Man-man notices Skin's body healing. He has never seen her heal herself so he has assumed that she couldn't but apparently, she could.
Did she block her own blessing to not heal her? Was it a conscious decision or subconscious? Man-man isn't sure but if she is healing that means what he said has change her in some way.
Skin has met many Chosen that may are much more powerful than Man-man. He doesn't believe himself to be anything unique but currently, he thinks that he has became a big part of her life. Did he want that? No, not really. Whatever he said was just illogically. That's all there is to it.
He can't love anyone. And this time it is also the same. He had ulterior motives. Those ulterior were simple. He was injured and he can't find the frozen blessing in that state. So, he just manipulated her into healing him so he can accomplish his task.
And that's exactly what is happening. Her healing has grown strong on him and his body is healing. So, he used his own blessing to put his bones back together so he can heal faster.
He will be healed with her.
But was it all? Is this all he wanted? Man-man isn't sure. His emotions aren't non-existent and there are no emotions on his face. His world is grey and he doesn't want to see further.
Skin, on the other hand, feels a deep warmth in her soul. Her memories are still weighting on her. But her love for Man-man can his love for her is healing her.
She isn't assuming that he loves her. She is sure of it. There is that connection that she been looking for her whole life. She can feel it. The love between the two.
Both are in their own worlds. One can't understand what is the point of it and other has accepted them to be connected. Such an oddity.
Skin's flesh heals throughout her whole body. Her wounds, her burnt flesh, her inside and every part of her is recovering and changing. It shouldn't be possible but it is happening.
It is like the laws that govern this world is ignore her. She changes cause of love and she is born anew.
Both let each other go and Man-man get to see her with his own two eyes. She looks much more symmetric and her flesh is normal now. Every injury in her body is healed. There is still some dried blood on her face and hair but it isn't stopping him to see her beauty.
Beauty? Actually, Man-man still can't distinguish between this Skin and past Skin. They are only superficially changed but they're still the same Chosen. He can't understand this beauty thinge even now.
Skin is calm now. The storm in her heart is settled and it looks like she is deep in her thought. Soon, though she comes out her thinking and speaks to Man-man after a taking a deep breathe.
"Man-man, I'm sorry for hurting you."
He hears her words and question if this is the same person as before. Her voice is much clearer, she looks much calm and even collected with her emotions. Her wild energy is almost gone form the time he met her. Or is she pretending to be like this?
He notices some nervousness in her body. She seemed to be fiddling with her fingers and looking around the surroundings but not at him.
'She's shy now? Why?'
Skin also isn't sure but looking at him make her heart feel much warmer than before and calm. But that doesn't mean she is comfortable with those feeling. They're new but not unwelcoming.
Man-man judges her and find safe to stand up. He wants to see the thing that caused this incident. That crown.
"It is okay."
Skin feels relaxed after hearing that. She thought after almost killing him. He would hate her or something. She had made a whole scenario in her head where she would beg for forgiveness. Or maybe try to seduce him in some way.
Skin is already starting to think about sex. However right now, she can't even hold his hand without going all red.
"Skin? Did you touch this thing?"
Skin hears his words and stands up. She notices her body feel lighter and there is no pain. She feels light and a little comfortable in her own skin. Before she barely had skin. But now, she has a good amount of skin on her body. Now her name is good on her as she actually Skin now.
She walks towards Man-man and notices the Crown that made her remember all her memories. It makes her mad but she also doesn't want to be close to it.
"Yeah, that is the thing. Weird thing."
Man-man speaks.
"That is a Frozen blessing. A blessing that is frozen in time within an object."
Skin has never heard of something like that. She never paid much attention to anything like that. Why would she ever pay attention to something that isn't related to violence?
"What happened when you touched it?"
She replies.
"It hurt a lot. I think I felt like something inside of me growing or taking shape. Something that doesn't belong there and that memory think that happened too. It was weirdly painful. A type of pain I never felt before. Yeah."
Man-man ignores the crown. He has no interest in dealing with things that might kill him just by touching it. He also isn't after this blessing. He wants to find something else.
Both of them, leaves the chamber. Man-man has concluded this to be the chamber of the king. There is no doubt in his body for that.
That cursed crown is a prove of that and the environment inside of the chamber also prove that. This find proves that even inside of the mountainous soul. The structure is still holding its shape. If that is the case, then his search can become easier.
But for that, he needs to get away from Skin.
"Skin? Have you killed Midori yet?"
Skin face is much more expressive now as there are no burnt marks on her face. So, it is much easier to see her expression. After hearing his words, she looks annoyed.
"No. I did encounter but she managed to get away with her weird blessing or something."
Man-man got the chance that he needed.
"You should go and try to find her then. She is a guideless Chosen. So, she would definitely come here."
Skin's crazy smile comes back on her face.
"Let's go then. We both will kill her for sure."
Man-man makes another excuse.
"I need to find something else for myself. It is very important to me."
Skin asks.
"Is it a frozen blessing?"
Man-man thinks about it a little and then nods.
"Okay. But remember to come here outside this room after you've found your weird thinge. I'll be here too after killing that bitch. Okay?"
Man-man answers with okay and then Skin hugs him for a second and leaves.
Man-man talks to himself.
"Why was that so easy?"
He isn't sure. She should be more cautious of him, shouldn't she? Why did he believe him so easily? He can't wrap her head around what is she thinking at all?
Or is it genuine trust?
"I hope we get to meet again too."
So, Man-man leaves too. He isn't sure why but he also doesn't want to lie to her right now. Maybe he will meet her one last time again outside the king's chamber.
However, this won't happen and he will become a liar. That is because he will not return.
