The woman laughed wildly; in her hand she held a ball-black, round, reflecting the light--held many odd qualities did the Relic.
"My pawn! Yes, at last--oh how far I've come to finally create it.."
She had beautiful black hair that ran down to her thighs, and her figure was well developed; she was rather tall. However, the grotesque look on her face contradicted her beauty.
"Finally, the bridge between our worlds shall fall; the destroyer shall be born, and finally free us of our cells!"
However, her laughter was interrupted by soft footsteps.
A beautiful man with a pale face, sharp, purple eyes was quietly walking towards her; he had long, dark purple hair with a purely white robe on. His face was extremely gentle, as if feeling no malice or hate at all for anything around him, or anyone for that matter.
Her eyes widened in utter terror--no, complete shock, complete horror!
"No, no! Why are you here!? Get away from me!"
"Such rude words, yet I have done nothing of the sort to deserve them--extremely vile you are."
He lightly smiled and kept walking over; he then knelt down slight and gently took her soft, pale hand and kissed it.
"Thank you for this, truly I shall treasure you even in your eternal absence."
Then, without a movement the Demi-Immortal that stood opposite of him exploded; her blood, her guts, everything flew across the gold hall.
However, the black orb still resided peacefully in the air; as if it was completely undisturbed from the slaughter.
The mans smile grew larger, and he gently cupped it.
"She talks of a destroyer, how funny."
He slightly snickered as he took the black orb, and then crushed it in his hand.
"Maybe Ivan will be a destroyer, maybe he won't be. Such a vile bitch, she would inevitably cause his downfall with her ignorant guidance--oh, don't worry Ivan, when you are born I won't guide you. One day, and yes--I am completely confident in you, you will fly to my level. After you achieve such, then and only then will I deal with you."
Of course, Koji could not hear him; however, he declared it anyway. After all, even the words from such a force made ripples throughout the realms.
With that, he waved his hands and vanished from the golden hall.
--
A large, grand room stood. Inside the room was a large, round table where the only light that shined upon it was that of the sun casting its light through the large windows.
"Don't you understand!? If we don't find out what that purple haired devil created, all of our kingdoms could be in danger! He is not to be underestimated, it doesn't matter if his so called project has not caused any disasters yet--no way could he bring a being from another world here and it be all okay! Something will happen soon enough!"
This man was old with a large, brown beard; he had bulging muscles and clearly had lived a long life.
"Oh, then tell me--Neville, how should we accomplish this? We cannot trace his little project, there is nothing leading us to the boy, or girl--gender matters not, what matters is that we are unable to find it."
A slender, tall man with golden hair and shining, blue eyes spoke up in an asserting tone.
"Oh, so you say we give up? Cowardly, you truly are!"
"Oh Neville, he is right. What are we supposed to do presently? Although regretfully, I must admit there truly is nothing that can be done."
A woman with light, blue hair spoke up; her beauty was that of a fairy.
"You too Nelia? Fine then! You may both witness how his project fucks all of us over in the future!"
At that, the golden haired man clenched his fists tightly.
"Silence, Neville--all you do is talk, but say nothing of value. He is much more powerful; no, it is the difference between night and day how far above he is! Yet you expect us to kill something he has placed his gaze over. Funny, that's what you are."
To that, Neville had no response; he simply got up and walked out of the room.
"Such a pitiful man, it's sad he thinks he can fight against this matter."
The golden haired mans face shifted to that of slight pity.
"Well maybe he's right in a way, it's not like we should completely give up."
However, Nelia had a more optimistic expression.
"We should of course stay on watch for the so called defect, and if he is noticed--well, he shall be delt with."
She tried to defend Neville's point, and that was because he truly was correct in a way.
"But the best thing to do is wait, and it is what we shall do. Right now, non action is much better than action."
To that response, Nelia nodded her head.
"You are right, Alexander."
Alexander gently nodded his head.
"That old man will learn that someday, he will be forced to."
Then, Nelia's expression shifted to worry.
"Even if we do catch the defect, how would we kill him without angering that devil?"
Alexander sighed, admittedly this was troubling for him too.
"It would be impossible to do such a thing, all we could do is trap him."
Even then, Nelia had her doubts.
"Wouldn't he be able to tell if we did?"
Alexander's eyes narrowed slightly.
"No, there is one way. We could completely cut off their soul connection by using a certain Weapon Relic, but it has been mostly lost to time. It was called Soul Sheers; Basically, any connection formed between two souls--no matter how powerful, could be cut by the weapon. If we do get this, we could effectively trap the defect without alerting the demon."
Nelia's eyes shined in curiosity as Alexander explained, but another thing also caught her interest.
"This uhm.. Devil, demon--whatever--why is he called such? What is his real name?"
Alexander sighed, he had just found out of this too.
"Well, his name is not known by anyone from my knowledge--we call him devil, or demon; even some other terms, because he simply is one. He terrifies us deeply, and truly there is no other way to describe him."
After the explanation, the conversation had ended, so they both went their separate ways.

Meanwhile, another important event was undergoing in Koji's yard.
He was about to learn to nurture a new core!
