
"You wouldn't understand", Chris completely cut the words of Quill short.
"I'll be taking my leave and I don't need anyone disputing my decision", Chris screamed as he shrugged and walked past Quill.
"Just keep an eye on the prisoner.
I'll be right back".
