Chapter : 5 : Alistair Frost :
As the students gathered in the academic grounds the crowd started to get bigger and bigger .
It was at that time that on top of a huge magical notice board a massage containing the list of different classes with their respective students came .
The message told everyone to check their respective class .
After that the students belonging to the same class are to gather around and wait for their teachers to come and guide them .
The classrooms were divided in a specific manner .
The number 1 represented their first year in the academy and the rest of the words like ' A ... B .... C .... D .... ' represented their class rooms .
For the rest of their 6 years in the Academy this exact pattern will be followed .
" Wait ! There it is my class is , 1-A .
" Mine is 1-C . "
" Oh no ! I'm in 1-B but my best friend is at 1-C "
" Yahoo ! I am in a class full of beauties . "
As everyone looked at there classrooms and shared it with their friends some were happy while some were disappointed .
But a huge number of people were also waiting to see which classroom would the second prince and the daughter of the Duke will get .
As it turned out both of them were in the same classroom , 1 - D .
" OMG ! How romantic , both of them got in the same class . "
" Cheh ! Romantic ? What so romantic about that ? She must have used her connections to get into the same class as the second prince . "
" Exactly ! She is just trying to captivate his attention that's all ! "
" How dare you say that about our lady !!! "
Obviously many people were not quite happy about it .
It was especially true for the girls who wanted to be in the same class as the prince charming .
They always believed that the second Prince had no love or interest in Elera Ros Thalric .
And it was her who was shamelessly trying to get his attention .
To them she didn't deserve someone like him .
Obviously when they said this kind of things they only dates of secretly after all they did not have the strength to offend someone of her standing .
While the excitement and all the fierce debate was going on none of them noticed that three more characters have gotten into the same class .
The first two were obviously Zeal Cloudseaker and her younger sister Jenny Cloudseaker .
They were quite overjoyed when they found that they were in the same class .
Now they won't have to worry about separating and could help each other.
And as for the third person who got into the same class as the main characters was none other than Cian V Keolos .
However he did not look quite happy at the moment .
' Look at all this people enjoying as they have achieved something great . '
Cian thought to himself while looking at the cheering students with pitty in his eyes .
' Just wait for the class teacher to arrive and all your happiness will turn into something else entirely . '
After sometime one afternoon various teachers from the Academy started to come and take their respective students with them .
And finally it was time for class 1- D as they excitedly waiting for their teacher to arrive .
But when the teacher finally arrived everyone's faces which were glowing with happiness just a few moment ago turned into a pale fright .
The teacher who came for them was a man in his 30's with dark violet hair and bright blue eyes that felt as if it could freeze everyone with just a glance .
As he looked at everyone present the students felt a cold chill going down their spine as they had only one thought in their mind right now .
' Why him ? Why did we get the strictest teacher in the entire Academy ? '
Right now all their happiness from before were broken into million pieces as they desperately wanted to hide in a shadow so that they can escape the attention of the man in front of them .
On the other hand that man himself showed no perticular emotion on his face and it was only after two minutes of silence that he finally spoke .
" My name is Alistair Frost and to you it is professor Frost . " - he said his voice cold but held a sharp intensity to it .
" From now onwards all of you are the students of this prestigious Academy and will be learning under me . "
" And I will expect you all to give your best in the Academy and I hope that this is clear to everyone of you . "
Before the students good think of anything else the man shifted his position once again his face becoming more strict as if giving an warning .
" Moreover if I find that anyone of you is causing trouble and ruining the name of the academy be it inside or outside of the accademy campus then you can be sure that none of you will escape punishment . "
As he said that a sudden flicker of aura flared from his body giving a sense of oppression to the students in front .
This pressure was only little and was never meant to harm anyone .
However the psychological effect it had was immense .
" Gulp ! "
And from the reactions of the students is seeing that it had great effect .
Even Cian and rest of the main characters felt a sense of domination at this moment .
' Freakin Hell ! He is even more scarrier in real life then in the novel . ' - Cian thought to himself as he wiped a cold sweet from his forehead.
This man was none other than - professor Alistair Frost also known as ' The Frozen Wizard ' .
There was two things about this man that came to everyone's mind .
The first was his strength in ice magic .
In terms of experties in Ice Magic he is considered the second strongest in the kingdom of Valerion and the fourth strongest in the entire continent of Aethelgrada .
And don't even think for a second that being number two or number 4 is a bad place .
Remember were talking about a word where supernatural powers with magic exist everywhere strong enough to dominate and tired kingdoms .
And the position of being second strongest ice magic user in one of the strongest human Kingdom and the fourth strongest in the entire continent is a matter of great importance .
