Five Days Before School Starts
Ren: "I want to say to you again, I was wrong, and I apologize."
Riko: "Me too. I want to admit that I should not have yelled at you."
Yuiko: "Nii-san, please forgive us."
Ren, Riko, and Yuiko were bowing to the young boy in apology, which caught him off guard as he did not expect their sudden pleading for forgiveness to happen. Auntie Eun-hee said she was busy taking care of In-ah and Sena while Auntie Lunette went with her daughter, Nanami, to enroll her at her school and to go to the mall later on. The rest of the people, including So-mang, were all busy with their business, as well as feeling either ashamed or angry over the young boy's actions.
Ren: "Uhhh, I accept your....."
Riko: "We'll do anything to make you forgive us."
Yuiko: "No, that is well...."
Hao Xian: "Wait, so anything, huh?"
The Young Boy: "Hao Xian?"

She pats his head, which made him feel so happy, but then, as Reyon, his little innocent eyes stared at him were two pairs of eyes.
Riko: "Nee-san, is this the dog that....?"
Yuna: "Hey, this is Reyon."
Yuiko: "Reyon! he looks so cute! I want to pet him."
Ren: "What kind of name is Reyon? What does Reyon even mean?"
Yuna: I don't know, I will check on my phone...."
In the room next door
Hao Xian: "Come, dude, don't you want to do it?"
The Young Boy: "No way, Hao Xian, that is mean."
Hao Xian: So what did those three leave you?"
The Young Boy: But it is just making them do something they do not like, good... because it is not."
Hao Xian: Come on, just listen to....
The Young Boy: No, you listen to me, I do not want to make them even more mad than they were before!"

The young boy and Hao Xian returned to the room after discussing Ren, Riko, and Yuiko's punishment.
The Young Boy: I want you all three to stay at my house for the night."

Yuna: What an interesting punishment.

The Young Boy: Because I am making them stay in my house out of nowhere
Ren: Hey, dude, is that what you consider a punishment?

With that being said, the four siblings went home to pack their things so they could stay over at his house

Hao Xian: "Huh, ohhh, I was actually planning to sleep over at your house today, so I brought my suitcase with me."

Later, it was one o'clock in the afternoon.
Yuna, Riko, Ren, and Yuiko managed to return with their bags with essentials inside, and they all agreed to sleep in the same room since the master bedroom is off limits and both Yuna and Ren want to watch over Hao Xian, while Riko and Yuiko both want to watch over Reyon.
The six, consisting of three boys and three girls, went on to set up sleeping bags on the floor, with the young boy agreeing to let Yuiko sleep on his bed while he slept with the other four in the sleeping bag on the floor.
It was at one o'clock that.
Hao Xian: Why are we at the supermarket to buy groceries?
Yuna: Auntie Colette and Uncle Isaac said we should buy some food for our sleepover."
Ren: Wait, did they say that?"
Yuna: Ohhh, they said it over text."
Riko: Make sense....so they agreed to let us sleep over at his.....?
Yuna: Yeah, something along the lines of letting their son experience lost time with his friends.
RIko: Okay
The young boy and Hao Xian were both dragged by Ren, Yuna, Riko, and Yuiko to go grocery shopping with them.
The moment they all entered the shopping district, they all split up, leaving the young boy and Hao Xian to deal with Yuiko.
Hao Xian kept on talking and making Yuiko laugh every chance he got while the young boy silently watched their interaction, afraid to comment, as the memory of the beach trip flashed through his mind, including the angry stare she made at him before.
Hao Xian: Hey, dude, I can not believe those three older siblings just left us to take care of their young sister.
The Young Boy: Yeah, they are so mean.
Hao Xian: Mean indeed.
Yuiko: Do not say they are mean, hmph
The Young Boy: "Sorry."
Yuiko: "You too, Hao Xian-nii."
Hao Xian: "Why should I apolgogize huh!"
Yuiko: I will tell Ren-nii that you tried to steal his chocolate bars the last time you visited our house
Yuiko made a smile while closing her eyes, but the smile was not an innocent one, but one of malice. The young girl was currently and casually blackmailing Hao Xian, who began to yield and shrank back in fear. Yuiko grasped her hands together, holding her bag in front and emitting a dark aura.
Ren: She's just like Yuna-nee
The Young Boy: She is her younger sister
Yuiko: Indeed, I am her younger sister.
