The Next Day in Lupesia
Something felt strange across the kingdom of Lupesia. The atmosphere was unusual, and everyone seemed restless. Nobody knew what was happening. 😬
Meanwhile, inside the Ramrizz house, Kristen was pacing back and forth, looking worried.
Kristen (thinking aloud): "Okay, Kristen… calm down. Step one: figure out how I even went to that other place. Step two: this pendant isn't mine, so I need to return it. Step three: whose pendant is it? Step four… why do I suddenly feel like something bad is coming? 😤"
She continued walking around, completely lost in her thoughts and talking to herself.
Suddenly, Natalie entered the room, looking cheerful as always.
Natalie: "Uh… Kristen? What are you doing? Talking to yourself again? 😎"
Kristen: "Shut up! 😤"
Natalie: "Huh? Go to hell! 😤"
Annoyed, Natalie stormed out of the room. Unfortunately, she immediately ran into Laura.
Laura: "Hey! Want to come with me to the library? 😊"
Natalie: "Go ask your sister! 😤"
Laura stared at her, completely confused.
Laura: "What the… then who the heck are you? 😤"
Natalie ignored her and walked away angrily.
Laura shook her head and entered the hall, where Kristen was still wandering around in deep thought.
Kristen (muttering): "Hell yeah… if Queen Elda were here, this place would be chaos incarnate. 😎 I need to find that place. But where do I even start?"
She rubbed her forehead, trying to organize her thoughts.
Laura: "Oi, Kristen! 😑"
Kristen: "What? 😤"
Laura: "Are you coming with me? I'm heading to the library to return some books. 😎"
Kristen: "Yeah… library. 😶"
Kristen turned toward Laura, expecting to see her carrying two or three books.
Instead, she found Laura holding an enormous mountain of books that nearly covered half her face.
Kristen froze in disbelief.
Kristen: "WHAT THE…! Did you borrow the entire library section or something? Why are there so many books? 😱"
Laura looked at the pile proudly.
Laura: "I was bored, so I read all these. Now I'm returning them. 😎"
Kristen stared at her sister as though she had just announced that she had conquered an entire kingdom.
Kristen: "What the… why should I help you carry all this? 😤"
Laura: "Because you're coming with me! Besides, you're my sister. Helping me is part of your responsibilities. 😎"
Kristen: "Since when?! 😭"
Laura smiled innocently and placed several books into Kristen's arms.
Kristen: "HEY! I DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS! 😱"
Laura: "Stop complaining and start walking! The library won't return itself! 😎"
Kristen sighed dramatically and adjusted the books in her arms.
Kristen (thinking): "First, a mysterious pendant. Then, a strange world. Now, an entire mountain of books. Wonderful. Just wonderful. What else could possibly go wrong? 😑"
Laura was already heading toward the door, completely unconcerned about Kristen's suffering.
Laura: "Come on! If we keep standing here, we'll never reach the library!"
Kristen: "You're the one who borrowed enough books to build a second library! 😤"
The sisters finally left the Ramrizz house together, carrying their books toward the library.
Kristen still had no idea how she had entered that mysterious place or why she had returned wearing the pendant.
She only knew that she needed answers.
Unfortunately, helping Laura with her enormous book collection had become her immediate problem.
And somewhere in Lupesia, something strange was already beginning to unfold. 😈
