The sinned soul attacks one of the Puppets but it dodges. However, it couldn't dodge the attack that is coming from behind by Skin and so it gets killed. She lifts the body up with her polearm (dicky) and throws it away.
The puppet's dead then turns into a sinned soul and it goes after other puppets. Skin's plan sure is working better than expected. But there should be eight puppets. Why are there nine now?
Did she count wrong? She isn't the most educated of Chosen. But she knows how to count at least. If it isn't a counting mistake then it means one thing only.
One of them is the real Midori.
It is hard to tell which one is the actual Midori because few puppets are mirroring her face and body. Skin observes each and every puppet with the face of Midori. But can't find which one is the real one.
It is hard to tell what could be the difference. Or could it be that all of them are fake?
Skin notices from her peripheral that one puppet has knocked out one of two sinned souls. She has one arm like every other Midori she saw before but it is obvious now that she is the real.
There is real difference between the strength of a fake Midori and a real Midori. The Midori that killed the sinned soul used her weapon, mace, as it is intended to be used. Her power is almost frightening and her skill is a spitting image of the puppets.
It is clear to Skin that Midori's combat abilities are also being mirrored by the puppets. But why is can she used two blessing?
At first, Skin can't wrap her head around that. But after talking to Man-man about Frozen blessing. She deduced that Midori is also just using another blessing. One blessing let her make puppets and other let her use Mirroring.
Skin has lost one sinned soul but at least she has gained some knowledge on Midori. What is that knowledge? Well, Midori is stronger than her puppets and if she were to take part in the fight. Her fighting style would be different as she is using an actual mace.
Even though she knows that her plan hasn't changed much. She would still try to kill every puppet and then deal with the puppeteer.
Skin makes her move towards the real looking Midori who just killed a sinned soul. But she is ambushed by other puppets with the same face. The real Midori also joined them and so Skin loses track of the real one.
'This is pain…'
She fights almost five puppets and one Midori at once. Other four are nowhere to be seen so she guesses that they're invisible.
Skin continues to fight and each blow with the puppet is like a puzzle. It is impossible to tell what weapon are they using and because of their arm isn't visible as Midori also has one arm. She can't determine what attack might be coming her way.
She is thrilled by this battle. This is the exact rush she needed after going through the memories of her dreadful past. It is still haunting her. She can't get over it just cause Man-man shared his own trauma with her. But it comforting to know that who she loves is brave enough to share his past with her. It makes her happy.
She can't wait to meet him and tell him how she killed this Bitch.
Skin's bright smile and red eyes are terrifying. A demon born from hell and lives for violence. She ignores other five Midori and focuses on one. It doesn't matter if she is stabbed a thousand times. Her focus is fixed and she kills that one puppet by stabbing it through the neck.
Every one Midori has attack her and harmed her significantly. But it doesn't seem to be much effect. She isn't bleeding and her wounds are already healing. Midori's has changed her placed and gone invisible. She has observed it long enough and she is starting to see her own flaws too.
Midori can't fight from the shadows. If she does her puppets will only be killed one after another. She has to fight one on one.
The puppet Skin kills turn into a sinned soul and other puppets move away from her range. She laughs manically. She is enjoying this cat and mouse game. At first, it was annoying but now it is just straight up enjoyment.
However, now every fake Midori has changed back into their original face and they've made a circle around Skin.
"Now what you going to do?"
Skin grins with excitement. She isn't sure what is she planning but whatever it is have to be enjoyable.
She observes every puppet but doesn't see any moment for ten seconds but then a figure suddenly appears. It is Midori and she is near the newly made sinned soul.
There are still two sinned souls. But attacks Midori and gets themselves killed with one shot. Her attack is devastating that each of them turns into smithereens.
Skin and Midori's eyes meet. And after a second, Midori speak.
"You want a dual, vermin?"
Midori answers mockingly.
"Took you long enough to get it…"
They look at determine each other's strength for one second and then they move in the blink of a second to kill each other.
Midori swings her weapon towards Skin. She uses her on weapon (dicky) to fight her. Both of their fighting style and weapons are different. But both are showing the same hatred for each other.