Later, the young boy, Hao Xian, and Yuiko all decided to walk around to see what was there.
Yuiko: Hello, Shop Lady!
The Shop Lady: Hello there, little Yuiko
Yuiko: Good afternoon, Mr. veggie seller
The Veggie Seller: Good afternoon to you, too, little Yuiko
Yuiko: How are you doing mr Butcher
Mr Butcher: Hello, I am doing fine, little Yuiko.
The Young Boy: Hao Xian, is she a celebrity here?
Hao Xian: You could say that, Ren and his family would always shop here, and so she would meet these people and talk with them because they were all kind and friendly to her.
The Young Boy: Whoa
The Fish Merchant: Who are these boys, little Yuiko?
Yuiko: These are my Ren-nii's best friends.
The Fish Merchant: It is nice to meet you.
He tried to go for a handshake, and the young boy was about to do it, but was stopped by Hao Xian, that was because Hao Xian did not want his or the young boy's hands to get dirty and smelly by the fish that was freshly caught just that morning.
The Fish Merchant: Ohhh yeah, that is right, my hands are dirty, hahahahaha! Well, see you around, little Yuiko, okay?"
Yuiko: Bye Bye Bye!"
Hao Xian: Maybe a strong and influential celebrity...
The Young Boy: Yeah, you are probably correct, Ge Hao Xian."
The young boy, Hao Xian, and Yuiko went into a nearby restaurant that sells coffee and cakes, where all three of them ate using the money they received from a combination of Yuna, Riko, and Ren's allowance and savings.
Just then, as they walk they found Ren who stood looking at a crowd of people.
He seems to be crossing his arms, looking so disappointed, but from his expressions, he looks like he is trying to hold back his laughter.
He seems to be staring at a stage where there seems to be some type of show happening with an announcer holding a microphone.
Announcer: "Good morning, fellow customers. I welcome you all to this month's annual cooking contest, and the winner of this whole cooking contest is to get many of these rare selections of sauces and spices, which are considered to be rare only in certain areas!"
Crowd: "Yeah!"
Hao Xian: "Yo! Ren! What is happening there, and where are Yuna and Riko?"
Yuiko: "Ren-nii, where are Riko-nee and Yuna-nee?"
Ren: "Huh? They are over there."
Ren was staring at the screen, and there were Yuna and Riko on stage competing for the rare selections along with....Sena?
The Young Boy: "Why is Sena Noona there?"
Yuiko: "Ehh! nee-chans? and.....e...on...ni?"
Hao Xian: "Wow, look at her, she is learning Korean, good for her."
Ren: "You understand that us the younger siblings, have to call them by their appropriate honorifics, right?"
Hao Xian: "Doesn't In-ah sometimes call him hyung instead of oppa?"
Ren: "Hello, she has to balance English, Korean, Chinese, and Nihongo."
Hao Xian: "Look at you with your favortisim....not Japanese, but Nihongo."
Ren: "Because that is why Japan is called to my family!"
Yuiko: "Wah...nii-chan is fighting with ge."
The young boy looked on as Ren and Hao Xian kept on arguing and making fun of each other.
The Young Boy: "Hey Yuiko, let's go closer to the stage."
Yuiko: "-chan..."
The Young Boy: "What?"
Yuiko: "I am Yuiko-chan!"
The Young Boy: "What?"
Ren: "Do not mind her, she just wanted to be called -chan now."
The Young Boy: Why?"
Ren: "That is because...."
Hao Xian: "Hey, Ren, do not ignore me!, you...."
Both of them continued to fight, and so Yuiko and the young boy went closer to the stage to see Yuna, Riko, and Sena participate in the cooking show or whatever this is.
The Young Boy: "You want to be called Yuiko-chan, right?"
Yuiko-chan: "Yeah!"
The Young Boy: "What about the people a while ago...didn't they call you little Yuiko instead of Yuiko-chan?"
Yuiko....chan: "Ehh?"
Yuiko-chan was caught off guard and turned back to the young boy.
Yuiko-chan: "Well, you are more like my Nii-chan than Ren-nii-san, who always likes to play games and not study."
No wonder why Yuna-nee and Riko-nee are so strict with Ren and why their strictness carried on to Hao Xian, and me....ohhh yeah to So-mang as well.
The young boy had not seen So-mang nor heard anything from Sena, his noona or In-ah, his yeodongsaeng.
