Chapter 11 - Aura Charged

Quash was sitting under a tree after intense run. Run still circulating at 1000 cycle per second. Previously, Quash hadn't felt any changes but now he did. He could run faster, react faster, his blood was running on full efficiency making his recovery also faster. Small minor injuries are also supposed to patch up since his natural healing power went up.

Quash had gotten first hand experience of the buff when he ran here to the park. He had initially thought that he was just feeling wrong but when he ran, felt felt something align and he missed almost no rhythm when using repulsion force.

It was not perfect use but the improvement was there. Even his overall bodily improvement was mediocre.

Previously, he could run like 20 minute marathon, now he could run for little over 30 minutes. Where recovering took 5 minutes now it took 2.

He also felt his movements were bit fluid. Just a tiny bit.

Quash Sighed and took sip of Grundleas water.

"Man I wish there was a status window to know... hold on. There is one!"

Quash sat straight, realising that he had actually forgotten about the status window. He quickly summoned his status window with a hint of excitement in his expression. There was nothing better than seeing ones progress laid bare when they can barely feel it. It help in calming the mind.

"I wonder if my passive circulation got recognised as a skill and I need to visit the church to baptise it?"

He murmured while reading the status window.

"Hmm~."

Quash studied his status window and noticed few changes. First is [Rising Trend]. It means the Stats will see an explosive growth within 1 month. At least 10 increase.

Second is increase in skill level. His Tri-Sword Formation increased in one level. Which was very reasonable because of the training he did the day before. 1 level increase was expected.

The Flowing Water Footwork Technique also increased 3 levels. The reason being, probably because of how he had trained in running using the principles of the Footwork.

And lastly, the Aura Cultivation Method. It was a skill with Basic Proficiency. It skipped Intermediate Proficiency, Expert Proficiency and increased directly to Master class Proficiency.

An unimaginable feat...or not?

He couldn't he sure. But it sure felt good to see his progress counted and acknowledged.

Quash also noted the special condition change. It said Aura Charged. He wondered what that intelled to. And if the system would give any information regarding it. He involuntarily clicked on Aura Charged, expecting nothing. Since this system didn't seem to be like the noisy ones.

But defying all expectations. Information dropped down.

[Aura Charged

Grade: Rare

A condition where Aura is being constantly circulated through the body. Blood is being constantly bathed in Aura. Resulting in the state called Aura Charged. As a result, the blood runs in maximum efficiency.]

"Oh."

Quash read the description and nodded in approval. It was as he had expected. He looked at his status window a bit more just to appreciate the new changes. After that, he stood up once again and started training.

He ran until 8 then took some rest, ate before starting calisthenics. He definitely felt different in efficiency. His body listened to his thoughts more efficiently. He felt he could push himself to the limits and go far and beyond.

Since ye had entered Rising Trend state, his stats will grow explosively. He was already feeling the effects.

Quash continued to train until dawn. He went home and trained his skills. He again felt that his precision has increased. He could thrust with more precision than before. There were fewer misses because his body was actually trying to align with his thoughts.

He trained until 8 in the night before getting inside, putting his clothes for washing and going to take a bath. He didn't forget about the towel this time.

After putting on new clothes on, he still felt that he had a bit of stamina left. So he decided to cook a simple egg fried rice. And after he was done with cooking, he watched TV while eating. He was watching news about Academy City.

A news channel was interviewing a The Headmaster and founder of Fruma Academy. One of the Academy City committee member. As well as the one of the core founding members of Academy City.

Saffron Fruma.

An old monster whose age is unknown. The Academy City is 10,120 years old. And the old man was old from the beginning of that. Rumours say that he may as well be over 100,000 years old.

And not so weirdly enough, Quash didn't wasn't surprised at all. Because in the novel, it was hinted that he may be even more ancient.

The interviewer asked the Headmaster about the progress on the arrangements of the entrance and their expectations from the new students.

They talked about stuff like how this generation may as well be called the Golden age of talent because there are many talented individuals who eclipses those from the previous ones.

And because the age gap between the newest generation is very small, unlike the previous generation who had a very asymmetric age gap, the talents have gathered in one symmetric timeline.

Quash listened to the interview without much thought. He just watched because he was too lazy to change channels, and another reason was because the old man had a weird charm in his way of speaking that made even a boring interview bare able.

After a while, Quash got up, turned the TV off, washed the dishes and went to bed.