However, Skin might be the only one who is enjoying the most. Midori is precise and dangerously accurate with he moves. Her target is to eliminate her enemy and move on. She doesn't have time to enjoy.
A guideless God's Chosen is nothing but purposeless soul. However, that could be said for everyone. Nobody has a purpose in life. But that emptiness is much deeper in the hearts of a Guideless Chosen.
Midori has no connection to this world. She is just following orders and doing what has to be done. She is a Guideless Chosen and for them finding their own Guide is the greatest of all desire.
Currently, Guideless Chosen are working towards finding a way to escape this hell and move outwards towards the heaven.
The hell is at the center and more you move away from it. The close you get to the heaven. What is heaven? That is needed to be found. Nobody actually knows what heaven even looks like. It is just theory made with blessings and clues from ancient writings of Gods.
Midori maybe also want to see Heaven. Would this be how they will finally be free? She doesn't know that.
It is fair say that road to heaven is terrifyingly dangerous. The hell is surrounded by the most dangerous Sinned soul. These sinned souls might as be a smaller god in of itself.
Midori may not know how to kill a god. But she will try to move with every other guideless Chosen towards their goal of leaving hell.
So, she wouldn't let herself be bested by Skin. A Chosen who can't even see the bigger picture. A Chosen who doesn't even care about what is her purpose or why is she even born. Why are they Chosen? What is a Chosen? Why is this world like this?
These questions are meaningless to Skin.
Her bloody body that has endured Midori's Mace's attacks. Each attack is like getting hit with a tank. It should've killed Skin but no, it didn't her blessing is much for powerful. Her love for herself is far too strong. Now that she can heal herself. She might be unstoppable.
Midori has suffered much more and she has no way of healing. In this battle, she wanted to end it sooner because she knew if she didn't. Her opponent will win eventually. So, she put everything in this fight.
But Skin isn't something that can ever be stopped. She is much stronger than Midori. In a straight fight, she had to win.
Midori still hasn't given up. If she keeps on attacking. Maybe she can kill Skin. But she couldn't even continue the battle as her other arm has even cut off from her body. Skin torn off her other arm and now she is without any weapon.
"What are you looking at? Kill me already…"
Midori has fought even after losing her other arm. But it was a pointless effort. Now she is just laying on the around, helpless.
Skin looks at her and a disturbing smile creep up on her face. Then she asks Midori.
"Do you remember…?"
Midori looks at Skin in confusion as she gets close. Then she uses her polearm (Dicky) and pierces Midori with it through her left thigh then pushes it deep until it comes out of her shoulders.
Midori feels pain as it happens. She is barely alive though. Then the polearm seemed to be pushed back and forth. It hurts so much that Midori can't breathe and she is so close to dying. But she is still alive just because she is a Chosen.
"I told you, didn't I? I will rape you."
Skin used her Polearm (Dicky) as a sex toy. It looks arousing to Skin but to anyone else it would just look like petty torture.
Then then leaves for a bit and goes to kill her puppets. She doesn't have her Mace with her so she can't command them. Skin doesn't have any interest in having puppets either. So, she will kill them one by one in front of Midori.
"Remember to watch…"
She goes to each puppet and rip their heads one after another. She experiences no resistance from the puppets as they're just puppets.
Only way to get free from Mace's power is by removing the mark that is left by the mace. If not removed, the Chosen will stay a puppet without a puppeteer.
Midori watches it all and death of every puppet. After that, Skin comes back and starts fucking Midori with her polearm. Or is it just torturing cause the polearm isn't even in the right spot? At least, Skin looks happy.
Midori didn't really have any dream or anything important. She just wanted to have a purpose and that's all. Now she will die and be free from this hell forever.
However, she does have a regret. A regret of not fulfilling her promise to someone.
Skin kept on going and going. It was just so much fun. Around her, Sinned souls are waking up from the corpses of the puppets. The Midori's corpse also turns to a sinned soul.
Not just that but it is also half invisible. A very interesting sinned soul that Skin has to kill now before going back to the king's chamber.
"Time passes so quickly when you are having fun…"
She laughs as sinned soul attacks. Her battle isn't over yet and her violence hasn't satiated.
