Chapter : 12 : You Are Nothing But A Third Rate Villain :

" You Are Not Allowed To Touch My Girlfriend ! "

Silence !
The moment these words left his mouth the entire room felt silence as if they were struck with thunder .
Just now Marus was trying to get to the girl and in the next moment a handsome boy came in front and beat up his subordinates and protected her .
And this boy now suddenly called himself as her boyfriend .
So obviously people will be shocked .
But perhaps the one who was shocked the most at this moment was Liora herself .
To be honest at first she are just trying to get some fresh air before the start of the class .
She was quite happy with her life in the Academy till now .
Although everything was unfamiliar to her with a huge amount of things that made her go numb , at least she had made a friend in the Academy .
Cian was really far different from what she thought a noble was like .
She remembered that the local lords of her area were quiet arrogant and would come on their horses on the tax collection day .

So she believed that Cian would be the same .

But just as she was doing in her own direction she was suddenly surrounded by a group of people .
At first she did not understand what could they want from her .
However when the lead boss of the group told that he wanted her to be his girl a sudden fealing of cold dread came over her .
Although she did not exactly know who this person was , she understood that he was from a important family in the capital city .
At least that's what she could understand from all the words she was hearing from the crowd .
And this was really a matter of great trouble to her .
After all refusing to a noble of this status is destined to bring trouble.
Her real worry was not for herself but for her family .
After all while in the Academy at least she was safe however her family was just a farmer family from the country side .
If someone from capital nobility truly decided to target them then it would be catastrophic .
But still she refused to agree to his demands because she knew in her heart that it would not be a good thing .
It was because she is still believe that they would not there to act rashly within the academic ground .
However when other side openly asked his subordinates to attack her this illusion quickly shattered .
These people are really mad that they would not even give face to the academy .
She did not have any chance of fighting as she did not have much fighting skills.
So far she had managed to come to this Academy with her excellent theoretical knowledge .
And although she wanted to take the wizard or the summoner class to increase her strength it would take time .
But just as those bad guys were about to close in suddenly she saw a blur of shadow coming in front of her .
And with a movement that she could barely predict all the four villains where put down on the ground in pain .

It was none other than Cian V Keolos - the friend she made in the Academy .

Right now her face was really bright as a tomato as she looked around .
This was even more embarrassing because the entire crowd has heard that .
But when she looked at Cian's face she saw that there was not a single hint of embarrassment or uncertainty in his eyes .
' How .... how can he say such an embarrassing thing with a straight face like that . '
She was a little frustrated because it felt like she was the only one getting embarrassed like a newly wed couple while Cian had a face that said ' it was no big deal ' .
But at the same time she also felt a sense of warmth in her heart that he was there on his side .
What she did not know was that while Cian's face remained the same he was having a screaming contest inside his mind right now .
' OMG !!!! Did I really just said those things !!!! When the hell did I became so smooth !!!! '
He himself was surprised that he actually managed to say that .
Actually originally he wanted to say ' stay away from my friend ' .
However for some reason when he saw the other party trying to take Liora he felt that he needed to say something more .
And without even thinking when he opened his mouth those words came out .
Obviously Cian understood his own character very well .

Looking at the four subordinates who were standing up again Marus couldn't help but have a disdainful look on his face .
' Useless ! Totally useless ! why do I even keep this weaklings in my team . '
Not only were this subordinates not strong enough to do what he said they were also beaten down by a single opponent .
' Do you four not eat properly in my watch or do I not give you resources to increase your strength . '
Although he did not care about there wellbeing what he did care about was his reputation he lost today by having such weak subordinates.
And also a slight pain for all the resources he had wasted on giving to them .
But now that this had happened there is nothing he can do .
What he can do however is to show the rest of the people that he is still powerful and the best way to do it is by teaching this wanna be hero a lesson .
" Alright whoever you are ! kneel down and apologize to me right away or else I'll make sure you regret that you were ever in my way . " - Marus said while giving a giving a ferocious look towards Cian .
Even if this boy was from his class he was certainly not someone belonging to a high noble or important family .
Because the circle of such people where always relatively small and if this person was someone with great backing at least he should have known .
' And I remember that this boy was sitting behind with that girl yesterday . '
So by default he considered that Cian was also a commoner .
And if he was a commoner or even a lesser noble there is nothing for the young master of the Baronet family to worry about .
After all he has seen multiple people like this who came to their home to pledge their allegiance to his father and beg for his help .
So to him Cian was nothing but a insect that needs to be shown his place .
However Cian's reply quickly shattered that illusion into pieces .
" Are you an idiot ? Why would I do that . " - Cian looked at him as if he was an idiot .
" Instead you should come over and apologize to this beautiful lady for your behaviour . "