Despite Sena being on stage, she seems to spot him and Yuiko-chan, and just tries to subtly look away from him, maybe out of guilt and resentment, who knows.
Yuiko....Yuiko-chan: Riko-nee, Yuna-nee, Sena noona!...win so we can have a tasty snack or else I will be mad!"
Riko-nee, Yuna-nee, and Sena-noona flinched at Yuiko...Yuiko-chan's threat, and so they are determined to win for Yuiko-chan to not hate them....the rare collection of spices and sauces is only a bonus to us three.
The young boy in his heart had a feeling that this was the reason why Hao Xian laughs to many times when he encountered antics by any of his or the other's older or younger siblings.
Nanami counts him as a younger sister despite things happening.
Riko-nee, Yuna-nee, and Sena noona began to exude an aura as if they were playing as if losing was instant death for them.
Many things have certainly happen but the young boy and Yuiko-chan only noticed the one huge thing, and that was.....
Customer 1: "Let's go!"
Customer 2: "Win! Win! Win!"
Customer 3: "Ahhhhhhhh!"
Yuiko-chan: "Nii-sama, it is so loud here."
The Young Boy: "It is so loud."
.....the many people screaming in the audience as well as the contestants.
Yuiko-chan and I went off away from the crowd and back to Ren and Hao Xian. Instead of fighting each other, they have begun to laugh at us.
Ren: "This is why I did not go closer."
Hao Xian: "Hahahaha!"
Ren: "You just laugh at anything, don't you?"
Yuiko-chan: "Ren-nii-san....Hao Xian-nii-san, why are you laughing at me and nii-sama!"
Ren: "Nii-sama?...hey bro....what did you do to make her call you that huh!"
Hao Xian stopped laughing and was now holding Ren back
Hao Xian: "Hey, dude, I suggest you stay at a far distance from Ren here....maybe bring Yuiko..."
Yuiko-chan: "Yuiko-chan..."
Hao Xian: "Seriously?"
The Young Boy: "Just do it, dude."
Hao Xian: "Fine...bring Yuiko-chan with you..."
The Young Boy: "Okay."
The young boy and Yuiko-chan went off and stayed watching Yuna-nee, Riko-nee, and Sena-noona continue to be serious.
Yuna-nee: "Hurry! mix the ingredients."
Riko-nee: "I have them. We now need to add this!"
Sena-noona: "We have to hurry, or else Yuiko-chan will hate us."
Riko-nee: "Yeah!"
Yuna-nee: "We need to be the best sisters for Yuiko-chan."
Sena-noona: "Yeah!"
They are so dramatic, according to the young boy, while Yuiko-chan was praising and cheering for them."
The cooking contest sort of lasted for one whole hour, and both the young boy and Yuiko-chan were getting upset over our burning feet.
The young boy tried to carry Yuiko-chan, but he was unable due to him lacking any excersize
So they both searched and found a nearby spot to sit down.
Yuiko-chan: "Nii-sama, you are so weak."
The young boy let out a sigh, and they both continued to watch the scene of the cooking contest from afar.
Yuiko-chan: "Look at them go, yeah!....yeah!....yeah!"
She kept on cheering for her nee-sans and noona.
Yuiko-chan: "Hey!....ohhh no!.....they spilled the ingredient onto their mixing pan....they are all cheaters!"
There was someone who attempted to sabotage them....it was unsuccessful as it ended with their team being made to restart their food from scratch.
Meanwhile, though, Yuna-nee, Riko-nee, and Sena-noona, despite that happened, all panicked for a while, but then they huddled up, and then they decided to add some more ingredients into the bowl, and so they all returned to being busy around their station.
Each team was given about one hour and thirty seconds to finish their dish, and currently, there were about thirty seconds left.
They all then add some things, remove some things, and do some things, such as separating the yolk from the rest and putting both in separate bowls, and so they add stuff to the bowls.
The young boy could not understand cooking at all, and so was unable to come up with or understand the reasons for such decisions in the making process.
Yuiko-chan: "Yeah! Come on, Riko-nee! mix! mix! mix!
Riko-nee: "I need to do this for Yuiko-chan's smile."
Yuiko-chan: "Come on, Yuna-nee! mash! mash! mash!"
Yuna-nee: "I need to do this for Yuiko-chan's praise."
Yuiko-chan: "You can do it! Come on, Sena-no...o...na..yeah, noona!"
