Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Return

Bang bang bang ~

Even from ten thousand meters high, the people inside the prometheus could faintly hear the sound of rocks shattering.

They watched as the Creatures destroyed one Engineer spaceship after another on the ground.

Through magnification, they could clearly see that the Creatures was searching for something inside the spaceships.

For some reason, they had the strange illusion that the Creatures was looking for food.

This reminded them of certain animals that dig through thick soil to find food.

On the prometheus, almost everyone's mood was extremely complex.

They watched helplessly as the Creatures destroyed one Engineer spaceship after another, powerless to do anything.

For a long time, they couldn't speak.

Not to mention that their prometheus was just a research vessel; even if it were a military vessel equipped with an attack system, they wouldn't dare to attack.

They had seen the Creatures emit a blue beam of light from its mouth, slicing a spaceship in half.

If their prometheus made any move, its fate might be the same as that spaceship, right?

To save their lives, their opinions unanimously converged.

It's better to wait until the Creatures leaves.

Some even felt that it wasn't safe at their current altitude and wondered if they should fly even higher.

After Godzilla extracted all the "Black Water" from inside the spaceships, he took one last look at the ravaged valley he had dug up and then left.

He wanted to look for other Engineer spaceships elsewhere.

Of course, he also planned to see what made this alien planet different from Earth.

After repeatedly confirming that Godzilla had gone far away, the prometheus finally dared to Land on the ground.

Against Godzilla, they had no way to deal with him other than to flee.

"My God, what exactly is going on with that Creatures?"

Once they got close enough, they discovered that where Godzilla had stayed, a large amount of radiation remained, especially in the places where Godzilla had used his Atomic Breath; the radiation concentration was astonishing!

The good news, however, was that the half-life of this radiation was very short; they wouldn't need too much time before they could continue to investigate the spaceship wreckage left by Godzilla.

Of course, relying on their protective suits, they could still operate in this level of radiation.

Except for the spaceship where Godzilla had used his Atomic Breath—but then another problem arose, they still had two people inside that spaceship, and they needed to bring them back.

To be honest, most people inside the prometheus at this point didn't believe those two could still be alive.

Under the Creatures's terrifying attack, it was hard for any Creatures to survive.

But what can you do when there's a bleeding heart on board?

The female protagonist, concerned for the safety of her crew, decided to go alone to the spaceship wreckage to search for the two people, not forcing others to follow.

But in the end, it turned into three people going together.

The female protagonist, her lover, and the synthetic human David.

To be honest, in this environment, compared to humans who wouldn't immediately die after a certain level of radiation exposure, David, as a synthetic human, would immediately become incapacitated, the kind that couldn't be repaired.

If there was even the slightest damage to his protective suit, he wouldn't be able to return.

But what can you do, he's a synthetic human, if he doesn't go, who will?

It's unclear whether fate was playing a trick on them or if those two people were genuinely lucky.

The two people left inside the spaceship actually returned!

Although after examination, they had suffered varying degrees of radiation exposure, multiple bone fractures throughout their bodies, and internal bleeding to different extents.

But they had miraculously survived!

To this, the people remaining on the prometheus had complex expressions—who knows how much time had passed, Godzilla walked on the desolate planet, seeing no trace of life.

Or rather, no life other than Xenomorphs.

Well, excluding the few humans who flew to this planet.

It's worth mentioning that the Xenomorphs, who originally pounced on Godzilla without any fear, did not continue to attack him this time.

Instead, they all prostrated themselves at Godzilla's feet, surrendering to him.

Even the Xenomorph Queen, which was only a few meters tall, when prostrate, her height couldn't even compare to his toenails.

Truly, prostrate at my feet!

In response, Godzilla directly ordered all the Xenomorphs to disperse, telling them to go back where they came from.

He had no interest in leading those Xenomorphs.

Since this was no longer Earth, the original time couldn't be applied here.

Godzilla also had no interest in finding the law of this planet's revolution.

After encountering three sunsets, which meant three days on this planet, he finally saw an endless ocean!

Before, he hadn't encountered water, but those were just seemingly large rivers and lakes.

Even the largest lake he had encountered was not enough for Godzilla to move freely.

And after seeing the true ocean, Godzilla's mood gradually became refreshed and pleasant.

Godzilla quickly walked to the shore, then stepped into the ocean, braving the waves!

Before long, Godzilla's figure disappeared into the boundless sea.

Submerged in the seawater, Godzilla gradually transformed into a form more suitable for the ocean.

And this form was also the one Godzilla felt most comfortable in.

Compared to walking or running on Land, he still preferred to swim in the seawater.

In the ocean, Godzilla quickly discovered some fish he had never seen before.

In response, Godzilla swallowed all the unfamiliar fish into his stomach.

For this, Godzilla even re-evolved his digestive system, which had long been useless and atrophied.

Even his tongue re-evolved.

After an unknown period, when Godzilla found no more unfamiliar fish in the ocean and felt that there was nothing left on this planet worth staying for, with a thought, he returned to his original world.

The place where Godzilla returned seemed to be exactly where he had left.

It's just unknown how long he had been gone.

The energy of time-space travel, carrying the character for "time," indicates that it is not merely simple space travel, but also possesses the power of time.

Godzilla estimated that the time he had been away was at most no more than a day.

Godzilla was very satisfied with this; otherwise, he wouldn't have used this ability in the first place.

If he were to travel to other worlds, a round trip could take decades or even hundreds of years.

That would be a bit troublesome.

He hadn't forgotten that there were still humans in this world eyeing him covetously.

Who knows what black technologies they might have invented during his absence, and specifically designed to deal with him.
