CHAPTER FIFTEEN: UNKNOWN GATHERING
An unknown meeting;
The woman at the head of the table said something that made everyone in the room stop talking. "She needs to be eliminated." The woman was really rich and really scary. She had grey hair that was perfectly styled and a smile that did not make it to her eyes.
Aria Morriston was the problem. The woman said Aria Morriston was a danger to everything they had built over the thirty years. Aria Morriston had to be removed from the picture for good.
A man stood up. He was wearing an expensive suit and he looked nervous. "Why are we punishing Aria Morriston for things that're not her fault?" he asked. "She did not ask to be born into this. She did not ask for any of the things that have happened to her."
The woman told him to sit down. "Sit down or you will be silenced forever " she said. "I do not mean that in a nice way."
The man looked around the table. No one would look at him. He sat down.