Sena-noona: "She is so cute when she tries her best...no....if I fail....I do not deserve to be anywhere near her...I need to get Yuiko-chan's attention."
They all worked their hardest
Ren: "They are overracting aren't they?"
Hao Xian: "Yeah, that is what makes this funnier...hahahah!"
Ren and Hao Xian seemed to have decided to join me and Yuiko-chan in sitting down at these seats near the exit.

Announcer: "Time is up! Contestants! Present your dishes now!"
Ren: "Honestly, a while ago, Sena-noona was just passing by, only to meet Yuna-nee and Riko-nee...then she tagged along....and then Riko-nee and Yuna-nee decided to join some cooking contest for the rare selection of spices and sauces."
Hao Xian: "Yeah, but Sena-noona was against it until Yuiko-chan threatened them so they would work hard....and so she became so energized."
The Young Boy: "Ohhh, so that is why she is there."
Ren: "By the way....Yuiko-chan has not said any....thing..."
Hao Xian: "Well, this is going to be interesting."
The Young Boy: "Hey Yuiko-chan....do not...please....your brother is looking very jealous now
Yuiko-chan: snore...snore.....snore.....mmmmm.....ahhh....nii-sama~....snore."
Ren: "Why is she sleeping on you, dude and not on me?!
Hao Xian: "Is that where you are commenting on now?"
The dishes on the cooking show were presented
Team 1 - Curry (Redone From Scratch)
Team 2 - Cake
Team 3 - Ice Cream
Team 4 - Wagyu
Team 5 (Riko-nee, Yuna-nee, and Sena-noona) - Souffle
Announcer: "My...what delicious food for me to stuff myself...I mean to criticise and judge."
Hao Xian: "I agree with him, I told you, Ren, why not be a food critic?"
Ren: "What, no way."
Hao Xian: "Why not? You get to eat all the foods of the world, no?"
Ren: "I remembered Riko-nee wanting to be a food critic for the same reasons you gave."
Hao Xian: "So?"
Ren: "Yuna-nee and my mother turned her down, then began listing down their reasons, such as low salary, working in the evening, which leads to not having time to spend time with their families, hectic work schedule, and the one reason that made her agree with Yuna-nee and my mother."
Hao Xian: "What is it, Ren?"
Ren: "She would gain weight and chronic indigestion, but mostly gain weight."
The Young Boy: "I feel like that is reasonable, your job is to taste food, so you have to eat a lot of good food in high-class restaurants."
Ren: "Not just high-class restaurants but restaurants of all kinds."
The Young Boy: "Ohhh, okay then."
The four of them....well, three since Yuiko-chan was asleep, watched as the announcer tasted all the food resisiting their urge not to get another bite or show an unprofessional expression.
Announcer: "Ahem....well then, now that I have tasted all the food, the winners are team 5!"
Yuna-nee: "Yeah!"
Riko-nee: "Nee-chan!...we did it!....uhhh....I mean nee-san....ahem...we did it, yeah."
Sena-noona: "We did it, you two!"
They all cheered for each other, and the crowd clapped along side them.
Ren: "Hey, look at that, they won!... I am so happy for them."
Hao Xian: "Hey, look, they are doing a speech.....ohhh no it is about Yuiko-chan."
The Young Boy: "But she is asleep right now!"
The speech of Yuna-nee, Riko-nee, and Sena-noona went on, and in their speech, they each had a different way of saying the main idea, which was to make Yuiko-chan happy.
Yuna-nee: "Riko and I were just out buying some things when we met our friend here, Sena, who was just walking by.
Riko-nee: "We then discovered this contest for all of us to obtain the collection of rare spices and sauces, and Sena was nervous at first and wanted to refuse, but that all changed when....
Sena-noona: "That all changed when our youngest Yuiko-chan cheered for us, and so we realized that we should not do it for a reward such as spices and sauces, but it was Yuiko-chan's smile."
And they all even added some backstory, talking about a story about how they got here. Basically, it is all lies, to which Ren and Hao Xian began to laugh.
Ren: "She is not even part of our biological family."
Riko-nee: "Our precious Yuiko-chan supported us, which made us realize that the real reward was the smiles on our families' faces!"
Hao Xian: "I feel like this is becoming a Shonen plot."
Yuna-nee: "And so allow us to say thank you, Yuiko-chan, for supporting us!"
