The mountainous soul's is an amalgamation of sinned souls. The complete mountainous soul had approximately 10000 sinned souls. The first fight between the mountainous soul and the Chosen made it loss almost 5000 thousand sinned souls.
Now only 5000 souls are left remaining within itself. To kill it completely, every soul is needed to be killed or kill enough that the mountainous soul can't hold its shape anymore and separates from itself.
Chosen love killing sinned souls. They're born to kill them. Or made to kill these creatures of sin. However, that desire to kill is the reason why Chosen is hated so much.
Because if sinned souls aren't anywhere to kill. Chosen can just make sinned souls to kill by just killing each other or ordinary humans.
Violence is all that Chosen are born to do. That's why, a mountain of sinned soul is like a feast to a Chosen. They can't resist it.
Even Man-man who doesn't feel much emotion can't help by be excited to kill these sinned souls. However, even though he is excited. There is no expression to be seen on his face.
Skin has already left him and ran to kill the souls of the mountainous soul. She is severely wounded but that doesn't affect her much. It is established that she will kiss him even if her body is on fire. So, why not also say that she will kill even if her limbs are broken off.
Man-man isn't sure how that would even work. How would she use her polearm? It is just a hypothetical but does make him think why is he thinking about her all the time.
Though he doesn't really have time to think about her currently as he is also killing these sinned souls.
The ground explodes all around him. It is hard to find a solid place to stand on and he is trying to run. Sinned souls are also crawling out of the ground.
Each sinned soul is attached to a cord. Man-man theory is that this is an umbilical cord. However, it works in reverse. Instead of the body providing food or energy to the creature. This provides energy to the main body which is the mountainous soul itself.
An amalgamation of souls can turn into a single entity. But this one isn't that yet. It is still at its infant stages. Or even later stage than that.
Man-man knows that threat that it poses. But when think of this whole creature as an infant. He can't help but be fearful. If not for the sinned soul this mountainous soul can become even more terrifying.
This broken cycle of life and death is horror. There is no peace for anyone. There is no heaven to be gain after death. There is no relief. Everyone will become a sinned soul.
Because dying is a sin. All who dies are sinners. But what about those who come to life? Who are born? Man-man isn't sure what are they. Are humans saint before their death?
'NO.'
He knows that even if a human or a Chosen is alive or dead. They still always be a sinned soul.

Sinned souls crawl out of the surface of the world. Each is different form the other but as deadly as the other.
Few have irregular shapes, other are abominations made of human organs and rest of them are just horror incarnation. They fear inducing creatures are violent and hunger for death and even more death.
But that won't wake any kind of fear in the hearts of Chosen. Chosen themselves are monsters. They thrive on death and destruction. Killing is all that these creatures can ever think of.
However, not everyone is like that. Not everyone is free of free.
Re-purr managed to escape the flood of blood. But got separated from Man-man doing so.
'Doesn't matter. I don't want ever see that jerk face again. Hope he dies or something.'
She runs away from the danger. She isn't stronger enough to kill anyone or anything. She uses a makeshift flail that she made using bones and intestines of sinned souls and a big rock.
Even if she had a good weapon. She won't be able to fight that well. She never trained for anything. She just did meaningless things like made cat toys for herself or hide in a dark cave to sleep. That's what cats do, right?
She maybe isn't qualified to be a Chosen.
However, she is a Chosen and when the mountainous soul emerged from the ground. She couldn't help but salivate. She wanted to kill the sinned soul too. But even if her desire made her want to do it.
There was something else that stopped her. That is fear. If she were to die then she would just become a sinned soul too. She fears that. She fears this world so much. Anything can kill her and make her a sinned soul.
Dying is a sin and she never want to do that. She wants to live forever in peace as a cat. Slack off and eat good food.
But despite that, she can't help but watch, from far away, the emergence of the mountainous soul. It is quite mesmerizing and thought of killing this creature is pure joy.
Re-purr loves it. She wishes that she could kill them too.
Then someone's hand touches her shoulder and she jumps like a cat.
"Re-purr, it's me. Tuff. Stop being so jumpy, you idiot."
