In the Library… 📚
The Ramrizz sisters finally arrived at the royal library. Laura was carrying a mountain of books, while Kristen followed her, looking around suspiciously.
Librarian: "Thank you for returning the books, Miss Laura. ☺️"
Laura: "Just check whether everything is there or if anything is missing, sir. ☺️"
The librarian looked at the enormous pile and sighed. He had a feeling this would take a while.
Meanwhile, Kristen quietly examined the library shelves, searching for something interesting.
Laura (proudly): "This is called a library, sister. 😏"
Kristen: "I KNOW! 😤"
Laura: "Then stop looking around like a detective! 😎"
Kristen: "Mind your own business! 😤"
Librarian: "It will take some time to sort everything. Why don't you read some books in the meantime? ☺️"
Laura: "Okay! That's a wonderful idea! ☺️"
Without wasting another second, Laura happily wandered away to explore the library.
Naturally, she somehow managed to pick up even more books along the way.
Kristen watched her disappear between the shelves.
Kristen (muttering): "Does this girl ever get tired of reading? 😑"
She then turned toward the librarian, her expression suddenly becoming serious.
Kristen: "Hmm… Mr. Librarian. 😕"
Librarian: "Yes, Miss Kristen? ☺️"
Kristen: "May I know… where the books about Queen Elda are kept? 😐"
The librarian immediately looked at her with suspicion.
Librarian: "Huh? Why are you asking about those books? Usually, members of the Ramrizz family don't ask about her. 😑"
Kristen smiled innocently.
Kristen: "Just… for knowledge. ☺️"
Librarian: "Okay. Go left, then take the upper stairs to the right. 😑"
Kristen: "Okay. 😑"
Kristen walked away, carefully following his directions.
Behind her, the librarian watched her go and muttered under his breath.
Librarian (muttering): "Why is everyone suddenly asking about Queen Elda's books today? 😑"
Kristen eventually reached the designated shelf.
She stopped.
She stared.
She blinked twice.
The entire shelf was practically empty!
Only one lonely book remained, sitting in the corner like it had been abandoned by the entire kingdom.
Kristen: "WHAT THE…?! 😶"
She picked it up and flipped through the pages.
There was barely any useful information.
Kristen: "You've got to be kidding me! This book contains almost nothing! 😤"
Frustrated, she returned to the librarian.
Kristen: "Excuse me… why is there only one book? Where are the others? 😑"
Librarian: "Oh… actually, all the books are at Queen Elda's place. When they arrived here, they started becoming… haunted. 😅 So, we sent them back. ☺️"
Kristen stared at him silently.
Kristen: "Haunted? 😐"
Librarian: "Yes. Very strange things happened. It's better not to ask. ☺️"
Kristen: "Do you… know where that place is? 😑"
Librarian: "Sorry. The location was written in another book, but someone already took it. ☺️"
Kristen: "May I know who took it? 😑"
Librarian: "Sorry. That's confidential. 😑"
Before Kristen could question him further, Laura suddenly appeared beside them, carrying an even bigger mountain of books.
Laura: "Shall we go? ☺️"
Kristen slowly turned toward her.
Kristen: "Huh… okay. 😑"
The sisters left the library together.
Laura hummed happily, completely satisfied with her visit.
Kristen, however, remained suspicious.
Kristen (muttering): "Haunted books, missing information, secret locations… What the heck is happening in this kingdom? 😑"
And the mystery of Queen Elda grew even deeper. 😈
