Kristen was pacing around her room, desperately trying to understand the old man's directions.
Kristen: "How do I find that place? West, ten steps, lifeless stone… WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?! 😤"
She stopped and stared at the ceiling.
Suddenly, her eyes widened.
Kristen: "HUH… IDEA! 😎"
She immediately rushed out of her room.
In Natalie's Room… 👗
Natalie was standing before her wardrobe, holding several dresses against herself and examining them in the mirror.
Natalie: "After ten days… the Lupesia festival! What should I wear this time? 😎"
She held up a beautiful dress, then immediately threw it onto the bed.
Natalie: "Nope! Too boring! 😑"
Just then, someone knocked on her door.
Natalie: "Yes? Come in!"
Kristen opened the door.
Natalie: "Ohh… Kristen! What happened? 😎"
Kristen: "Did you see Laura, sis? 😤"
Natalie blinked.
Natalie: "Nooo! 😎"
Kristen: "Okay. 😤"
Kristen immediately turned around and left.
Natalie stood there, holding a dress in each hand.
Natalie (thinking): "Am I… AIR? 😶"
She slowly looked at the dresses.
Natalie: "At least these dresses care about me. 😭"
In the Garden… 🌸
Meanwhile, Laura was standing beneath a tree, staring dreamily into the distance.
Laura (daydreaming): "He was so beautiful… It felt like he had jumped straight from heaven! 🥰"
She hugged a flower against her chest.
Laura: "That smile… those eyes… OH MY GOD! 🥰"
Suddenly, Kristen appeared behind her.
Kristen: "FOUND YOU! OII, MADAM! 😎"
Laura, completely lost in her imagination, giggled.
Laura: "My handsome! 🥰"
Kristen froze.
Kristen: "MY HANDSOME?! Ohhh… 😊"
She picked up a flower and used her magic to flick it gently against Laura's head.
Laura (turning left): "Huh? 😶"
Kristen: "LOOK HERE! 😎"
Laura slowly turned toward her sister, still wearing her dreamy smile.
Laura: "Do you need anything? 🥰"
Kristen stared at her in disbelief.
Kristen: "IN WHICH WORLD ARE YOU LIVING?! 😤"
Laura blinked innocently.
Kristen: "Anyway! You've read so many books, right? 😎"
Laura: "Nothing… and yeah. Why? 😤"
Kristen folded her arms.
Kristen: "So… west side of our country, ten steps forward, a lifeless stone, and a place connected to it. Do you know anything about that? 😶"
Laura stared at her for several seconds.
Then she smiled awkwardly.
Laura: "Ah… Kristen, are you mad? Aren't stones usually lifeless? 😶"
Kristen threw her hands into the air.
Kristen: "HUH?! UNDERSTOOD! YOU'RE USELESS! WHY THE HELL AM I EVEN ASKING YOU?! 😤"
She turned around and started walking away dramatically.
Laura: "WAIT!"
Kristen stopped.
Laura: "I don't know about the lifeless stone, but the western side has the Temple of the West. Behind it, there's an abandoned house. Maybe that's the place you're searching for! 🥰"
Kristen slowly turned around.
Her eyes sparkled.
Kristen: "OH MY GOD, SIS! YOU ARE GREAT! I LOVE YOU! 🥰"
Before Laura could react, Kristen rushed forward, kissed her cheek, and sprinted away like a woman who had just discovered the secret to eternal life.
Kristen: "I'M COMING, MYSTERIOUS HOUSE! 😎"
Laura stood motionless, touching her cheek.
Laura: "Is she… POSSESSED? 😶"
She watched Kristen disappear around the corner.
Laura: "First, she talks to herself. Then she asks about lifeless stones. Now she's kissing me and running away. What is wrong with this family? 😭"
Meanwhile, Kristen hurried toward the western temple, completely unaware that the abandoned house might hold answers to mysteries far greater than she imagined. 😈