Announcer: "Wow, that is so touching."
Team 1 Member 1: "What were we doing, trying to cheat?"
Team 1 Member 2: "Yeah, we entered this competition for the sake of getting those spices and sauces for our grandmother to be happy, but in the end."
Team 1 Member 3: "We tried to sabotage others, which will not make our grandmother happy at all.... We are sorry!"
Team 2 Member 1: Those three deserve to have the spices."
Team 2 Member 2: "Yeah!"
Team 2 Member 3: "We have this cake, so let's give it to our cousins later."
Team 3 Member 1: "It is fine if we lost after all....we were able to do it for our father
Team 3 Member 2: "Yeah! I can not believe we were able to make our father's recipe, who passed away, and we were left with no way to eat his ice cream ever again until now."
Team 3 Member 3: "Thank you father for guiding us and helping us be able to remake your special recipe!"
Team 4 Member 1: "Hey, you guys, we were offered a contract for our well-cooked wagyu!"
Team 4 Member 2: "Does that mean?"
Team 4 Member 3: "Yeah! We finally got someone backing up our restaurant!"
Someone from the crowd 1: "Are they talking about little Yuiko?"
Someone from the crowd 2: "They are talking about our precious little Yuiko!"
Someone from the crowd 3: "Yeah, everyone cheer!"
Everyone present there: "Yuiko! Yuiko! Yuiko!"
In the end, everyone was happy, including Ren and Hao Xian, who, instead of cheering, were laughing at the whole situation, even Yuiko-chan, who was happily sleeping. The only one who was unhappy, or rather troubled by the situation, was the young boy, feeling pity for the people there, and disappointment for Ren and Hao Xian for laughing, and Yuiko-chan for sleeping through the whole speech that touched many people's hearts.
Ren: "In the end, she fell asleep, and she did not hear your whole speech."
Yuna-nee: "Eh?"
Riko-nee: "No way!"
Sena-noona: "What?...how could she not witness our beautiful speech?"
Hao Xian: "Beautiful?"
Yuna-nee: "Everyone loved it, though."
Ren: "Yeah, sure they did."
Riko-nee: "How can you be sure after all you three just sat down...you of course do not understand the struggles of being able to bake our food, such as errors in temperature, measurement, or even technique that can lead to unsatisfactory results!"
Ren: "Sure, it is, Riko-nee."
They were all walking home while Sena-noona held their cooking contest trophy, and Yuna-nee was carrying their freshly baked soufflé in a box.
Everyone around him kept on arguing until Yuna-nee and Riko-nee spotted something that surprised and confused them, so they turned to Ren.
Ren looked at me and then back at them with a mix of annoyance and tired expression, and just shrugged his shoulders.
Yuna-nee: "Why is Yuiko-chan allowing you to carry her piggyback style?"
Riko-nee: "Yeah...since when did she get some attachment to you?"
Hao Xian: "Now that I am seeing it, she treats you more like a brother than Ren."
Ren: "Hey, do not remind me now, okay..."
The young boy was carrying Yuiko-chan on his back.
Back at the shopping district, Yuiko-chan woke up from her nap
Ren offered to carry her on his back, but then
Yuiko-chan: "Nii-sama, can you carry me on your back?"
The Young Boy: "What? wait? why?"
Hao Xian: "Wow, she seriously wants you to do it..."
The young boy was now walking ahead of them with Yuiko-chan on his back since he was ordered by Yuna-nee and Riko-nee to do it.
Sena-noona is still awkward around him, which made Ren and Hao Xian uncomfortable because of how much she usually is a talkative person who likes to talk about beauty trends and clothes, but now she is quiet; actually, they never see this side of her, who is quiet and interested in baking.
They all dropped Sena-noona off with So-mang watching through the window, but she refuses to go out.
After all that happens the young boy, Ren, Hao Xian, Yuna-nee, Riko-nee, and Yuiko-chan went back to the young boy's house so they could prepare for the night.
It was currently five in the afternoon, and the sun was setting as the sky was now orange-yellow.
What the young boy learned from this whole trip was that Yuiko-chan was popular, Sena-noona used to be talkative, Ren and Hao Xian will remain the same immature selves, and Yuna-nee and Riko-nee seemed to be muttering something about trying to regain Yuiko-chan's attention...they are such sis-cons now, but the most important thing was that soufflé was the greatest, according to the young boy now.
