Chapter : 9 : The Class Begins :
" Excellent !! "
" Huh ! Did you say anything Mr. Cian ? I didn't quite catch it . "
" Oh no ! It's nothing . I am just a little too excited about the class... hahaha . "
Just now in his excitement Cian had shouted a little too loud .
Fortunately the class has yet to start and there were not many people sitting there beside him so only Liora heard his words.
' But I need to be careful from now on or else people might think I am an idiot talking to myself . '
But the reward was really good someone like him .
Cian V Keolos from this life was from the border nobility and was trained in the art of archery and swordsmanship from the beginning .
Especially when it came to archery he could say that he was a very good Archer .

In this world of supernatural many things does not work in the same way it did in Cian's previous life .
In his previous world humans were much more limited by their physical strength .
However this was a lot different in this fantasy world where magic exists in every aspect of life.
In his previous life - dodging and reflecting a storm of arrows like an frictional protagonist would have been an impossible task for any individual , no matter even if they have reached the so called peak human strength.
However in this fantasy world such things can be overcome with training and magic .
There exists multiple techniques that can act like a rader for a warrior or a wizard .
Their superior speed and reflections powered by mana and aura can bypass the physical limitations of a normal human from Earth .
' If I remember correctly the second prince also has a cousin who will join the Academy a month later . '
' He is a great Archer and well cause a lot of trouble for the princess and her supporters in the apex battle . '
Suddenly a ghost of a smile formed on Cian's face .
' Wouldn't it be nice to see someone like him to lose to a nobody . '
This cousin of the second prince was quite arrogant in the series not only because of his status but also because of his good looks .
And although he changes later in the series Cian certainly does not like his attitude for now and since he has the opportunity in the future why not give him a few slaps and say to his face .
' Who is the boss now fool ! '
Just as he was thinking of that future the door of the room suddenly opened.
" Step ! Step ! "
" Good morning Professor Frost. "
" Good morning to all of you . Now sit down because the class is about to start. "
With that finally the first class of the Acedemy started not with much fan fair but with a direct and simple order from Alistair Frost .
" Alright all of you listen to me very carefully . "
" This is your first day in the Academy so I will be explaining some rules , regulations and important structures to you . "
" And I expect all of you to listen very carefully ... Do You Understand Me ! "
" Yes sir !!!! "
One thing must be said that the fear in everyone's heart for this professor was really high .
Because unlike Cian who knew this man's power in the future others did not know much about professor Frost .
While the noble did gate a warning from their seniors and family's about Frost .
The commoners only new about him from various articles and other information shared on the media .
But the fear and respect in everyone's heart for this professor was the same .
And there is a huge difference when you hear a story about someone and directly meet them .
Anyone can talk big like - ' So what if he is strong ' and ' I will show him my strength when I face him ' .
But when they really face the person they were talking about a huge portion of these people will lose their courage immediately .
And perhaps such was the taste for many students in the room especially the nobles who have thought they would not fear a random teacher from the Academy .
" Alright shut up and listen to me clearly you idiots ... "
With that professor Frost started to lecture about various things .
The first thing he told about was the rules of the Academy .
While there are many rules he only spoke of the important ones .
The Valerion Academy was the foundational institution of the kingdom and it does not promote any kind of division between students no matter where and which background they came from.
So if they are found guilty of any miss action they would be punished accordingly no matter their background .
And this was essentially true even in the novel as the Academy particularly never gave anyone any special treatment .
Although many noble managed to get pass this systems through various connections it was essentially done in the novel so that had thrid rate villains can be formed for the hero to defeat.
Even then it never got to the point where it could be considered a high level corruption within the Academy .
The second thing that he told about was that every student can take one or multiple path when studying in the Academy .
There are four broad categories in which the classes are divided.
The warrior class , the wizard class , the Alchemist class and the summoner class.
These classes are then subdivided into multiple parts with various specialities .
One can choose to become a warrior , wizard , alchemist or summoners .
Or if they want to they can become more than just one and choose to specialise in two or other fields.
This is not impossible , in fact it is a very common thing as most people choose more than one class .
However it becomes more difficult and rare for anyone to choose more than two classes .
' Zeal Cloudseaker at the end of the day would have all the four classes but his warrior class is his speciality . '
This is also true for the second prince who would master as a knight, a wizard and a summoner .
On the other hand there are also people like Liora and Jenny who would pass out with a single class at their speciality .
With Liora specializing in the summoning class and Jenny specializing in the Alchemist class .
The wizard class used mana as their power source from which they can conduct magical spells of various kinds .
This includes fire magic , water magic , wind magic , space time magic , dark magic , etc .
The wizard class is divided into eight rank .
And each rank is then subdivided into four sub groups - early , middle , late and peak stages .
Rank - 1 : Mana Initiate : Just formed their first Mana pool in the body and could do the most basic of elemental manipulations like starting a small fire .
Rank - 2 : Spell Caster : In this stage the wizard can cast proper spells although they are of the most lowest rank .
