Third person POV
And so, one night at 8 p.m., Gen and Hayate began to devise a new plan for Shu's treatment. Gen's core idea was to give him pain based on his logic that he was so full of guilt for almost murdering him for revenge that he was full of mental and emotional pain, and might want physical pain as well.
He laid down these sensational points:
Sight - referring to look menacing (with a respiration mask or the full Yami Kuro Yama soldier's attire in red and grey camouflage colors with the vials and syringes of the zombie virus on the vests)
Feeling - the physical pain
Hearing - the sounds of the zombies, gunshots, guns being reloaded, blades being sharpened, and footsteps
Smell - can be smoke from normal tear gas or smoke from canisters containing the zombie virus
Taste - the copper metallic tang taste of blood on his mouth or the bitter taste of the zombie vials
Gen knew that it was up to Shu for these, forbidding himself from administering the tortures without his word.
Gen also happens to discover Shu's secret formula for his On the Brink of Death Serum that he uses to make it like some steroids in a syringe. He had photocopied it and used it to make batches of it (he also knew its purpose from the small notes of the formula). He returned the notebook to Shu's room.
Gen had been making batches of Shu's secret formula in the last 3 days.
After much planning, Gen made a plan to torture Shu and even injected his modified zombie virus into him; he had doused his vials of zombie virus with neutralizers and made sure that they wouldn't pop Shu's veins, or it would be bad for him and Gen. The transformation turned the virus from glowing green to dark green. He had kept some of the bullets and canisters containing the zombie virus for Shu's requests, all arranged by Hayate.
Hayate was stunned at the color transformation of the zombie virus.
Gen's plan also catered to whatever torture pain Shu could ask for at any time during what he would call "peace treatments".
This was laid in Gen's blueprint, a literal blueprint in the A3-sized format.
He will execute his plan right away as early tonight as possible before Shu's mental state worsens more.
