The boiling blood of hell is a mystery of hell. It is unclear weather it is actually the blood of hell itself. Or blood of million creatures that battled hundred years ago. These creatures were said to be the first resident of hell. They lived here.
If there was a battle though. Then a question arises, why the blood of the fallen creature's flow through hell like that. It should've disappeared a long time ago. But it didn't. It means something.
Is it a curse that fell on the resident of hell? Or was it done was a Chosen that had a blessing related to this type of power. It is unclear. Everything is unclear and just speculation.
Hell is mysterious. But a mindless killing machine doesn't care about mysterious or secrets.
The [Unholy knight] a frozen blessing. A frozen blessing that has its own consciousness.
It is unclear but a blessing can form its own Will if the blessing is powerful enough and has vessel that it occupies a little broken. Or empty. That is why there are instances when a Soulless Chosen can just be a consciousness of blessing.
A soulless Chosen has no Will or any desires. They're just empty human vessels with a blessing. If a blessing won't gain consciousness within a soulless Chosen then it remains an empty living corpse.
That is a reason why there are almost no soulless Chosen in hell. They're must too rare.
A frozen blessing is still much rarer than a soulless Chosen. So, the existence of the unholy knight is too mysterious.
The blood that swept it form its feet. But the cursed blood can't keep it away from the violence of the hell.
The knight dugs the [Path given by bishop] into the ground and gains its footing. Time passes and the blood stream assaults the knight with the hell's blood.
Its armor weakens but doesn't break. Its will is terrifyingly firm and determined to break through the blood.
Time continuous to pass and finally the force of blood stream decreases. Letting the knight free of the cursed blood.
It has weakened severely. Its armor has corroded but it still held. The sinned souls within it still moves and exists. The amalgamation that is created within it isn't lethal. Perhaps, not as large as the mountainous soul but it is ancient. Much more ancient than mountainous soul.
The armor has weakened but it can still contain it. The amalgamation is still within the [Unholy knight].
Unfortunately, its reserves of energy didn't die yet. So, it can still move but only barely. A beast such as the knight can't contain its hunger anymore.
The hell is littered with sinned souls. In this dark night, there is a feast that is calling it. The feast of sinned souls.
The mountainous soul's body is a mountain and its amalgamated souls are still desires violence. The knight desires the same.
In no time, it gets the fuel it needs. The sinned souls rush to attack whatever moves. The knight's human chest open and reveal thousands of razor shape teeth. But the sinned souls won't just get in.
The knight needs to bring them near it. That's where this another blessing comes into play, [Path given by Bishop].
It throws the large spear towards the sinned soul. But it dodges the attack by a hair's breadth. However, it didn't account from the spear's return.
The spear pierces the sinned soul and flies it towards the knight. Then into the maw of the knight. The knight gains the strength to move. Its hunger isn't satiated yet.
The knight attacks another sinned soul with it spear and then it devours whatever comes its way. Nothing is spared, even the Chosen are being killed and turned in sinned souls before devouring.
Its attacks always manage to kill the Chosen in one shot. But a sinned soul's body is a mess and there is no proper weak point to them. Not to mention, being combined with the mountainous soul makes them much more unpredictable.
It does give them a subtle weak point. The cord that connects the sinned souls and the mountainous soul's main body together.
But knight isn't as humanoid as a Chosen. Its instincts main resemble a Chosen but it is all just pure violence and hunger. The blessing can gain consciousness but gaining actual intelligence needs more time and different experiences.
For now, the knight's existence in blood valley is a boon. It is mass slaughtering sinned souls and reducing the number of sinned souls. It is also consuming them and increasing the potency of what it within itself.
The continues killing will increase its strength and may even feed the sinned soul inside of it enough that it can evolve. But nothing can go smoothly. it encounters someone who can hold itself against the knight. A pure dark figure with two sludge hammers type weapon in its hands. It is Mor.
"You look interesting to kill."
