Skin enters the strange structure. It shouldn't really even be called a structure though. It is like just ruins of many broken walls and pieces that may or may not be made by humans.
Common senses says that it isn't made by humans.
The place is also littered with sinned souls. So, Skin is occupied with killing all these creatures.
Man-man in the back is glad to have her now and back then too. She really did save her life again. Since he met, he is living under her protection. She might also be a threat to his life. But he would be lying if he doesn't find her helpful in this Hell.
Like right now. He gets to be free and judge this whole ruin and she gets to play her favorite thing, violence and only violence.
Man-man observes this odd place. He senses oddness here. It is foreign in nature and doesn't feel right. It is like it shouldn't even exist right now. It is like something is still keep this remanent of this place alive.
There is some unknown power at place. Because it is obvious that without that unknown power the whole place wouldn't exist. It would collapse under the weight and chaos caused by Chosen and this mountainous soul itself.
Man-man suspects that living inside of a sinned soul wouldn't be pleasant.
Now onto the main topic.
What can he gather from this place. What knowledge can be acquired from here and what is it hiding.
He looks around the walls and anything that is remaining in these ruins. The place really just a ruin now. It is impossible to tell how this place once looked like. He can't even tell what kind of structure it should've been.
It is a temple or a castle or entirely something else.
He observes the ruined rocked that look man-made or made by some other intelligent creature. And he finds writing on it. It is in a language that is different but not entirely unknown to Man-man.
The world itself isn't big. There are only four few regions in this world. So, language didn't change much with time. There are many languages but there are many similarities between them. Cause all languages evolve in a contained environment that isn't as big as it seemed.
Even this language looks quite recognizable to him. He is much more educated than most Chosen. That is because he came in hell to find the secrets of hell. So, having knowledge about languages is handy.
The writing on the ruined walls is a mixture of nine different languages. Few aren't used as much as the other. But he can see that there is some odd use of pieces from each one.
It is like a puzzle. A puzzle that is made to be deciphered by someone like him.
A little chill crawls through his spine and he let some emotion show on his face. He can understand that languages can shape themself through other languages. But this is specifically been made to contain all the necessary tools to solve it.
'It is made by a Chosen. So, could this be a lost civilization? Instead of a temple?'
Lost civilization can also worship Gods and have some unknown knowledge about them. But this is too suspicious. That is because they're not worshipping the six Gods.
According to the writing, they worship a human. And it sounds like that human was a Chosen.
The writing says that the people believed in someone who was benevolent and selfless. It blessed their mortal skin with Its own power so they could live in hell.
The kind soul was a God in flesh and blood. They called it a King instead of a God though. That is because the God like creature didn't want to be divine and loss the touch with its subjects.
A God is far too cruel. Unlike the King.
Man-man reads through the words and try to piece the things together. Even though it is quite comprehensible by him. The years of existing inside of this mountainous soul has made it lost few of its pieces.
He just has to piece together the story all on his own.
He read more and understand this isn't some outside humans that came in hell to live. These are a totally different creature and their survival only become possible because of this King character.
What was this King's blessing? Man-man can't piece it together with the clue that are presented to him right now. It is missing many pieces.
There are other characters like King too.
There are Pawns, bishop, Rock, knight, queen and a jester. The writing used on jester also says that jester never existed. Or it is just a faker. So, perhaps there are only five other main characters, other than king itself.
There isn't much else written about them though, only a little knowledge about the knight.
According to the writing, the knight was a mountain under its armor. It devoured sinners and other of its kind. Why? Because it wanted to re-make its master from the corpse of these creatures. The master also spoke from the armor. Those words weren't understood by anyone.
Man-man wonder if this is about the centaur looking armor. He isn't sure what sort of threat it is. Even Skin had difficulty dealing with it.
But currently, he needs to focus on finding anything useful form this writing. He wants to find a frozen blessing that he came in hell to find.
He reads to the whole writing that is left on the walls. The more he reads, he understands that this person was just a single person who wrote this whole thing for someone to find.
Could it be that this writing is made specifically for him to find? He could be small cog it a big machine. But he doesn't have time to think about the origin of this writing.
He needs to find that Blessing of-
Then Man-man hears a loud scream. It is a scream of Skin. He can't understand what could make someone like her scream? That just sounds impossible. What is happening?
He needs to check it out for his own safety too. He needs to understand the threat to survive. So, he reluctantly leaves the writing on the wall and runs towards the screams.
The last thing he read is 'The Re-birth of the King'.

Skin kills each sinned souls in quite violent ways. Her polearm (Dicky) isn't much useful because of less shape. But she is still making use of it and if she can't just use bites the sinned souls and crush their bones in her teeth.
Her whole body is covered in a mixture of her own blood and other vile guts of sinned souls. She doesn't seem to mind it though. He actually loves it. it makes happy.
This is happy, isn't it? Losing oneself into something that is pleasant. Skin would call this love.
She is a Chosen who is far too complex and never sit to one thing. She lives in the present. So, if she is having sex with Man-man then that is her love and if she is murder creatures then that is her love.
There is nothing sacred for her. Everything is replaceable as long as the love that she is getting is likeable. She would do anything to get the love that she wants. Skin is a monster that is forever hungry for love or is it lust?
There isn't much difference between both for Skin.
She kills and kills even more. Then she finally reaches a breakpoint. Every sinned soul's corpse is laying under her feet and she is on top stretching her body.
"This is the life I love. So, much pleasure."
She admires her work and moves. But her attention is caught by something shiny and alluring.
She enters a room that is quite spacious than the rest of the place. She isn't sure what is this place is exactly. Is it a house or a garden?
For Skin, this place doesn't have any significant or it doesn't catch any of her curiosity. She is indifferent to it. She maybe should've asked Man-man about what is this place about. But she was too caught up in killing so she didn't get any chance.
"Man-man would like this place."
She knows what interests him and what doesn't. She observes him all the time so it is quite easy for her to say.
But that shiny thing even catching her attention. Maybe she should get closer to it and see what is it. So, she does.
She goes closer to a throne looking structure. She has never seen isn't like that before so she can't tell what is it. All she can say is that this is just some rocks that are placed in a specific way. For some reason.
She finally finds the shiny thing and it is a… Crown. A dark Crown. It is bewitching and quite tempting.
Skin is a Chosen who let her temptation get the better of her. So, she touches the dark crown out of curiosity. Maybe she can show it to Man-man.
"He would surely like it. This would be my gift to-"
Her world trembles and her mind explode with unknown power. She can feel some coursing through her body and brain.
The unknown power is deepening her mind and memories. She can feel strength and feel weakness. It is quite confusing what is happening. She can't put it into words.
Not just that, she can feel a little change in her blessing. Her blessing feels different for second. It is like holding it makes her far different than before. She is stronger and far more- but it doesn't matter.
She drops the crown and mumbles to her as tears flows through her eyes.
"I didn't kill them."
The crown didn't just unlock her power. But it also revived her forgotten memories. The memories she had forgotten. Each memory is etched into her mind with great details.
She has remembered something she never wanted to remember again.
"They are still alive and happy."
Her body can't hand it again. She had blocked off her mistakes. Her shame. Her fears.
Her sins.
"I didn't kill my mom and dad."
And she screams in agony. A scream that is filled with pain and trauma.
She has remembered.
