Midori and her half dead puppets enter the ruins inside of the mountainous soul. It took them far longer to reach this place cause of the chaos outside. Sinned souls have gotten even more violent after the collapse of the mountainous soul.
The mountainous soul still exists but its existence has weakened after losing so many of the sinned souls. Sooner or later, it will die and that is it for this sinned soul.
'Mor can deal with it.'
There target is to get the frozen blessing that is asked of them. There is nothing else to it. They really have nothing to do with the sinned souls. It was just an obstacle in her way.
There is always a fear of these sinned souls to grow further to become a gigantic or complete sinned soul. But these wild Chosen can kill it even if guideless Chosen aren't here.
Chosen and sinned souls are in sort of a balanced state. Both kill each other and keep their numbers from growing up.
Midori moves through the ruins and find writings that are quite comprehensible. But she can't decipher them as there are too many languages used at the same time.
She needs someone else to decipher it. But it isn't important. She isn't an archaeologist. She doesn't care about the history of the whoever lived in this hell.
Suddenly, a strange think happened. Her connection to one of her puppets broke out of nowhere. She has sent them away to search and she is sure that none of them would die if they encounter a Sinned soul.
She can control her puppets but she can't use their senses. It is like projecting her experience to her puppets and a little of your mind too. That is why, whenever anyone of her puppets dies. She feels a little shock in her head.
Death of one puppet isn't much concern. But the death of this puppet felt like an instant. There is something odd that is happening.
She orders her remaining thirteen puppets move. She won't risk any more them dying. But without any warning, another one of her puppets dies and then another.
Midori gets quite irritated by that. It is clear to her now that someone is targeting her specifically. But who could that be?
Then another one of her puppets dies. Now she only has ten and that is enough of that.
She uses her blessing and makes each of her puppets invisible. Now they can at least reach her in one piece. It was her mistake that she didn't do it form the start. But she didn't expect in major threat to be here. This cold ruin is just dead and filled with junk.
There can't be a guardian of sorts to protect such a thing.
"Or what if…"
Then a voice calls her.
"Hey, Bitch. I'm here to settle this once and for all."
Midori looks at the person of the voice. It sounds familiar to her. But the face of the person is different.
She tries to remember if she has seen this person before. The Chosen in front of her has smooth skin and no wounds on her body. She is wearing rag tag clothes that are barely holding on to dear life.
From just the appearance, she can tell that this Chosen isn't a Guideless. So, who else could it be?
"Who?"
The Chosen in front of her becomes confuse and complains while pointing at herself.
"You don't remember me? It is me, Skin. Don't you remember how much I want to kill you because you are so bitchy."
Midori has never heard that name before. How would she remember a name that she never heard before?
She needs to try to put the pieces together. She notices foul language, a familiar looking weapon and a lot of hate towards her. This does remind her of someone. But that someone looked burnt and pretty ugly. This couldn't be her. This Chosen looks completely different form her.
"What happened? You did some makeup or something?"
Skin doesn't know what she is talking about.
"Are you making funny of me, huh? I am going to kill you?"
Midori now know who she is. This is the same Chosen she encountered two times and failed to kill her.
Her face is changed but that anger of hers is still needs someone work. Too bad she can't put makeup on her anger issues.
Skin moves forward to attack Midori. But she is blocked by her puppets that comes out of nowhere.
Skin suffers a little damage from the attack. But it isn't enough to stop her and so she attacks back at the puppet. She ambushed four puppet and managed to kill them.
She didn't let Midori's puppets to fight and didn't even bother to kill the sinned soul that came out it. She has bigger fish to kill and that fish is Midori. Before that though, she needs to kill off her puppets.
Puppets use a fighting style that is slippery. Skin uses her attack but each time they dodge it. She has fought them before and this fighting style of there has been quite ridiculous. Skin can't seem to get a grasp of him to fight them
Last time, she uses a bit of trickery and fought on all four to injury these puppets. But currently, these tactics doesn't seem to work as it seemed like they've learnt.
Every invisible puppet has revealed itself and is fight Skin. She isn't sure where is Midori. She lost it somewhere between the fight.
"Why won't you fight me one on one, you coward."
Midori hears her demand and fulfils it. One of the puppet mirrors into Midori. Then puppet speaks.
"Now I am here. Are you satisfied?"
Skin attacks the puppet that just turned into Midori. This is obviously to taunt Skin and it seem to work well as she literally jumps into the puppets and get hurt pretty badly. But the damage isn't massive so she can handle their attack.
"You know what I meant. Fight me with your real body."
Midori isn't a fool to listen her pointless demands. She doesn't care what vermin beneath her have to say. She will fight the way she wants.

Man-man has determined that if there is a king's chamber then there is a queen chamber too. He is after Queen's frozen blessing and the chance of that frozen blessing to be there is high.
He moves through the ruins with cautious. He doesn't want any sinned souls to find him. He doesn't want to waste time fighting them. It is better the faster he gets his hands on that frozen blessing.
He isn't sure what kind of frozen blessing is it. He isn't even sure what can it do. But that doesn't matter. He just has to find it as he is instructed. He will not fail in his task.
From the moment, he first met Skin. He's been scheming to set their course to here. He has succeeded and now he just has to find that thing.
Man-man goes even deeper into the ruins and that means he is going deeper into the mountainous soul. He isn't sure what is happening out side with Chosen and Mountainous soul. But he is sure that, Mountainous soul has lost its shape. It should be safe moving in.
While moving through the ruins, he does encounter more writings. No. Not writing but pictures that are carved into the stones. He assumes that these are different from the writings. Not made by the same person.
He observes them but it doesn't uncover any new information. These carving are just of the king on the crown worshipped like a god.
What is this King? If that king was a Chosen then what kind of blessing does it possessed?
'Mysteries, mysteries and more mysteries.'
Someday, he might be able to uncover something. But for now, he doesn't have time.
He goes even deeper and finally stumble upon another Chamber that is strangely illuminated. The whole inside of the Mountainous soul is light up with a dark red glow. But this glow is different. It is hiding something deep within itself.
He concluded this has to be it. Now he just has to figure out how get in safely. But something is odd here.
'I feel dizzy all of a sudden.'
He hasn't slept for few days. But that should affect him at a time like this. He is aware of the danger so his body should cause him to fall asleep even if he wants to sleep so much.
There has to be something else that is causing it. It isn't nature. His body shouldn't response like that.
Suddenly, he is attacked from behind. His body doesn't respond in time so he does get hit. But he still manages to make some distance between his enemy and himself.
He looks at the creature who attacked. He sees a Chosen who is wielding two battle axes. His mouth looks quite hurt and torn up. His eyes are blood red with anger and hatred.
That anger and hatred is targeted towards Man-man.
Man-man isn't sure why did still Chosen followed him to his place and attacked him. Did this Chosen followed him from the started and attacked him after getting separated from Skin?
Was it planned or just a coincidence? Man-man isn't sure. But at least it is clear that this Chosen is the result for this dizziness. This Chosen's blessing seemed to be a drug that makes anyone surrounding him feel sluggish.
This sounds trouble for Man-man.
Man-man try to focus but he is struggling. His enemy speaks but he just hears gibberish. It looks like his enemy can't talk for some reason.
It doesn't matter though. His currently problem is that his opponent has an advantage against him. Man-man needs to think of something if he wants to survive against an opponent who directly attacks his weakness.
A tough battle for Man-man to win.
