Quash looked like he was simply jogging after intense run but internally, he was finalising the method to improve his running.
His idea is very simple. Anyone can come up with it. Nothing special. What he wants to do is is his body weight to stomp the ground hard and use the repulsion force to propel himself. Effectively increasing his running speed by 20% or so with the same energy used.
To gain maximum repulsion force, Quash decided to use the principle to increase pray effectiveness. But instead of putting his body weight while reclining, he needed to do that while running and inclined.
With everything set, Quash decided to test it out. He inclined slightly leaned his weight on his left leg.
His foot stomped hard on the ground but he couldn't time it. But he certainly felt the shock. Quash didn't stop and tried the same with the next step and failed to time again. He ran while trying to create a rhythm with the repulsion force but it wasn't working making him stop.
"Hmm~."
Quash was breathing heavily through his nose but he kept his mouth shut. He was facing a problem with timing.
So decided to trying experiencing the timeming by going slow. He jumped forward and landed on his foot without cushioning anything and he felt his internal organs, along with his brain experience a shake. He felt dizzy for a second before he recovered.
"Well that was stupid. I shoul have known better than to jump like that. Sigh~."
Quash Sigh and tried again. He stomped his feet in the ground and examining the possible obstacles. After few stomps and mental calculations, he concluded that going slow isn't an option. The repulsion force is too fast. If he wanted to use it to boost himself, he needed to be fast.
At all came down to just being fast and furious. Quash stopped his rabbit hopping and rested for a bit to catch his breath.
After he was done, he took a deep drag of the fresh and sweet smelling air before started running with all his might. He noticed that he was actually able to sometimes push forward using a little bit of the force. Quash leaned forward a bit for greater repulsion and he again felt a little bit of difference.
But he started to slow down after a minute and then he stopped to take a rest. He could still jog but that would be just Endurance training. What he was trying to do was train Dexterity and Endurance at the same time.
After Quash caught his breath and was ready to run again, he again ran with full speed, trying to perfect the rhythm. And slowly, as tike passed, he was getting hang of ti and he could feel the improve in the rhythm of running and emotional satisfaction when that happened.
He didn't notice any obvious improvements in speed, just felt he was faster. Quash repeated the process of running at full speed for a minute then resting for 5 minutes before repeating the cycle until 8 in the morning.
He stopped and after catching his breath, he went to a food truck to have something to eat. He ordered double beef pette cheese burger and a cold drink. Just because this city was heavily influenced by fishes doesn't mean there are no food with other animals meats.
After Quash was done with his meal, scaned his fingerprint and iris in the big screen at the trucks body and selected the meal he had and the payment was done. A notification arrived from the local bank in an instant.
People doesn't try to scam any one because every business man, whither on the streets or inside a fancy building, has cameras installed. And the moment the owner files complaint, the security system will 360 no scope that person into jail, f the accusation is true of course.
If not, the person who issued false repost is going straight to jail with extra fine for wasting government's time and resources.
Quash left the food truck and sat under a tree because the bench in this area was occupied and he was too lazy at the moment to walk somewhere else.
He took out his phone and rested for a while. He scrolled through the Internet before he got up and just walked around to let the food settle in his stomach. And when it was 9 in the morning, Quash warmed up again and started doing push ups, pull ups, and all sorts of exercises to make use of all the muscles in his body.
He was already familiar with calisthenics because of his past life and traning done but his father and grandfather. Both of them weren't that big of a fan for external items in early stages.
There argument is: if you can't even carry yourself properly, how can you carry something else on top of yourself?
Little quash didn't understand the depth then but now he perfectly understood. So he took their advice to heart and invested most of his training schedule to calisthenics.
Quash took rest, drank water and again went to work out. He repeated the cycle until it was evening and was time for his Skills training. Quash went after an uneventful but fruitful day. When he came home, he took out a wooden sword from the storage room in the courtyard.
He went to the tree in the corner where a branch had a log of a tree hanging. Quash uses this to train his sword skills along with his Footwork Technique.
Previously, Quash would just us one movement over and over again but it seemed very inefficient. Why would he do that when he could train the whole set all at once?
So Quash started his training. He would first use thurst and try to make it precise so the weight distribution happens evenly and the log gets pushed back in a straight line and he would pray it.
It the log was heavy so the praying was effective somewhat. When his grandfather was alive, he would be the one to help and some times his father.
Quash thursted but it was a bit off so the log wen a bit side ways and he had to move in front of it to pray.
But it wasn't bad after all. His preparation time for pray can be reduced and his precision for thurst will also increase along side it. And after that, he chopped. Then quash started to repeat the process. Sometimes his thurst was precise while most of the time it was not. He needed foe training but it will happen eventually.
Time flew by and Quash stopped training his Tri-Sword Formation and Flowing Water Footwork Technique training for today. Quash went inside through the living room straight to bathroom to shower. He dumped his sweaty clothes into the washing machine and took shower. He scrubbed his body throughly before realising he hadn't brought neither a towel nor any clothe.
But since there was no one he just shurred and walked naked towards his room. He felt very weird and taboo. But he quickly dried himself and put something on.
After that, he cleaned the water trial and ordered some food because he was too lazy to cook. He watched TV while thinking about ways to improve his training effectiveness when the door bell rang.
The food has arrived. He received the parcel and went inside to eat. He had already paid. He had ordered a set menu of Chinese cuisine equivalent. He didn't know where these type of dishes originated in this world. But they were similar in taste and looks.
Or maybe there was a place like China he just wasn't aware of it.
Quash ate the food, took out the trash, turned off all the lights before slumping down on his bed. His body was screaming in quiet pain. Not enough to render him unable to move but tomorrow morning will surely be uncomfortable.
"Sigh~. I wish my body had some crazy healing factor because of Aura... wait! What will happen if I just circulate Aura when I train!?"
A sudden thought emerged and made Quash jump on his bed in astonishment.
