The woman, Jena looked at her husband Arthur and they advanced toward him. Jena coming from above while Arthur closed in from his right.
Vladimir erected a stone wall to block Arthur as he dodged the falling hammer.
"Feels like my reserve are emptying quickly. Controlling more than three elements seems to be my limit until I grow some more and merging with one element at a time." Vladimir thought
He made the clouds in the sky tunnel downward and shot the flames as well as dermis it caught outward.
"No you don't!" Jena yelled as a shockwave pushed out of her hammer
Vladimir was pushed back and wiped a streak of blood dripping from his mouth.
"Val is going to have a field day when he hears this." Vladimir said with a hint of annoyance
He snapped his fingers and the clouds began to move in reverse. They started to suck in everything without discrimination.
The couple witnessed the university be pulled from its foundations along with the trees. The dashed forward to save citizens that were being drawn in.
Arthur's sword glowed brightly and he swung it with all his energy. A line extended outward and sliced the elements into nothings.
"I guess that's it from me." Vladimir sighed with a new understanding of his abilities
The couple simply watched him and he tilted his head in confusion.
"Aren't you supposed to chase after me?" He asked
Arthur spoke, "So you can cause more damage for your escape? We're willing to bear the consequences if it means you won't hurt anyone else."
"Wow, real Pioneers actually exist? I'm happy I meet you, tell Ethan Val says hi." Vladimir laughed
The towering men opened a portal while the woman with the titanium box followed after Vladimir and the group.
"I had fun, let's do this again. Congrats on the baby." Vladimir smiled before leaving
Arthur looked at his wife in surprise and she stared back in shock as well. Tears slipped out of his eyes as he looked at his tiny dynamite.
"I'll request leave." he said with determination
Jena shouted, "We need to confirm if he isn't lying. And you'll go on leave by yourself, I love this job! Not happening!"
"You're right. I have some time to convince that your child is more important than your duty." Arthur smiled dragging his wife to the nearest hospital
Jena sighed, "There are two new lunatics in the world, I won't give in until I caught them."
"Yes, honey." Arthur beamed clearly not listening to her
Meanwhile Vladimir appeared in his room of the penthouse he shared with his brother. Several healers followed Humphrey inside.
They started radiating green light and Vladimir felt his inner wounds healing up.
"A baby huh?" Humphrey commented
Vladimir sat on an armchair as one of the towering men gave him a glass of whiskey and he closed his eyes. Several colored orbs appeared in the room with the hint of quiet giggling.
"Spirits and I care about children quite a bit. I notice my attacks weren't hitting her as strongly because she was pregnant." Vladimir told
Humphrey nodded, "And Blake?"
Vladimir chuckled and the giggling from the orbs became louder. The healers started to tremble slightly in fear of the unknown situation.
"Just some fun, can't help myself." Vladimir shrugged "I wonder how long it will take them to realize my and my brothers' abilities?"
The orbs started to take various shapes mixed in with elements. A flame bird, a fairy wrapped in wind and many more.
Humphrey smirked, "Who knows, Head. But I must ask what will you do with the cores"
Vladimir held out his hand to a mermaid made of water with a slight warm light in his eyes.
"Undine...a wonderful name." He thought
Humphry sighed and knew he wasn't going to get an answer. The new heads, although subtle, the enjoyed playing games and fulfilling curiosities.
"When I have a guess I'll inform you." Humphry said
Vladimir smiled, "Working with smart who can think is such a wonderful thing. As the head, I am pleased."
"Why must you get so strong so quickly, Head?" the woman with the box asked "We haven't known each other long but this seems a bit to risky."
Vladimir spoke, "Something going to happen soon. Since you have trusted Val and I to be your heads we will get strong enough to protect Nightfall City."
"Who else knows of whatever this is?" Humphrey asked with worry
A full smile finally formed on the teen's usually stiff face at Humphry's quick thinking.
Vladimir whispered, "Well most I didn't know but I know three. Myself, Val and....Gabriel McVon."
Meanwhile Gabriel returned home after the argument with the ten guilds about the aftermath of Vladimir attack. The moment he saw Blake, he slapped his son across the face.
"BLAKE!" A young girl cried
The eldest son, Xavier pulled his youngest sister, Ophelia and stopped her from rushing over.
"What was the meaning of that humiliations? Even if you are a freelancer, my surname is still attached you your name." Gabriel frowned
Lesia sighed as she entered, "What's the problem in brothers getting to know each other, Gabriel?"
"Lesia, they are criminals!" He snapped
Blake asked, "What are you hiding, Father? Do they know something?"
"Don't be ridiculous, Blake. Even if I think you did nothing wrong you should have followed the orginal orders. I want to stab you father but I won't since I have children." Lesia smiled bitterly
Xavier frowned slightly holding his crying sister.
Gabriel sighed, "I said it was necessary. I'm not sure how they manage to improve their pathetic abilities-"
"Because they were useless, you got rid of them?" Blake said
SLAP
Blake received another slap but his face was oddly neutral and Lesia bashed herself into Gabriel with motherly rage in her eyes.
"What do you think you're doing? Ever since we discovered this Silve brothers, you've become more violent. Is there something going on?" She roared
Gabriel stared at Blake, "LEAVE! I can't stand the sight of you, just know you are removed from the family after so many chances I gave! Today was the last one."
"He's not going anywhere! I will fight you in court if I must!" Lesia warned
Blake rushed out even as his mother yelled for him to return. He saw Gabriel send something on his phone as he knocked out Lesia.
As he ran aimlessly he found his surroundings were too quiet. His fingers turned into blades as he blocked a katana blade.
"Who are you?" he demanded but no answer came
The assaulter was stronger than him and more wounds developed on his body. His life flashed before his eyes as the blade neared his throat.
Then something shredded the individual. Blake stared at the beautiful woman with elongated nails.
"The Heads of Nox would like to speak with you." she informed