It is her friends. Tuff, Coal and Sora. Everyone is here. They all are hurt severely and Tuff's whole skin is falling apart. His armor skin is broken up into pieces.
He doesn't seem to care though and just watches as the mountainous soul wakes up.
"Can you see it? It is the mountainous soul. I want to kill it so bad."
Re-purr can't believe that they still want to participate in it. There body is hurt everywhere but that bloodlust isn't gone.
'Why can't I be like them.'
Sora speaks.
"Are you okay, Re-purr? We lost you during fight. We thought you died but then we saw you standing here all by yourself. Are you incapable of moving?"
Re-purr doesn't know how to say that she was just petrified when the mountainous soul emerged. She just stared at the havoc like a curious cat without even paying any attention.
Luckily, her bad luck didn't feel like killing her at that moment. So, she survived. Not to mention, she encountered her friends too.
'Maybe my bad luck is on a break. Lucky me, I guess.'
She has to make a choice. Should she go with them and fight the mountainous soul as her heart desire. Or run away because she is fearful.
Re-purr isn't very much help to Sora, Tuff and Coal. She is actually useless and can't even protect herself. Why did they even let her join them?
'Oh yeah, because Sora felt pity on me.'
That is right. On some dark night, these three saved her form a sinned soul. She was close to dying a pathetic death. But they saved her and kept her with them out of pity.
Sora is a kind Chosen. That's what Re-purr thinks. She isn't sure what happened to her as a child. Coal only told her that she didn't have any family as a child so now she just takes any Chosen who she felt a little pity on as her family.
Tuff and Coal were spared by her. She could've killed them but she didn't and now they stay with her.
Re-purr also want to do that. But unlike Tuff and Coal. She is useless. Sora is kind but she doesn't like useless family members. She tortures Re-purr many times and she is fine with it.
It doesn't matter if Sora abuses her. She still protects her, right? So, she wants to follow her and both of them too. She calls them friends and she will try to better herself. So, she has made her decision.
She will go with them.
However, before Re-purr words escapes her mouth. An unfamiliar voice speaks.
"Aren't you going to kill that big sinned soul?'
Tuff is stabbed form behind out of nowhere. The blade that he is stabbed by is thinner than usual. She can't even believe that something like that can even pierce his through his skin.
Everyone watches in shock as Tuff falls to the ground. Then everyone makes their move. Coal swings his great sword at the enemy but he disappears from the position to towards the point of his thin sword.
The sword that he uses is a Rapier. The Chosen who is using the weapon is quite slim and dandy.
Sora's limbs extend and attack the enemy. However, he dodges the attack by going lightening fast towards the direction he points his rapier at.
Sora and Coal move to attack their opponent. Tuff is on the ground in severe pain. Re-purr just stands their numb.
'No. Please don't.'
Sora's limbs move and spread to surround the enter area. Coal runs with his great sword towards the enemy. He is blocking his front so he can't use that weird technique of his at him.
But it doesn't do anything. He points his rapier slight to the left and then when he is at the back of Coal. He points it towards Coal's back and the rapier moves him towards him.
Coal tries to block but that lightening fast speed is impossible to block. He gets stabs.
That gives Sora a chance to grab them and screams.
"YOU BASTARD."
However, that isn't enough to contain him. He just points it somewhere else and gets free off her grip.
Sora observes where did he went. Then she saw him pointing his rapier at her body. She is main body is far in the sky. She had accepted her to be out of his rapier's reach.
But as she blinks. The rapier is in her stomach and he is near her face.
"My apologizes for killing you. But someone has to clear the useless and the weak."
Sora's limbs slip and she falls to the ground.
'No. It is my turn now. I am going to die now.'
Re-purr is numb with fear. She can't move at all throughout the slaughtering of her friends. She couldn't do anything but be fearful and frozen.
However, now that all of them have fallen. He would be coming for her now. His rapier is already pointing at her. He will kill her for sure. There is no going surviving without fighting.
'Please feel pity on me. I am a pathetic cat please don't kill me'
He disappears from his position and that means he is coming for him. He will kill her and she can't block his attack. It is impossible for her.
