"YOU'RE INSANE!!" A person yelled
Valentine's head snapped toward the person who had the nerve to say that to him. He knew perhaps he wasn't the sanest bullet in the gun but no one has ever said in his face!
"You're right, I'm off my rocker." Valentine smiled
The dangerous scent increased, as anger morphed Valentine's smile into a snarl and people noticed the underworld individuals lowering their eyes. The grunt as well but it seems he was just unlucky since that Pioneer from before cornered him.
"What are you doing?" the familiar voice spoke
The bone-shattering hold on his elbow told him that an answer was required swiftly. Who knew that the renowned Pioneer, William was a thug in holy garments.
"For both Nox Heads, if you look directly into their eyes the effect of their aura get stronger. It's not unfamiliar for those who manifest aura to take direct eye contact as a challenge but they take it to a whole new level." he told trying to pry his thick fingers off him
The person who yelled began to buckle down and hold his neck as tears slipped out of his eyes.
"Look at me." Valentine ordered "I didn't like the tone in your voice, that's all."
The person's body fell down and silence echoed around again. Valentine ignored their complex emotions and asked who the two factions leaving were.
"Sorry?" a Wonderland person asked
Valentine answered, "Usually I'd drag this along, it's in my nature to play a bit. Sadly Blake need actually medical attention with a real hospital and their equipment. I'm sorry I don't have time."
He look actually pained with the situation and his mood became low for a moment. Regardless of faction, position or situation everyone thought the same thing: 'What have we gotten ourselves into?'
Whoever shot Blake received the undivided attention of their heartfelt intense curses. Valentine perhaps sensing their emotional rollercoaster bounced back easily.
"You have terrible taste." Vincent sighed
Valentine smiled innocently, "I'll be honest, I really do."
"Where's your conscience sir?" Vincent asked with a pang of sympathy for the victims
Valentine looked confused as he asked, "What's that? Can it be eaten?"
Vincent scoffed and his cruel superior looked back at the people. Good thing he cut of his vocal broadcast or else he would be the new receiver of their hate.
The Nox family can be a source a fear but too much of a bad thig will be a problem that may unite everyone against them. What unites people the most, naturally a common enemy and he will make the person who shot Blake their outlet. They are simply 'preserving' their face and dignity in light of this unfortunate attack so who will be at fault in their minds.
"People can be so gullible sometimes." Valentine thought snorting in his mind while smiling outside
Misty asked, "Why don't we hand over the person who did it?"
"That would be a better option...who is it?" He asked
They couldn't say. Suddenly the Villains started to attack the Wonderland faction with madness in their eyes.
"Naturally, the enemy is in this unknown force!" they roared
Valentine made his entrance group advance toward the Pioneer group and went of to Blake. The person looked at him with an uncertain gaze for some reason.
"I brought simple items with me. You are going to live a long life Blake." Valentine said softly
The people who came with him as well as Sebastian were taken aback. Very few people develop aura it's not a matter of being strong or more talented, its in a realm of mentality as well as self which makes it harder to gain and master. Aura is affected by emotions the most.
In that moment, the air around Valentine had lost it usual deadly feel and was comforting with a hint of roses.
"I will make whoever did this to you pay. Blake remember at this moment your surname is Nox, my family member and very difficult to kill." Valentine sighed
Blake laughed even though the pain forced a series of groans in between.
"I'd prefer to knock you out but your skin become harder when you're asleep." Valentine told as he got his equipment ready
Blake reacted, "....Huh? How...how do you?"
The soft aura vanishes just as quickly as it appeared as they laid him straight in on a stretcher. The teens face was serious as he insert a blood transfusion at a low enough flow. He needed Blake to have enough blood in his system to maintain heart rate, brain function until movement to the Nox hospital.
The nurses moved silently and sent him word that no lung or heart damage was suspected by imaging would still need to be done. Valentine was relieved although they said more test would be need no signs was a positive.
Fighting was now intense outside as the screams of people echoed in. They started unpacking sterile gauzes on a sterile board they brought and hand them over to the gloved Valentine. He gently placed them into the entry wounds around the arrow heads as one was left keeping an eye on the blood transfusion.
"I know you want them out of you but we don't know what they might have it. Bear with it for a while." Valentine said in a calm tone
Blake thought for a moment, "Who is this person wearing Valentine's skin?"
"I can be serious too especially my interests, and I'm offended." Valentine said with a slight smile
He hadn't stopped moving even as they spoke and a person flew by shouting in pain. A tightly wound donut was formed around the four arrows when the nurse started taping them down to his skin. A thermal blanket was draped over him and Blake wondered when did he start feeling so cold.
"This is all we can do given our environment, the hospital is getting read for you. Vlad says he need a bit more time and he sent a helicopter to pick us up. Teleporting in your condition is like shotting yourself in the foot. When we arrive my brother would have gotten as a surgery room." Valentine told
The teen dumped all the used gloves and unused ones in a bin labeled for destruction. The nurses stayed by his side checking on more aspects, recording it and observing if anything else was happened. When they gave Valentine the okay, he went back to the fighting faction
Vincent whistled at the sight of cataclysm in front of them.
"Was I in there for too long? What happened here?" Valentine asked
He turned his gaze to Gabriel holding a ruby jeweled golden mirror with recollection. His vast bank of memories pinpointed the identity of the item.
"Gabriel, I don't like it when you mess with my games. Didn't we have an understanding not to bother one another." He frowned
Blake forced his mind awake and opened his eyes at the words. He needed to hear what this was about.
"This is a win-win situation. I help you figure out which two factions to spare quickly, I believe Blake doesn't have the time to be idling around." Gabriel told
The fighting around and turned to the scene as two auras clashed each other. Valentine sneered the man's aura was just like him like a blazing condescending sun.
Valentine's words were icy, "Forget about the fighting for a moment. Why do you have the Weeping Bride's Mirror? We destroyed it."
"Did we?" Gabriel smirked
