The heavy downpour of rain masked the thick scent of blood slipping out of an alleyway. A teenager laid within on the ground with various types of wounds painted over old worn-out scars on his body. The red water spread out as his eyes filled with silent rage as mist rolled in.
"DON'T DO IT!! DO IT! PATHETIC!" voices whispered toward the boy through the mist
He yelled, "BE QUIET!!"
Silence followed after his outburst and agitated the wounds again. A groan of mixed emotions was disappeared into the wind. His burry vision fixed of some dark gems scattered in front of him with firm determination.
Blood smeared everywhere as he collected them and pulled them close to himself. A dark light gleamed under the covered of grey clouds, cracks spread over the concrete and sudden quietness followed.
Thousands of droplets fell from the sky into the empty alley.

The world changed forever when sudden rifts appeared all over the globe ranging from ordinary park and houses to hidden unknown searched corners of the world. Different dimensions had merged together, it brought new races and enemies for the human race.
Luckily everything is fair, abilities began appeared in some of the once weak powerless human and alongside the new races that helped them fight against invading creatures.

As the grey clouds moved apart to let warm light of morning fall down and hurried steps echoed toward the alleyway.
"Are you sure this was the last location?!" A gruff voice yelled
A youthful man grumbled, "For the tenth time, yes. I checked the cameras!"
"Over here. Blood, seems he managed to escape." A calm voice interrupted
He collected the blood carefully and ushered his comrades out with a yawn. Meanwhile the teen the were looking for was on the outskirts of the city. He stood with a younger teenage boy and both of them stared at a tombstone with sadness in their eyes.
"Vlad...what...what happened? Did they do this to you?" He asked his severely injured brother with worry
The response echoed, "I don't want....to talk about it....I..."
Neither cried which only made the scene drip with more sorrow and the smell of freshly water grass.
The young teen asked, "How did you get stronger?"
Vlad removed some dark jewels from his pocket and looked into the frosty blue eyes similar to his own.
"Something terrible, Val....but...I had to." He told
Val held out his hand, no words were needed to understand and Vlad knew nothing could persuade him against the thought.
Val smiled slyly, "All the way to the top..."
Vlad nodded, " Into the unknown."

The way people were gifted varied and joined various fields that complimented them. The most respected and highest paying due to being the most dangerous were Pioneers. Those responsible the world's fight against invaded hostile creatures....

" ALL CITIZENS PLEASE RUN TO THE SAFE POINTS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!! QUICKLY PIONEERS ARE IN BATTLE, PLEASE AVOID THE AREA IF IN SIGHT!!" a voice boomed everywhere

Val walked toward the fighting with ease as panicked residents ran past him. He quietly weaved through the intense battles between 'the halo covered' protectors and 'the deviously wicked' invaders.
Val ducked as a leopard-like monster crashed past him and moved out of a way from a woman that swung a massive hammer. His eyes honed onto a sphere as he jumped over a middle-aged man punching a walking bull monster.
"Finally, found it." he thought grabbing a floating sphere near the rift.
Silence
Val turned around and saw everyone was looking at him which prompted him to sent back a charming smile.
"Don't mind me, please continue." he urged
A monster yelled, "KILL HIM!!"
Several news helicopters captured the odd situation and broadcasted it live to the whole world. The news reporters brainstormed and were about to send a warning for citizens to always follow the evacuations.
Val smiled coldly, "Out of my way."
The incoming lizardman turned into red petals which slashed into other creature mercilessly pilling the corpses. The dead bodies slowly bloomed into red roses and Val's blue eyes scanned around for anymore attacks.
"So that's how it works!" Val exclaimed in wonder at the sight picking up a flower he made
A famous female pioneer, Hannah yelled, "Who are you?!"
Val answered, "I'll be out of your hair now since I got what I wanted."
A man asked, "Do you even know what that is?"
Val paused and shook his head at the familiar person with a laugh. The man who asked was a pioneer, Yul who was a rising star of the young generation recently.
Val smirked, "What are you trying to say?"
"Help us and we'll give you the information related to that object." Yul offered "You just need to become a pioneer of our guild."
Val raised an eyebrow and the sudden scouting offer and laughed more.
He shouted, "I got an offer, Vlad. Aren't you green with envy right now?"
Vlad was seated on cloud with a slight frown. With a flick of his wrist a large drop of water dissolved a humanoid creature aiming for Val.
"Stop playing with the pioneers and let's go." Vlad sighed
Val smiled spinning the sphere between his fingers, "Until next time. Thank you for this!"
"YOU THINK WE'LL LET YOU GO!!" An invader roared
The red petals rose and shredded the attackers.
A pioneer appeared with a shout, "Capture those two! We don't know who or what their motive with the power source is!"
Vlad flew in front of the pioneers while the invaders surrounded Val.
"So we're doing this?" Vlad frowned
Val shrugged, "I honestly tried to sneak away."
"You know we only got abilities today." Vlad scolded "How can we manage this?!"
Val smiled, "I trust you, big brother!"
A strong gush of wind blades struck the ground near the pioneers and Vlad smirked at them with provocation in his eyes.
"I will deal with you later!" He hissed toward his brother
Yul advanced firing lightning bolts toward Vlad. The bolt curved into Vlad's hands and shot itself back into the rookie's shoulder.
"Whoa." Vlad gasped in shock "....this is strange but practice make perfect."
Large roses sprung out of the tar underneath and revealed rows of teeth within their lovely petals. Val stroked it gently with a deadly glint in his eyes.
"Let's end this quickly. It's almost lunch." Val laughed sweetly holding a thick vine with thorns