Beside him, a disgusting naked looking person who lacks any skin on its body. It is painful even looking at him. But despite that, he is killing sinned souls with his blessing which is to just spring out bones from his entire body.
His name is Calus and he is the man who was tortured by Midori. Then he was kept as a worker of Mor.
It could be said that Mor felt pity on him. His sympathetic nature made it possible for Calus to survive. He doesn't really like it though. No Chosen would like to be live on pity.
Calus also doesn't want to live like this. But running away from Mor is impossible and suicide isn't really in Calus's bucket list. So, he is trapped with him as his soldier.
"So, Mor-ron. You are going to kill it then."
Mor glances at his new recruit. He isn't much strong or have any mannerism. But Mor believe that numbers is power so having another Chosen in his group won't hurt.
He doesn't care about how these Chosen behave. He isn't strict and doesn't care how things are going around as long as the Chosen is following orders. Mor also believe that freedom is where strength blooms. So, he never holds anyone back.
However, his new recruit sure has a foul tongue. Mor doesn't really care about it though. People in his past has called him with worst name. Calus's words are actually quick amusing. Mor finds Puns funny.
The knight isn't going to wait for any declaration of war. It has seen its prey so it will attack with full force.
It throws its large spear at Mor. The spear moves at incredible speed at Mor. He is pretty sensitive so he has much more grasp of its strength. This weapon of the Knight isn't normal.
Mor can distinguish between that easily. That is because of his skin has suffered from excessive poisoning. Due to that, his skin is sensitive and made his senses quick strong.
The large spear reaches Mor but before it could enter his flesh. Two sludge hammer hits the spear and throws it off course.
Calus observes it and feels a chill down his spine. His moment isn't wild or erratic. There is purpose in his moment and every motion is perfect. Not to mention, the sheer strength behind that attack. Blocking a spear of that size should have made any Chosen move or move back.
But Mor is straight and indifferent. It is like that attack did nothing to his body. All the force of the Spear disappeared.
Without anymore wait, now Mor moves towards the knight. The large spear also reaches back into the hands of the knight. Both attack each other in destructive strength.
Calus can feel the strength of both individual. That knight creature is strong and attacks like a profession. Even though it is just a sinned soul. Its strength is also quite high. One hit from that large spear will break every bone in his body.
But even after directly blocking the hit of the knight. Mor is unshaken. There is no change in his body. Instead, the much larger knight almost moves back a little cause of that clash.
'It has to be something related to his blessing.'
Mor blessing isn't quite obvious from one look. But observing him for few days can tell you that it is impossible to move him. He is like a mountain in the shape of a man.
Mor's blessing is basically erasing any force that is acted on him. Any attack on his body will result in no damage on him. Any force that may try to move him will fail.
It is like he is breaking the laws of the world. Energy can't be created nor destroyed. But Mor's blessing can literally destroy any force that acts on him. It is like he is invincible.
However, if he is invincible. Blocking attacks of his opponent wouldn't make sense. Why block if it won't even harm him?
Calus observes the fight and notices something. Mor is dodging getting hit by the sharp point of the spear. He is blocking it and keep it at a distance from him.
'Could it be that he isn't invincible against getting stabbed? Maybe only blunt attacks will be erased. But other attacks will be as effective against him as a normal Chosen, right? Maybe I can try back stabbing him later. But…'
Calus doesn't seem to be want to act on that though. Watching him fight that metal monster is quite terrifying. His fighting skills are fast and quick even with those heavy sludge hammer like weapons.
Mor against his opponent who is quite unique is a sense does give off a presence of a Chosen. But Mor can tell that it is a Sinned soul. Or whatever inside of it is a sinned soul.
However, that sinned soul doesn't seem to be controlling it. This move set can never be replicated by a Sinned soul. Mor doesn't want to guess but if he were to guess. Then he would say that both the spear and this armor is a Frozen blessing.
And he is fighting against both of them all on his own.
