GEORGIA'S POV
"Actually," Rheia paused, looking me up and down like a specimen. "I think this could be fun. I need a change of pace, and since Nikolaj will be here," she turned to him with a sweet, calculated look, "you are staying home today, right?"
"Yeah," he replied with a heavy sigh.
"Then it's settled. I'll be an absolute angel," she said, winking at me. I didn't need a psychic to know she meant the exact opposite. She already detested me.
The walk back to the mansion was miserable; the night air bit through my drenched suit. Once in my room, I wrung out my clothes and hung them to dry before collapsing into a warm bath. I was starving, but the thought of facing anyone in the living room after such an embarrassing night was too much to bear.
I needed to plan for tomorrow. Since I was officially a "babysitter," I decided on a semi-formal look. I couldn't exactly chase a child around in a blazer or a pencil skirt.