Rank - 3 : Battle Mage : This is the point from where a wizard can start calling themselves professionals as they would be able to use high level magic in proper battles and not training alone .
Rank - 4 : Arch Mage : In this stage the wizards finally start understanding the basics of the ' Magic law ' . This allows them to create a specialised zone called a ' Room ' where they can control the environment and will have far more strength than they do on outside .
However this stage is limited by range as only 6 metres to 12 metres of radius can be covered .
Moreover being within your room does not mean invincibility .
Yes you will get far more powerful but anyone who is more powerful than you can easily defeat you and break your room .
Rank - 5 : Sky Magus : In this stage the wizard no longer need magical spells to fly in the air and they can do it with pure Mana control .
Rank - 6 : Wizard King : In this stage the wizard can openly manipulate the magical laws and use mana from the atmosphere instead of only relying on their internal magical pool .
Rank - 7 : Mana Emperor : In this stage a wizard can turn their physical body into pure magical energy for a temporary period of time and all their power increases by a huge proportion as their control over magical loss and the room increases to the point where they can literally span it across cities and kingdoms .
Rank : 8 : Magic Eternal : Not much information is known about this stage and it is considered hypothetical as only some scattered records of it exist from a distant past .
Then comes the warrior class which has a lot of types including knights , archers , assassins , etc .
The warrior class it is divided into 8 ranks .
And each Rank is also divided into four sub groups - early , middle , late and peak stages .
Rank : 1 : Novice : This is the beginning point for most warriors as they are trained in multiple options so that they can finally understand which type of warrior they want to be professionalised in . Also in this page the basic training and body conditioning happens .
Rank : 2 : Vateran : This stage is where all of them choses their warrior types and start professionalized training . And one can choose more than one type to professionalise in however it also makes their journey a lot harder .
Rank : 3 : Aura User : This is the stage where a warrior can utilise his inner will power to form what is called ' Aura ' . In this stage only basic powers of the technique can be used like strengthening their body and will .
Rank : 4 : Elite Warrior : In this stage a warrior can effectively use their aura to coat their weapons and other items to use them on battles .
Rank : 5 : Master : This is the rank where a warrior finally starts to become powerful elites as they can use their aura to create multiple techniques like flying distance slashes . In this stage they also learn to how to nullify magic with their Aura but it is only in its basic stage .
Rank : 6 : Grandmaster : This rank is for those warriors who can nullify magic using there aura alone .
Rank : 7 : Epic : These warriors are of legend who can change the very terrain of a land through their strength and aura .
Rank : 8 : Mythic : This rank is just like the magic eternal rank - shrouded in mystery and no one knows if this exists or not.
The Alchemist class on the other hand is divided into only 4 ranks .
Each rank is then divided into four sub groups - early , middle , late and peak stages .
Also magical elixirs are divided into four ranks depending on the rank of the Alchemist .
That is to say a rank one Alchemist can create a rank one magical elixir .
Also in order to become a strong Alchemist you would require something called ' Alchemist Soul ' which is the special spiritual power required to make any elixir of rank 2 or above .
Rank : 1 : Alchemy Starter : This is the first stage of Alchemy where they can follow recipes to create standard elixirs . In this stage they cannot awaken their Alchemist souls .
Rank : 2 : Brewmaster : In this stage they have finally awaken there Alchemist Soul and can make stronger rank 2 elixirs .
Rank : 3 : Grand Alchemy Master : They can create magical elixir with long term effects and can use there alchemist soul to great effect in battlefield . They can also create various magical elixirs just by using their alchemist soul and mana . However this is limited to rank 2 or easier rank 3 elixirs .
Rank : 4 : Alchemy Philosopher : These are legendary figures who can create magical potions that are heard only in legends like the ' exlier of life ' . However this rank is very difficult to reach and his only heard in stories .
The Summoners class is also divided into only 4 ranks pranks .
And each rank is then divided into four sub groups - early , middle , late and peak stages .
And how many summoned features one can summon depends on various factors including their mana reserves , talents and control .
Rank : 1 : Binder : Can summon low level magical beasts . Their power is limited however since they are of low level they cost little magical power as such can be brought in numbers and can be maintained in the physical world for a longer period of time .
Rank : 2 : Contractor : In the state they can summon powerful magical beast who have their own personality and intelligence . However unlike the previous summoned creatures these beasts are not servants of the summoner instead they work on a equal relationship through a signed contract .
Rank : 3 : Avater : In this stage summoners can merge with their summond creature for temporary period of time and gain it's trait and powers .
Rank : 4 : True Summoners : Not much is known about this stage and it is said in legends such summoners can summon army's of strong summoned creatures .
After hearing all this from professor Frost , Cian couldn't help but look at his hand with the determination forming in his very soul .
This world was far more powerful and dangerous.
However it was also field with much more opportunities .
And he was not going to be a forgotten extra .
' Because my journey has just only started .'