And from what Cian remembered later in the series when various forces from the continent of Aethelgrada will come together to form an Elite force to go in the Abyssal continent this man would be at the forefront of that effort .
It was during those battles in the Abyssal continent that this man would fight and entire division of abyssal kins all by himself and manage to defeat more than half of them before reinforcements arrived.
He was basically a one man army .
Although the abyssal kins that he fought were not the lords of their army , still the combined strength of the army was considerable .
Even someone like the hero who was chosen by the plot armour would face existential difficulty when facing such a situation .
And the fact that Alistair Frost defeated more than half of the entire division all by himself proved just have strong this man will become in the future .
And that's just considering his magical powers .
Alistair Frost is also a well trained warrior however due to his strong magical powers he rarely needs to use something else .
The second thing that Alistair Frost was known for was his Academy famous strickness .
As expressed by many students in their hearts right now this man was considered the strictest teacher in the Academy .
A single mistake can land you in his so called ' bad student list ' , which is an imaginary list thought by the students themselves .
And in the start of the series he was shown to be a character who had multiple bad encounters with the main hero that lead to many fans misunderstanding him has a small villain .
However as the story progressed he turned from a misunderstood villain to a strict but fair teacher .
Yes ! You have heard it right .
Alistair Frost although a strict individual was a very fair teacher .
It doesn't matter to him that if you are from a noble family , royal family or a commoner .
As long as they are academy students they are all the same to him and he treats everyone the same and he shows little to no speciality to anyone .
In fact one of the reasons why he was considered a small villain at the start of the story was because of the incident related to Aurelian Von Valerion and Elera Ros Thalric .
One day when professor Frost was coming inside the class to start an important lesson he found that there was a huge crowd of students gathering around blocking the clas entrance .
When he came forward he found that it was Aurelian who was declaring his intention to cancel the engagement with Elera in front of everyone .
Although this had nothing to do with him personally however all the commotion and drama started by the prince charming was obstructing in his class time .
And obviously as a strict teacher he could not let this go unpunished .
Hence he interfered in the matter immediately and punished the Second Prince and Elera to 1 hour of extra timing in class to reflect in their actions .
It was then that Jenny Cloudseaker came to defend her lover and was also given the same punishment .
Obviously when his sister was punished the hero could not just stand by .
The situation then escalated and all of involved students were taken to the principals office .
This made many fans think that professor Frost was one of those villain characters who was a professor and against the main Hero .
The typical villain professor theme .
This idea got even more solidity when in various occasions the hero was scolded by the professor for various things , especially for his low grades in academic performance and lack of attentions in the class .
But at the second half of the story this misunderstanding started to clear away because just as he had scolded and punished the hero for his miss behaviour , he had also protected him when the time came .
It was then that everyone understood that processor Alistair Frost was not a third rate villain but a strict and fair teacher .
The reason he are so strict with the hero and the other students was not because he hated any one of them but it was because he deeply cared for them .
As the man himself said to the hero once - ' I rather you fail in my class then let you go unprepaired and die on the battlefield . '
This phrase then would later become one of the most famous dialogue in the series earning the man great respect .
At the original novel it was hinted that the professor had a some kind of a back story that was to be revealed after the Abyssal continent arc .
This becomes important because he was won of the characters whose back story was not revealed in early parts of the novels despite his continuous presence .
But once again since Cian could no longer get the original novel it was impossible for him to know what it was .
So yeah ! in summary professor Alistair Frost was strict but fair teacher who deeply cared about his students but had problems in socializing that made him look cold .
' Maybe I can get some more opportunities to change some events related to professor Frost in the future .'
The thought was tempting after all this character would be of great importance in the future and changing a major event related to him will certainly give a good reward .
However that was in the future for now he had to survive being in his class .
After sometime of going through the hallways they finally reached an huge room where there was already a group of students from the first year standing in neat and perfect line order .
Quickly under the guidance of their professor they also formed a line and started waiting .
" Buzz ! "
Suddenly at the high platform of the room a light blue portal opened up shocking many students on the scene .
" Hiss ! "
The moment the students saw the portal opening most of them took a deep and sharp breath in both awe and excitement .
After all this was space time magic one of the most rarest and hardest form of Magic to learn.
Most of the students here specially those coming from commoner and low noble background have never seen a glimpse of space time magic in their lifetime .
So obviously they were quite surprised and excited to see something like this .
However Cian on the other hand did not pay attention to this at all .
As right now his full focus was on person who was slowly coming out of the portal .
' Here he comes !!!! '