Another silence fell in the room as everyone looked at Cian with wide eyes .
" Freakin Hell ! Did he just call him a idiot . "
" OMG ! Did he really ask him to apologize to that girl . "
" On no ! he just insulted the young master of the Baronet family . "
" Yes ! now there is no way for him to get out of this situation . "
The crowd instantly reacted with a mixture of different expressions .
Liora who was standing behind Cian also had a panicked look on her face .
" Cian.... P... Please no need to get in this fight for me . "
Right now she was genuinely worried about him as she felt that this entire situation started because of her .
And now because of her only friend had just put himself in a huge trouble .
However when Cian looked at her he didn't blame her .
Instead he gave a big reassuring smile and softly reached out his hand to press against her cheek .
" Don't worry ! We are together in this situation . "
Simple words !
This were just a few simple words .
However the moment she heard those simple words a sudden wave of feeling came in her heart .
He did not say that he was there to protect .
He did not say that she was at fault .
Instead he told that they were together .
This did not feel like a hero coming to save a damsel in distress .
This felt like a partner coming to help the other one in times of need .
" Cian .... I .... "
She couldn't say anything else as a single teardrop fell from her eyes .
This worfs for have one of the most beautiful things she has ever heard from anyone .
Because this did not consider her a burden that needed to be saved .
Instead it made her a partner who would stay in the situation together no matter what .
At this moment this situation was really becoming like a beautiful romantic play .
However a sudden shout from the other side quickly shattered the dreamy situation .
" How Dare You Ignore Me You Little Punk ! Who Do You Think You Are !!!! "
Marus Baronet on the other hand saw what was happening and instantly became even more angry .
Not only was the other side interfereing with his work but now also ignoring him entirely .
And he was ignoring him so that he could flirt with a girl .
This was perhaps the most humiliating things that he had ever suffered in his life .
This was more than anything he could handle !!!!
" If you are not going to apologize then don't blame me for what happens now . "
Without a seconds hesitation he rust forward towards Cian with a aim to punch right at Cian's face .
" Oh no ! Cian look out . "
Watching this Liora suddenly cried out in panic as she tried to warn Cian of the incoming attack .
But on the other hand Cian did not look worried at all and simply took a fighting stand .
" So you do have some courage . " - Cian said with a mocking smile on his face .
" You will eat your words when I am done with you insect . "
Cian's words of provocation only made the other side more furious .
" Take this !!!! "
The moment Marus came close and attacked with a punch Cian quickly used a slapping hand technique to block the attack .
And then he did the same for another punch that was coming from his opposite side .
Noticing that his attack has failed the other side quickly went on with a side kick .
Cian quickly used used his momentum to side step the attack and after getting a good angle gave a low kick aiming right at the opponents leg .
" Ahh ! "
Marus screamed in pain but he quickly turned around to give another punch .
However before he could do anything Cian quickly blocked his attack and then used a grabbing motion to bind his other hand .
Then Cian gave a powerful mid kick that was strong enough to throw Marus a few metres back .
" Dang ! "
" Ahhh! "
As the opponent felt face front on the ground the first round of the battle came to an end with Cian's victory .
Watching this the crowd fell in another silent shock which by this point had became the most reoccurring aspect of the day .
Cian on the other side did not bother with the crowd's silence and looked at Marus on the ground with nothing but a cold contempt as he said .
" You Are Nothing But A Third Rate Villain . "