She waits to get stabbed but nothing happened. Then that voice falls in her ears.
"Well, I feel pity on you. You can go."
Re-purr thinks to herself.
'Wait! Did he read my mind?'
The man answers.
"Yeah, I can read minds. That is my blessing. My name is Reaper who has a blessing that makes it possible to read mind."
Re-purr questions if this is his blessing then how can he move like that? She thought that lightening fast movement is his blessing.
How can a Chosen have two blessing? That isn't possible.
"Well, that is easy to answer. This rapier is actually a frozen blessing. Isn't it cool? Its name is [Rock's Clash]. With it, I can instantly move wherever I point this rapier in a direction on my command. Isn't that overpowered?"
Re-purr can't believe that frozen blessings are real. She had heard about it but she doubted it a little. But now seeing one in action. She is surprised by how strong it can be.
She is lost in thought after hearing about the frozen blessing. But she is brought back to reality instantly by Reaper with a slap on her face.
"Aren't you the pathetic victim here? Praying that you survive while your, so called, friends are being killed."
Re-purr at him with terror.
'No. That's not true. They're my friends. I didn't want them to-'
Reaper continues.
"Really? But I heard that you were only thinking of herself. Like 'please feel pity on me. I am a pathetic cat please don't kill me'. Isn't that what you were thinking?"
Re-purr stares at him in disbelief.
What were she saying before? She was going to make a decision to go with them and finally face her fear. She was going to try and take a shot at the mountainous soul. She was going to act like a real Chosen.
Reaper slaps her again.
"Honestly, you are disgusting. You act one way but when situation changes and then you act another way. It is quite pathetic. Are you that pretentious? Like seriously? Why can't you just die? Just kill yourself honestly. Hearing you talk in your head was so annoying. Like man, get out of your head. You don't matter. Stay in your tiny cat world and die."
Re-purr's been hearing it from everyone. She only thinks of herself and never about what outside. Even Sora tortured her and belittled her for being this way. She never tired and just called herself weak because she could.
She falls on her knees and tears fall from her eyes.
'No. I am sorry. I didn't mean to. I will do better next time. I am sorry. I am sorry.'
Reaper speaks.
"Our name are quite similar. Reaper and Re-purr. Yours is a pun though. Just so quirky, isn't it? Well, it doesn't matter and what you are saying doesn't matter either. You won't try. You will give up the next day. So, just stop and maybe lick the dirt where I stepped on. Maybe then I'll let you live."
Fear, shame and self-hate. She can't think of anything else. Why is she like this? Why can't she be a normal Chosen? Be bloodthirsty and ruthless. She craves blood but is not strong- No. She is lying and he is telling the truth.
Without thinking, she licks the dirt of the ground where he just stepped on.
Reaper sighs and stab her hand.
"You really are pathetic. Well, whatever. They will kill you anyway. That looks like a fitting end for you."
Then he disappears.
Now in front of her, Tuff, Coal and Sora's body is rising. They've turned into a sinned soul and they will kill her.
She watches them and almost accepts her fate. But she is frustrated and angry. Why is this happening to her?
How can her luck me this bad? She has nothing else but her luck to blame. This is all her blessing fault that she encountered someone like him. She will blame her blessing for everything.
That means, she has to deal with it.
She is tired. She is so tired and ashamed of herself. Whatever he said was right. She is pathetic and she never tired to fight. So, now she will try.
She will kill them no matter what. She will kill her friends that have turned into sinned soul.
No, that isn't right. She never saw them as friends. She only stayed with them because she is pathetic. She only cried because she is feeling pity for herself right now. She never was a friend.
She was a traitor. So, she will be a traitor and kill them. She will now die or kill and prove that she can do something. She is a Chosen and she will kill them no matter what.
She picks up her flail and screams in pain. The sinned souls also have woken up and now they're going to attack her now.
This fight will be insignificant in the grand scheme. It won't even matter to anyone else. When compared to the fight against the mountainous soul. Her fight is so small that it has no meaning. But it will only matter to Re-purr.
And only her. A Chosen.
